In the Spirit World, Nova, Biff, Neville, Sakura, Darklight, Weston, Petunia, and Lydia all circled each other. "I really thought we found the true hero of the village but I guess we were wrong." Petunia said.

"No, this just isn't right. I mean we all had to overcome our sins. Arceus has given all of us a second chance so why can't Faith?" Nova asked.

"Arceus has given us an order and we can't disobey him. You know what happens to Spirits that don't listen to him, right?" Sakura asked. The other Eeveelution Spirits nodded excluding Biff.

"But... He's not much of a Pokégod if he can be defeated by a ten year old human kid" he mumbled under his breath.

Sakura overheard him and gave him a dirty look. "I never want to hear you say that again. What if Arceus heard you?"

Lydia cleared her throat. "Well anyways, I think Nova is right. Arceus forgave us for our sins so why can't Faith be forgiven as well?"

"I think we should give her another chance" Petunia replied.

"I agree" Weston nodded.

"Me too" Darklight responded.

"Me three" Neville and Biff said in unison.

They looked at each other and back at the other Spirits. "We both agree."

Sakura just looked away from the spirits. "You seven are a disgrace..."

"Oh come on, Miss Loyalty, we know you feel the same way about Faith." Petunia responded.

Sakura thought about it and sighed. "Yes... But it's too late. The power has already been given to another hero by the order of Arceus."

"Oh... Right..." Weston's ears dropped and he looked down sullenly. "But... We still have some left to give to Faith. Arceus will understand that we're using the extra portion of the power for a good reason."

Sakura was lost in thought again. "...Fine ! But, if we get in trouble for this, you owe me!"

They then jumped off the clouds of the Spirit World and fell down to Earth where Faith was.

Faith was laying in a cage unconscious. She could hear voices calling her name. She groggily opened them to see that she was in a cage. She winced in pain looking at her Eevee body with scratches and bruises all over. She tried to move but to no avail. She was in chains just like her vision from long ago. She heard the Eevee Villagers calling her name. "Faith... Faith... Are you alright?" Breeze asked with concern.

"I think so? W-what happened? Where am I?" She suddenly heard an unknown cackle from behind her. She turned around to see two blood red eyes staring at her in the shadows. "Hello Faith, hope you're enjoying your prison because you won't be escaping any time soon!"

"Who are you?" Faith asked.

"Hm... Since you won't be coming out, I guess it'll be okay to show you who I am." He walked out into the tiny speck of moonlight in the area. He was a Pokémon Faith has never even seen before or at least a mix breed of Pokémon.

"What are you?" She asked.

"I am a Zoreon. I am a fusion of a Zoroark and Umbreon.

"Fusion?" Faith asked.

The Zoreon cackled. "I expected you wouldn't know what it is. The Dark One has given me the power to fuse and now with the power of making illusions and turning into any Shadow version of a Pokémon I want by using my Zoroark power there is no way to stop me. So... Have fun living the rest of your pathetic life in a cage like the animals you are!" The Zoroark then disappeared before her eyes.

Faith sat in the cage for hours, trying to escape using Iron Tail But the cage held her in strong. She collapsed to the ground in exhaustion. She had to get out somehow. She had to save her villagers.

Suddenly, a bright light blinded her. Once her vision came back, she saw the eight Eeveelution spirits in front of her.

"We're sorry Faith. We realized what we've done and we decided to give you a second chance, but you must not overcome the seven sins again." Petunia told her. The Eeveelution spirits then glow their color and shoot harmless beams at her, giving her the power once again.

"Thanks, but how am I going to get out of this cage? It seems to have been built with steel. I can't seem to get through it."

Nova stepped forward. "Use the FireStone you possess."

Faith obeyed and touched the FireStone. She evolved into Flareon.

"Now make your body heat up to melt the cage." Nova instructed.

"How do I do that exactly?" She asked.

"Well... The way I do it is with my rage. Maybe you can-"

"No, no, no I never want to feel anger again. I hurt Serena the last time I was angry.

"You can't keep your anger inside forever you know. It is okay to feel angry some times, being able to feel this particular emotion is a healthy thing for you to do. There are times you can be angry and there are times you can't, And this is your time you can. You must wake up that sleeping lion inside of you and catch fire." Nova exclaimed. She began to sing Catch Fire to motivate Faith to feel angry.

Faith thought about the Eevee Villagers being taken and held hostage, Nightlight poisoning Clairvoya, And the Dark One's servants tricking her as her body began to heat up to more than 1,600 degrees Fahrenheit. The cage began to melt enough so she could escape. She was about to do the same for the villagers until a cackle came out in the shadows and out came the Zoreon. "Seems that you have escaped. Clever girl" he smirked. "But... I still won't let you have your precious villagers back until you defeat me."

Faith glared at Zoreon and went into a battle stance. "It's on!"

Faith then felt a small paw touch her. She looks down to see Sino. "Go get em" he told her. "Save my village."

She stepped forward. "I won't let you take the village without a fight!"

"Fine by me!" The Zoreon responded. He attacks with a Rock Smash as Faith dodged them.

She then attacks with Ember, hitting him. Zoreon may be a fusion but he wasn't as fast as Faith. Zoreon attacks with Dark Pulse, hitting Faith but she quickly shook it off and used Fire Fang. Zoreon dodged her and head butted her side making her lose her footing. She de-evolved back into an Eevee and quickly ran to the bowl with the other two stones and grabbed the ThunderStone. She then evolved into Jolteon.

"You might have defeated my Fire but what about my Thunder."

She then attacks with Thunderbolt. Zoreon was shocked by the electricity attack. He glares at her in anger. "So... That's how you're going to play, huh? You're tougher than you look, kid, I'll give you that, but can you handle this. He then changes form to a Shadow Sandslash with a light purple body and dark purple spikes.

"Now what are you going to do, kid?" He asked.

She stared at him in shock. He dug underground using his sharp claws and attacked Faith from underneath with a Metal Claw.

She then de-evolves back to an Eevee from the attack once again.

"Faith, use all three stones at the same time." Sakura told her.

"What?! But... I thought I wasn't ready for that power yet." Faith replied.

"Just do it. Trust me!"

"Well... Alright then." She shrugged. She touched all three stones at the same time. The FireStone with her left paw. The WaterStone with her right paw. The ThunderStone with her nose.

A bright light blinded everyone in the area. Once they're vision returned what they saw surprised everyone. What they saw was a white Eeveelution with many different colored orbs floating around her body and a third eye on her forehead.

She could hear some murmuring in the cages behind her. "Whose That Pokemon? Is it a new Eeveelution? No, is it a Legendary Eeveelution. What is it called? A Mystereon?" They asked.

"It's an Orbeon..." Sakura whispered to herself, wagging her tail.

"Orbeon..." Faith repeated out loud.

Zoreon looked at her bewildered with her new look but soon changed his expression to a more serious one. He had to defeat her.

She used a Tri Attack as three different colored orbs around her floated in front of her face, forming a triangle and grew in a larger size. Three beams of electricity, fire and Ice were released at Zoreon. He was burned but he wouldn't let that stop him from fighting. He used Night Slash But Faith dodged it easily and used Flamethrower. He was cooked in the fierce flames and he was hurt by burn. He glared at Faith with anger. He leaped at her, trying to catch her off guard but he was only attacked with Thunder.

The villagers in the cages cheered for Faith. They could see that the battle would soon end and Faith was winning. The spirits watched the battle proudly. They knew that they have done well with their training.

Faith used Scald, drenching Zoreon with water, the force pushed him, back first, into a tree. He slowly got back to his feet only to get attacked by another one of Faith's Tri Attacks.

He finally collapsed to the ground. The Zoreon was soon separated back into a Zoroark, Gengar and Umbreon. A mysterious stone fell to the ground in front of the trio.

"The Dark One is actually three Pokémon?" Faith thought.

Once Nightlight saw Faith and the Gengar he flees without a word.

The Gengar stood up. "You May have beaten me, but we'll be back! Enjoy your village while it lasts. The Dark One is coming, it's only a matter of time. This won't be over until he says it's over." He says before vanishing.

"So, he isn't the Dark One... Well who is? Will we ever know?" She thought.

Eclipse just sat there confused about what had happened.

Sakura sees him and suddenly has a flashback of when the village was attacked.

Sakura's flashback

Sakura looked up to see a silhouette of a Pokémon on a cliff. Suddenly a Flareon cried, "avalanche!" Sakura looked back at the Flareon to see many rocks falling. "Nova, Biff, Neville, Darklight, Weston, Petunia and Lydia we need to get everyone out of here and fast."

They quickly told all the villagers to evacuate the village.

Sakura rushes over to an Espeon with a cracked gem. "Mystic, you must lead the villagers to a new place. You must find a new area to live"  she told her. She knew that she wouldn't be able to come with them to the new place because this was her fate.

Mystic nodded. She looks back at Darklight, knowing that this would be the last time she would see him. "I love you, my son" she told him before she left with a younger Umbreon following her.

Sakura heard screams of pain from the other heroes as they were crushed by a giant pile of rocks. She turned around to only see a rock heading straight for her.

Her flashback ended and she glared at Eclipse.

"You! You did this! You started that avalanche and killed us!" Eclipse nearly jumped out of his skin once Sakura showed herself to him, but he quickly let it go.

"Yes, it was I, but I didn't mean to kill you, I was after Nightlight. I was trying to kill him but you got in my way. You should have stayed out of it. You wouldn't have been killed if you were smart enough."

"Then why did you fuse with him if you hate him so much?" Sakura asked.

"I was forced to by Gengar. He tricked me into becoming his apprentice so I can become stronger. Then, when he met Nightlight he decided he was the missing piece he needed for the fusion stone but he wanted to know what he could do so he killed Clairvoya and that's when everything went black. I think that was when he hypnotized us and forced us to fuse. Anyways I better be going, I'd rather not get into any trouble if I can help it." With that, Eclipse fled. Sakura was about to go after him but Darklight stopped her. "Just let him go!"

Faith then frees the villagers from their cages before de-evolving back to an Eevee. Faith, Serena and Lillie come in for a group hug. Spitfire peeks his head out of Serena's scruff. "Is he gone? Is it over?" He chirps.

"Yup" Faith replied.

He then flies out of her scruff and flies around Faith with delight.

"Well what are we waiting for let's go home." Faith said.

Faith and the villagers all set off on their walk back home.

Welp... That's the end of Chapter 20. I'm still not done though. There's an Epilogue left for the true ending of the story.

I was originally thinking of her evolving into a fusion of Flareon, Vaporeon and Jolteon when she uses the three stones at the same time but I don't know what that would look like so she turned out to be a Legendary Eeveelution like Pokémon.

Mystic is actually from my first story on this account 'Shattered Inside' so if you want to know more about her, you can go ahead and read Shattered Inside.

I am thinking of doing an actual prequel of Faith the Eevee about Sino and how he found the village and the 2nd book the Last Hope is coming soon so be ready for that as well.
