Third person POV

Loud laughters and children giggles were resonating in the park, where the blonde male sat down on a bench, looking at his six year old son laughing with other kids, a soft smile adoring his lips.

On the farthest corner of the park, Jimin, Jin and Hoseok were yelling at each other while they played, throwing grass at each other.

Yoongi was sitting beside Taehyung, his cat-like gaze fixed at the familiar raven lock man, who sat looking at the park and giggling elders like they had grown two heads.

His buff arms crossed at his chest and even if the mafia did his best in intimating a dead serious look over his features, Yoongi could clearly see his flickering eyes.

The blonde looked at his side, frowning as he followed his hyungs gaze and Taehyung's heart clenched watching Jungkook sitting on the farthest corner, alone.

When did the raven become so packed? When did he forget to enjoy himself?

His bottom lip slipped behind his lower teeth as he gazed over those, his heart hurting for the mafia. Looking down, the male sighed, he didn't want to sit there anymore.

The blonde stood up on his feet only to be pulled back by Yoongi who still didn't look at him, eyes never leaving Jungkook.

"Don't blame yourself, Taehyung. It isn't your fault." The Male's soothing voice filled his ears as the blonde shook his head.

"I made him like this, hyung. It is m-my fault, I-i left him. I-if, if I would've acted mature, I-i would have used my brain, m-maybe we w-weren't going through all this." Tears burned his beautiful almond eyes, gulping the heavy lump down his throat, he smiled sadly.

"He suffered because of m-me, o-only me.." Taehyung uttered, getting up on his feet, wanting to go far away but again his feet came to halt when a chuckle escaped Yoongi's lips.

"And last night when I asked him, he said you suffered only because of him, and him. Aren't you both a little dumb?" Taehyung turned around confused, the elder male looking at him, smiling.

"Taehyung, Jungkook thinks he made you suffer, you went through all of this because of him.."

"But Jungkook didn't do anything."

"He said if he wasn't friend with Yugyeom, you would have never met him, he said if he wasn't Mr. Jeon's son you wouldn't have gone through so much, he said if he, he hadn't fallen in love with you, you wouldn't have gotten hurt." Yoongi's words stabbed Taehyung's heart, his tears gathering around his round chocolate brown orbs.

"He regrets falling in love with me?"

"No Taehyung, he regrets making you fall in love with him." His head was jerked forward toward Yoongi, eyes already spilling tears as Taehyung shook his head furiously.

"I know Taehyung, I know he abused you in the start not only mentally but physically too and I would never ask you to forgive Jungkook for it, but he- he is already hurting Tae, more than he should. Jungkook did everything in his power to save you, to save Jaehyun, even got a few punches from all of us, cause we thought he had kidnapped Jae, but Jungkook wanted to protect him from Yugyeom." Taehyung stared at Yoongi with his teary orbs as he sat down again beside him, tears never stopping.

"Don't think of me as some manipulative freak, Tae. But, just, if- i-if its possible, if y-you are comfortable with it, only if you can!" Yoongi's soft comforting voice started getting quieter, his eyes wavering and when the male looked up, Taehyung gasped, tears in Yoongi's eyes.

"Pl-please give him a chance. N-no matter how hard Jungkook tries to get away from you, d-don't let him, l-i saved him years back Taehyung, when you left. But if history repeats, I wouldn't be able to save my brother.."

"Hyung-"

"I will not say to love him, I will not say to forgive him, just stay by his side Taehyung, stay beside him. He needs you." The blonde struggled to stop his raging heart as he turned his head toward the mafia watching him sit there blankly, almost lifeless.

More tears gathered around his orbs, missing the elder male who stood up and went somewhere, leaving Taehyung alone in his baffling thoughts.

It's been almost a month since Yugyeom's incident, the male behind the bars for the crimes and assault he performed, since the blonde hadn't shared a word with the mafia.

After their argument, more like Taehyung's pleadings and Jungkook's angry words, they didn't even glanced at each other, Taehyung's heart hurting everytime Jungkook ignored him.

Taehyung sucked in a deep breath, nodding his head at his own thoughts, mind filled with Yoongi's words, Taehyung knew Jungkook had suffered a lot. Like a lot.

As he stumbled toward the mafia with raging in his heart, Taehyung believed that Jungkook wouldn't hurt him, past incidents and the flash of hurt in Jungkook's eyes had made him sure that Jungkook wouldn't hurt him, physically.

The blonde didn't name those rising emotions in his chest but something he used to feel a long time ago, he didn't feel anger, fear or- or actually nothing at all. But his heart still hammered inside his chest like- like, he couldn't just say.

Jungkook's doe bambi eyes looked longingly at the playing kids, his heart hurting inside, it's been years he went to parks or played any games, he didn't have a family to go with. His husband had left him and his child? About whom he never knew was dead.

But the Male's thoughts came to an end when his ears got filled with a sweet, deep voice. "Jungkook.."

The man was caught off guard as he hurriedly turned his head to the other, causing Taehyung to got startled and if it wasn't for the mafia's hold on his wrist, Taehyung would have fallen on his back.

The shriek and Taehyung's closed eyes made the mafia shake his head at the other's carelessness, pulling him up forcefully, Jungkook clicked his tongue when Taehyung's head collided with his chest, "Ouch!"

Taehyung looked up at Jungkook, his round puppy eyes staring at the mafia's boopable nose, unconsciously a pout forming on his lips.

"Sorry."

"Whatever." Taehyung bit his inner cheek at the mafia response, narrowing his eyes at him as he shuffled back from the raven.

Silence engulfed both of the male, fingers playing with each other as they both refused to look at one another, the mafia staring ahead and the blonde looking here and there, stealing a few glances in between at the raven.

The mafia side eyes the boy sitting beside him, his orbs resting on the other's pouty lips and flaring locks. That was when his eyes landed on a small mark near Taehyung's ear, frowning he asked.

"What happened?"

"Huh?" The blonde got startled, looking at Jungkook with confusion all over his face as he followed the mafia's gaze.

"Near your ear, what's that?" The mafia questioned, he couldn't help but get worried seeing the mark on the blonde's skin- it seemed like a healed cut.

"N-nothing." The blonde stuttered, looking anywhere but the raven, gulping a little when remembered what had caused it.

"Tell me, Taehyung. Did someone hurt you?" The mafia's voice was stern and deep, almost raising hairs on Taehyung's skin as he blinked furiously.

"S-someone did in the past." Taehyung's stutter made the mafia frown who didn't look satisfied with his answer as the blonde continued.

"I spilled water on Y-yugyeom's work papers, so he, he struck me, his ring s-scratched me." The younger male uttered, looking down, his orbs flickering to Jungkook's clenched fist at his trousers fabric.

"I shouldn't have told Jungkook about it..."

But Taehyung panicked when the other suddenly got up, startling him, as he also stood up on his feet, ready to stop Jungkook.

"Jung-

"Shut it!" The blonde hissed at the mafia's cold tone, his orbs brimming with new tears, watching the male left, Taehyung felt his heart clenching in his chest.

The blonde's bare feet tapped against the floor of the long corridors, lost in his thoughts and worried about the mafia suddenly leaving him in the park without any word.

It was the evening after that incident in the park and Taehyung hadn't seen the raven once yet, not even on the dinner yesterday, not even on the breakfast and lunch today.

Yeonjun beside him, skipped on his feets, his hands holding the neatly folded clothes of the raven that returned from the laundry. The male blabbering about something which didn't make any sense to Taehyung, silently listening to the younger.

But Taehyung listened carefully to the younger male when he said, how he's the only one after Yoongi and him, who was allowed here, in this wing of the mansion.

The blonde had raised his eyebrows in amusement and when asked what was the reason but a soft laugh had escaped out of Taehyung's mouth, hearing Yeonjun proudly say, "I asked the same thing to Sir Jeon too, hyung and he told me that I am the most dumb person in his whole team so he trust me with all the information."

The younger had whined at Taehyung's laughter, stomping his feet down on the floor, as Taehyung waved his hand at him,

"It doesn't matter that he called you dumb, Yeonjun. What matters is that he trusts you. He is just like this, covering his good actions with bad words." The younger had peeked glances at Taehyung as he spoke in a very small voice.

"It means, when he said he wanted to hurt you but told every guard to be alert as Yugyeom came to take you. He said he wanted to separate Jaehyun from you but took him here because Yugyeom found out about him being with Jimin-ssi alone-" Taehyung felt his feets halt in his steps, looking at his side at Yeonjun who refused to look up at him as he continued.

"Or when he said he hates you and doesn't trust you but still let you live here, in his wing of the mansion. He said he doesn't want to see you but still gives you the room just beside his office. Was he covering his actions with his words, hyung?" Yeonjun's question churned something in Taehyung's heart who felt his throat tightening, unable to speak anything, the male looked around.

But the younger boy smiled softly and nudged him forward, uttering a small "I am sorry." Unaware of the damage his words had caused to Taehyung's heart, refused to calm down.

The male absentmindedly stepped forward with the other who disappeared behind Jungkook's room door, Taehyung stopped outside, his heart hammering loudly inside his chest.

But his orbs shifted to a closed door, frowning, Taehyung felt himself pulled toward the unknown room, he stood in front of the room, the wooden door separating him from the unknown yet familiar pull from behind the doors.

His throat tightened, lifting his shaking hand as Taehyung let it wrapped around the knob of the door, surprising as the door unlocked with one swift turn of the knob. Taehyung stepped inside.

But his mouth hung open and jaw touched the floor and a gasp of disbelief followed, the male pressed his palm against his mouth. Puppy eyes widening and tears surround them.

The paints splashed over the walls, brush scattered around the floor and canvas on the shelves brought down a series of memories to Taehyung's brain, instantly a tear leaving his eye.

He looked around, cautiously stepping forward. The blonde let his fingers brush against the canvas edges, feeling the roughness against his finger tips, he smiled sadly.

The man stopped when his bare feet pressed against something looking down, the male gasp when realised he had stepped on the few brushes that were laying down, immediately picking them up.

Taehyung blew over the brushes and cleaned their wooden part with the sweater he was wearing, looking at the dried paint over their tips. Carefully putting them aside in the holder, Taehyung noticed the splashed paint on the walls.

He remembered how Jungkook used to shout even if a little paint was spilled on the floor or somewhere, how he used to keep his brushes clean and always tidy, how he used to keep all the canvases organised and covered.

The blonde felt his orbs burning again, when noticed the changes, how paint was splashed everywhere, how brushes were laying anywhere, how canvases were laying here and there, everything was covered but not with clothes or butter paper but dirt and dust.

The blonde wanted to know, what made Jungkook splash all the paint like this, what made him take out his anger on those brushes he loved and what made him this heartless to let him leave those canvas like this.

Was it me? He questioned to himself, tears of guilt and pain filled his orbs that slipped down his chin, but Taehyung froze when,

"What the fuck you are doing here?"

The blonde was startled, spinning round his heels in horror; he froze once again when made eye contact with the mafia's blazing orbs, few lose strands of hair falling on his forehead, the rest tied in a messy man bun.

His eyes trailed down, taking in the sight of Jungkook's bare up, his chest and tattooed arm on the view, the male blinked at the view of the some paint drops on Jungkook's abs as they rested at his v line, loose sweatpants hanging there. Taehyung looked at the mafia's hands, wet with water and a colour palette, clean.

His breath hitched, was Jungkook painting something?

The click of the door's closing brings Taehyung out of his thoughts, looking behind the raven at the closed door, probably the washroom. He gulped, finding the floor more interesting to look at than Jungkook's muscles.

"I asked what the fuck you are doing?" The calmness in his voice scared Taehyung who peeked up at the elder male, searching his brain for any words to let out.

"I-i.. I-i am, I-i...." The blonde struggled, wanting to cry out in frustration, Taehyung heard Yoongi say that how Jungkook let go of his every hobby, of paints, of brushes, of his heart and soul.

But after looking at the raven today, for whatever reason but decorated with those colourful paints today, he just didn't want to be a reason to make the mafia again far from it.

After looking at the washed brushes and palette, Taehyung knew that the raven was painting something and even if his heart was desperate to just look and stare at the piece Jungkook was working on, he didn't want to make the mafia ruin it because of him.

The blonde looked at Jungkook, standing there with his jaw clenched and pierced eyebrows pinched together in anger, still waiting for his response, the younger opened his mouth to say something but was stopped when a high pitched yell reached his ear.

"Taehyung hyungie! I was looking everywhere for you and you are here!" Taehyung watched Yeonjun step into the room, in panic, missing the mafia standing beside the room's door.

"Monster Jeon will behead you if he finds you here! Fuck hyungie! He will eat you alive with his bunny looking teeth! The blonde's orbs comically widened from horror as he looked at the younger and then behind him at the mafia who was shooting daggers at Yeonjun's back.

The blonde waved his hand at Yeonjun to shut up when saw Jungkook stepping forward toward them, watching the mafia raise his hand to grab the younger's shoulder before Taehyung grabbed him and shoved him behind himself.

Now standing in front of the younger, who met Jungkook's eyes and grabbed Taehyung's arm almost instantly, his mouth sealing from the fear of the anger on the mafia's face.

J-jungkook, we are s-sorry, v-very sorry.." Taehyung started to apologise, feeling bad for invading and disturbing the male from whatever he was doing there.

"Both of you get out." But he was silenced by Jungkook's words, his voice still calm and almost a whisper as he refused to look at Taehyung, whose eyes softened, almost filling with tears again.

"Jungkook, I am sorry, we didn't me-

"I said fucking get out!" The sharp yell resonated throughout the room, both Taehyung and Yeonjun behind him flinching in response, the younger's hold tightening on the blonde's arm, his eyes already filling with tears.

Taehyung also looked away from the raven as he nodded his head, stepping away from Jungkook who left the way, the blonde shoving Yeonjun in front of him, away from Jungkook. The younger stepping out of the room instantly.

The blonde almost felt bad for him but his heart stopped as his hand knocked a cup of water placed on the table, letting the dirty water splash on the canvas laying beside it, his eyes widened.

"What the hell you are doing!?"

"I-i am s-" But before Taehyung could complete his words, he was pushed aside by Jungkook, who brushed the water away from the canvas, the art piece setting on it ruin, the colours mixing with each other and the dirty water already staining it.

Taehyung breathlessly stepped forward as he picked up a napkin in hurry, trying to dab the water away but he forgot to breathe and his heart stopped when saw the artwork.

A lone tear slipped down Taehyung's eyes, falling down on the mafia's hand who was busy trying to save the art piece but he stopped and looked up at the blonde, furious eyes met with teary orbs as Jungkook threw the cloth in his hand away.

"What do you fucking want!?" Taehyung flinched at the mafia's yell but he didn't look down nor said anything, only stared into Jungkook's orbs, finding more pain than anger.

"What do you want, Taehyung? What?" The mafia held his shoulders in order to shake him up but couldn't as his hold loosened and Jungkook's voice got quieter and quieter, silencing in the end.

The mafia stared at the blonde who was looking down at the canvas with tears staining his cheeks and his heart clenching in his chest.

The blonde took in the colours, he took in the raven mop of hairs hugging the man with blonde strands, even if the artwork was ruined he identified the features, Jungkook and Taehyung.

He saw the pain behind the artwork, felt how tight was Jungkook grabbing Taehyung's arm in it, and how tightly he held him against his embrace.

How the lifeless Jungkook in the artwork begged the living Taehyung to not let go of him silently.

Taehyung looked up at Jungkook with a gasp, eyes wide and filled with fear, fear of letting Jungkook go once again. Letting go of his love once again.

His sight blurred from tears, fingers shakingly raising in the air to rest against the artpiece but he stumbled back when the canvas was grabbed by the mafia and was thrown against the wall.

Taehyung looked horrored at Jungkook, heart hammering against his limbs, his eyes met with the pain of the mafia's orbs, who breathed heavily, muscles flexing from anger.

"Get out of here, Taehyung." The mafia whispered, a silent warning in his words and tone for the blonde who stayed rooted to his place. Jungkook looked up.

"Out Taehyung." I don't want to hurt you anymore. Jungkook forced out the words out of his mouth and the blonde stepped forward.

Absentmindedly the blonde stepped forward until he was out of the room and the door behind him was shut loudly, almost stopping his heart. He turned around, his palm rested against the door.

And Taehyung shut his eyes, when heard the loud crashing sounds from inside, letting his tears freely fall down, he sat down on the floor on his knees, his shoulders shaked from the cries.

Taehyung clenched his hands tight into his lap, pain and guilt churning in his heart, chest tightening, suffocated. But the male raised his head up in panic and worry when heard a loud yell from behind the doors.

Desperately pressing his palm on the wood of the door, loud cries filling the corridor, his voice wavered.

"J-jungkook.." Taehyung uttered, voice breaking and almost a whisper, a loud crash followed from the room, making the blonde freeze.

"Jungkook, d-don't hurt yourself, please." He begged, warm tears slipping down his face but another yell followed and Taehyung flinched, his heart hurting, he knew Jungkook had punched the wall.

"Jungkook! Please, don't!" Taehyung yelled desperately as Yeonjun came running hearing the loud cries, his own eyes teary.

"Hyung, please leave him alone. Hyung, please.." The younger tried to take Taehyung away who stayed in his place, pushing Yeonjun aside.

"H-he is hurting himself, hurting.. H-how can I-i..."

"It has happened a lot of times, hyung! Please come with me." Taehyung looked at the boy shocked, shaking his head in refusal. Constant tears slipping down his chin, the male looked horrified.

"N-never! Never!-"

"Please, hyung-"

"I said fucking go! I will not leave him! Never!" Taehyung yelled loudly, raising up on his feet pushing Yeonjun back who looked sadly at his hyung and left silently.

Taehyung's shaking hands desperately trying to unlock the locked door. Taehyung cried out in pain, hearing loud yells from inside- so painful and loud, almost like begging and pleading.

"Koo, Please don't hurt yourself, pl-please..." Taehyung begged, a deep soothing voice filled the mafia's ears behind the door and everything stilled, the blonde sobbed as heard something dropping on the floor, he followed and sat down on his knees, forehead resting against the wood.

But a pained cry escaped Taehyung's lips and his shoulder shaked from hiccups, this time he didn't hear loud yells but cries.

Jungkook's loud cries from behind the doors reached the blonde, piercing his heart in two, he heard the mafia cry like a baby from behind the doors.

"J-jungkook, please don'-

"Petal..."

Taehyung's breath hitched, pressing his ear closely to the door. He heard the mafia speak, voice wavering and low, but the blonde didn't hear any more words or syllables. He tried but couldn't form a sentence himself, silent tears flowing down his chin, Taehyung sat there until his eyelids became too heavy, until he fell into deep slumber, against the door, on the floor.

Jungkook sat against the door with his tear stained face, and red button nose, bleeding knuckles and brushes, canvases and pieces of glass pots surrounding him.

The mafia boss of Asia, known as the prince of the underworld, Jeon Jungkook sat on the floor with tears stained cheeks, with heart raging inside his chest. The man everyone feared had cried like a baby, who scared everyone and was now scared himself.

Years ago, Jungkook was scared when Taehyung let go of him and years later he was scared because he had to let go of Taehyung. A lone tear kissed his already wet cheek, the raven wiping it away as he let his eyes closed and curled down himself into the ball on the cold floor.

When Yoongi said that Jungkook had let go of his hobby, of paints, of brushes, he maybe was right but when he said he had let go of his heart, of his soul, he was wrong.

Because it was Jungkook's heart who had let go of him, it was Taehyung who let go of him but this time, the mafia would let go of Taehyung, who had his heart and who was his soul.
