Chapter 9

Casper layed on his bed looking trough his phone. What took the vampire so long?

The door opened and Thatch walked in. The ghost scanned him. Dabateable if intentionally or not.

The vampire got all in. With a fitted purleish shirt, black cuffed yeans and most importantly a leather jacket. "The fuck are you wearing?" He hissed.

Casper lifted his arm. "A hoodie and jeans?" He muttered. "That's a date wear something more elegant." The vampire demanded. "We're going to the movies! It's dark?" The ghost contered.

Too late. A knock on the door. Casper got up and opened it. Wolfie was standing there. Casper smiled in an attemt to calm him. That boy was nervous.

Thatch was watching his fake boyfriend talking softly to Wolfie, which made the werewolf even more nervous. "Let's go." Thatch hissed and pulled Casper with him.

The three boys met up with Monaco at the entrance. Thatch already hated it. Wolfie and Monaco were both bad at getting shit straight. This was like hanging out with two more Caspers.

Cappy's ship landed at Dis' habor. The closest city to scare school (that was located in the underworld). Not the biggest but it was okay. Wolfie led them to the cinema.

Casper had told him what movie they'd watch but he didn't listen so he was surprised that Wolfie had picked a horror movie.

Horror Movies are quite different in the monster world. They're mostly about humans hunting down monsters. But still a decent choice that actually made sence.

"So y'all paying one?" The annoyed cashier asked. In the traditional date manner Wolfie payed for Monaco's ticket. They got snacks and waited beside the counter for Thatch and Casper to be done. "I'm paying the last two." Thatch explained while pushing the ghosts hand away from his hoodie pocket.

The shorter one stared at him in disbelieve while he ordered snacks as well and then grabbed him by the hand to pull him along. Yeah of course fake dating and all but Thatch was going all in.

Thirty minutes later the movie started. Thatch was sitting right already eye rolling at the movie. The obvious truth was everyone in this movie just sat there to make out.

After another twenty minutes 90 percent of the watchers weren't watching but sticking to their partner. Even Wolfie and Monaco were wispering to each other giggling.

Thatch decided he could at least maybe annoy these two a little bit by overacting. He overall didn't like either of the two.

He leaned over to Casper and kissed his neck, wandered over to his cheek and then his lips. Or at least he attempted to. The ghost covered his fake boyfriend's mouth and made a 'shh' sound.

Now Thatch was offended. Heavily. He huffed, turned back and crossed his arms. This dickhead had the audacity. Angrily he grabbed the popcorn and proceeded to empty the whole bucket.

A warm hand slid over and grabbed Thatch's. Oh Casper felt bad? Rightfully so. But the ghost still focused on that terrible movie. Pff.

The finale was not at all surprising. The girl survived the monster hunter isn't really dead. Cliche.

Credits roled and they left the theatre. "Thatch didn't know you're so attention starved. It was to sweet to see you sulk that Casper didn't kiss you back." Monaco giggled on way to a nearest fast food shop.

"I am not." Thatch hissed coldly. "I don't know dude you seemed really disappointed." Wolfie added. "Sorry I really got too invested hon." Casper apologized. Thatch knew he didn't mean it.

They sat outside enjoying the night. Wolfie and Monaco decided to grab the food for the four so the couples could actually talk to each other.

As soon as the two were gone Casper started laughing. "Aww you're salty." he grinned. "No shut up!" The vampire hissed. He grabbed his fake boyfriend's face. "Never cut me off like that again." He growled but he didn't sound intimidating at all.

The ghost giggled and pulled Thatch into a kiss, pushed him back again and smirked at him. The vampire seemed surprised but then understood ad he heard Wolfie and Monaco coming back.

Everyone got what they ordered. "Are you sure you only wanted a soda?" Wolfie asked again and Casper nodded. "Had a heavy breakfast." The ghost promised.

"Aww come on babe you should eat a little bit more." Thatch suggested in a passive aggressive way as he pushed over the fries. Casper knew that Thatch would make this very uncomfortable if he stated any posters so he just ate some.

After a few hours the flying ship arrived at Scare School's habor. Thatch's had his arm wrapped around Casper while they followed Wolfie and Monaco back to the school building. They were holding hands and even tryed to decently flirt.

They sperated on the hallway that lead to the girl dorms. "Thanks I head a great evening. See you guys tomorrow." Monaco laughed and kissed Wolfie on the cheek before leaving them.

Wolfie shrieked and hugged Casper. "Thanks man that went so well. I can't- thanks buddy I love you. As a friend don't worry Thatch." He almost yelled excitedly. "Glad we could help. You go boy." Casper laughed. "Don't mess it up." Thatch muttered sticking his hands into his pockets.

After Wolfie disappeared in his dorm Casper grabbed into his pocket. "How much do I owe you?" He asked. "Huh?" The vampire seemed confused. "For the movie." The ghost clarified.

An eye roll. "Forget it." "What no! I can-" "Shut up I said it's fine." Thatch hissed. Casper cleared his throat and nodded. „Thank You."

When they arrived at Casper's room they ready could hear music which meant that Ra and Mantha probably needed privacy.

At first he was hesitant to take Thatch's offer but then where else should he go? Slither probably stayed over at Dummy's dorm which let Thatch sigh in relief.

He let his jacket fall onto the floor and stretched before walking into the bathroom. Casper picked it up and layed it over the chair in front of the desk.

Thatch came back with a toothbrush in his mouth and without a shirt. He trew the purple one he previously wore at Casper. "Sweatpants are in the right closet." He muttered.

They switched. Casper got into the bathroom to change and Thatch layed down in his coffin.

A dumping sound coming from the bathroom caught his attention. "You okay?" He asked. No answer.

He got up and walked into the bathroom only to see Casper leaning over the toilet looking like he had died again.

"My stomach didn't take the food." The ghost coughed. "What do you mean you had like a hand full of french fries what the fuck?!" The taller one yelled. "Don't yell at me I am sick!" Casper yelled back.

The vampire helped Casper getting up. He left again so the ghost could change. After that he handed him a blanket. "You know I would let you sleep in Slither bed but... you don't want that, trust me. So we'll share mine."

Now they layed next to each other. Both slightly pressed against the wooden sides of the coffin. Thatch kept the lid open so Casper would have to wake him in emergencies like throwing up again etc.

"We did a good job." Casper muttered staring against the ceiling. "I guess." Thatch yawned. "I mean at least we make other people happy." The ghost added. "Dude that's the exact opposite of what we want to do remember." His fake boyfriend groaned. "And now sleep or I'll kill you again." He hummed oddly peacefully.

Casper sighed. How embarrassing. Thatch was already really good at catching up with his little problems but this one was just hardcore. At least thatch wouldn't worry about him. But still. The ghost preferred keeping his problems to himself.

It was not until four in the morning that Casper drifted into a somewhat sleep kind of state. Thatch had wrapped am arm around his hip which was oddly calming.
