Once upon a time, in the verdant island kingdom of Berk there was a Prince that was to be wed to a Princess. The Prince was a lanky auburn-haired man but he didn't lack muscles. He was lean and unbeknownst to him he had many female eyes on him, and some male though, they were more discreet about it. The Princess he was to marry was a feisty blonde who excluded an aura of confidence. She seemed much more suited to be a General on the battlefiel-"EXCUSE ME!"

The narration stopped and panned instead to said Prince who was being carried off in the clutches of a black dragon. "Hiya... Hiccup here. Just one question. What the hell is going on?!?!"

"You would know that if I wasn't so rudely interrupted," The female narrator huffed.

"I'm about to get eaten by a dragon. I think I have cause for worry." The Prince said rather surly and then gulped as the paws holding him tightened a bit.

"You're not going to get eaten," The narrator huffed but then turned to the dragon that was still in mid-flight "He's not going to get eaten, right?"

"We'll see," The dragon muttered and then chuckled at the Prince's baffled look.

"You can talk??! How?!" Hiccup questioned but he was met with silence.

"Carry on narrator. I haven't been introduced yet," Said dragon stated while holding his prideful head up mid-flight.

"Right, where were we," The narrator mumbled while ignoring Hiccup's pout. "Ah yes...," It was a most auspicious day in the Kingdom of Berk. Today was when Prince Hiccup met Princess Astrid, his betrothed. His life-long partner, and they absolutely hated each other.

"Dad, please reconsider this!" Hiccup begged after meeting the Princess. "I'm not the only one that feels this way."

"Well it wouldn't have come to this if you had chosen a bride before your 21st birthday son. You know the law. Neither you nor Princess Astrid were enfianced."

"That doesn't mean we should be engaged to each other!" Hiccup groaned. He then turned to the Princess who was also in the throne room, standing with her arms crossed. "Help me out here!" He hissed at her.

"Sir, if I may," Astrid spoke up. "For once I am in agreement with Prince Hiccup. We simply aren't a good match. So far we've fought about everything, and I mean everything. He seems like a nice guy but he's not for me."

"I can't change the law decided by the Council of Monarchs!" Stoick bellowed. "You, Princess Astrid beat up all of your suitors until there were none left and you son haven't even tried to get into a relationship!"

"But I'm not 21 yet, dad! There's still time!" Hiccup grumbled.

"You have five days and I highly doubt that your soulmate is going to fall out of the sky!" The King muttered just before the mosaic windows in the throne room broke with an impressive shatter. Those in attendance in the room quickly hunkered down as a reptilian shape filled the room. It was first a black blur but then it became more defined. Bat-like wings could be seen as four paws stuck a crouching landing. The creature was a dragon, a myth, a legend of yore, and it was currently in their throne room. The dragon's green eyes roamed around the room until they set eyes on the Princess. The sleek body moved effortlessly to its target. Weaving through the chaos the dragon finally stood before Lady Astrid who stared down at him without trepidation. Or at least she tried to, the Princess and the dragon were almost eye level because while powerful this dragon was also really really... short.

"HEY!" The dragon exclaimed at the narrator but he was ignored. With an eye roll he then proceeded to pounce on the Princess but the Princess he didn't get. Instead he was saddled with some lanky guy that had pushed her out of the way at the last minute. 'Oh well, he'll do,' the dragon thought as he proceeded to fly away with the bounty in paws.

"Did you seriously think 'He'll do?!'" Hiccup questioned as they were still flying over the sea. "I don't know if I should feel offended or not,"

"Hey, I wasn't going to go back for the Princess." The dragon huffed. "A Prince should be just as good."

"Just as good?!" Hiccup exclaimed before he groaned out. "What in Thor's name is going on here?!"

"Oh hush you!" The black dragon grumbled as they continued flying. Hiccup then noticed that they were slowly descending. Twisting his head ever so slightly he managed to sneak a peek at their destination. It was a small island that held a smoking volcano. They were now close enough that Hiccup could make out the tops of the trees and soon the black dragon landed near a cave on the side of the mountain. "Here we are, Lair sweet Lair," he said as he unceremoniously dumped Hiccup on the ground. "Well go on in and don't forget to wipe your feet. I just recently got all the ants out of here."

"Hey you, what makes you think I won't run?" Hiccup questioned.

"What makes you think I won't set your pants on fire?" The dragon quipped back. "Trust me, you do not want to be pantless in a forest when night sets in. And my name isn't Hey you, it's Toothless."

"Toothless?" Hiccup murmured with a frown as he took notice of the dragon's gums. "I could have sworn you had TEETH!" He had leaned in to examine them closer when sharp teeth sprang out and startled him causing Hiccup to fall on his behind.

"You're awfully chatty for a human." The black dragon rolled his eyes before grabbing Hiccup by the collar and dragging him inside the cave.

"And you're awfully chatty for a dragon." Hiccup shot back as he was once again unceremoniously dropped on the ground. Toothless then plasma blasted an area with logs causing a fire to spring up and illuminate the cave.

"You have a firepit?" Hiccup now questioned as he got a good look around the cavern he had been deposited in. There were some very surprising things in the cave. On one side there was a stone slab that also had some fur coverings over it. There was a rickety bench and even a table. There was also a lot of gold and silver.

"Is this your hoard?" The Prince asked while pointing at the pile.

"No, it's my pigpen." Toothless rolled his eyes before dragging a woven basket of meat towards the fire. "Of course it's my hoard. You know I'm almost preferring a screaming Princess over you," he muttered.

"It wouldn't have been the Princess that was screaming," Hiccup said under his breath.

"So why are you trying to cook those? All the books said you guys ate raw meat." Hiccup's curiosity won out as he now approached the fire pit cautiously.

"Do you want food or not because I could just let you starve." Toothless growled.

"Hey, I'm genuinely curious here!" Hiccup retorted. "That plasma blast of yours would turn the fish into ash and you don't exactly have opposable thumbs to grill a fish over a fire."

Toothless just rolled his eyes and then shifted his form in front of the Prince.

"AAAAAAAH! YOU'RE..." Hiccup scooted back completely wide-eyed at what he was seeing.

"Yes, yes, I can turn into a humanoid," Toothless deadpanned.

"No YOU'RE NAKED!" Hiccup then uttered before trying to cover his eyes after seeing some rather spectacular 'assets'.

"That is what you're focusing on?!" Toothless groaned for the umpteenth time. To say his humanoid form was fit was an understatement. There was a hint of a six pack and other well defined muscles. The only thing that would set him apart from humans was the addition of his tail. It swished in the cold air as he looked down at Hiccup who was blushing and still trying to cover his eyes.

"At least put on some clothes!" Hiccup suggested as it was getting harder and harder to not be so distracted when looking at Toothless.

"You humans and clothes," The dragon muttered with an eyeroll. "If you want to focus on something I'll give you something to focus on." With that said Toothless grabbed the front of Hiccup's clothing and pulled him in for a kiss, tongue included. Hiccup's eyes widened in shock and his arms flayed as the serpent-like tongue did some pretty incredible things that he was hesitant to admit. When Toothless finally ended the kiss both their lips were swollen and the dragon had a smug look on his face as the Prince was finally at a loss for words.

"YOU KISSED ME!" Hiccup exclaimed as he backed up.

"Well that didn't shut you up for long," Toothless muttered as he placed a fish above the fire. Hiccup ended up eating said fish but avoiding Toothless' gaze whenever the dragon looked at him.

The following morning came and Hiccup groaned at the sharp pain in his neck. He had fallen asleep against the cold rock and his head had leaned at an odd angle all night. Toothless had had no problem falling asleep as he shifted back into his dragon form and plopped his body on the furs. Neither one knew that the other's sleep had been fitful because both were thinking about that kiss.

As Hiccup stood up he squinted at the sunlight streaming into the cave. The fire had long since died out. He stretched languidly when he heard a small noise from further in the cave. It sounded like some sort of animal but he couldn't place the sound. Hiccup hoped it wasn't another dragon. One good-looking hunk of a dragon was enough thank you very much. Just as he thought that he smacked himself mentally. Why was he even thinking that? Why had he secretly checked out Toothless? Sure women didn't do much for him but he'd never mentally drooled over a man..... Ehm... dragon-man before. Though he had to admit his dream from last night was quite....... Steamy. As Hiccup walked around the piles of gold and silver he found the source of the sound just as Toothless flew back into the cave and shifted into his humanoid form.

"Oh this is a nice cock!" Hiccup called out causing the dragon to nearly choke and slip on the moss in the cave.

"Excuse me what?!" Toothless called out as a blush started to become apparent on his face.

"I said it's a nice cock!" Hiccup walked back towards the front of the cave holding a rather perturbed rooster. "Where did you get such a fat one?" He asked looking at the foul fowl that might as well have shot him an indigent look. "What is with you humans and clothi-AAH THIS DAMN THING PECKED ME!" The dragon exclaimed as he finally let go of the rooster. "This is the last time I will keep dinner this fresh!"

Hiccup had to chuckle a little at the sight before him. A big bad dragon getting attacked by a rooster. It wasn't really attacking, but the fact the animal pecked his nether regions was hilarious. Hiccup was unable to contain the immense joy he got from seeing the dragon's reaction to what happened.

"Is this amusing to you?" Toothless questioned, perhaps with some annoyance to his tone.

"Yeah, a little, actually." Hiccup responded, trying to compose himself, but kept the smile. "Maybe you shouldn't be walking around naked and it wouldn't have gotten you there. It's your own fault," He added with just a small grin.

The dragon mumbled something, checking himself to ensure he wasn't bleeding. "Stupid thing hurt me," Toothless growled. "I'll kill it this time," He went to go after the rooster and Hiccup couldn't help but laugh again. It was kind of funny.

"Aw, poor Toothy. I'm sorry..." Hiccup gave a pouty lip, trying to keep himself from smiling as he walked closer, cutting off Toothless' path to the rooster. The dragon would likely be getting himself pecked, or actually attacked this time as he was still naked. Toothless huffed, not at all amused by Hiccup's teasing.

"Better watch it..." Toothless warned as he crossed his arms.

"Or what? I'll send the rooster after you," Hiccup remarked with sarcasm, and a small smile. "Want me to make you feel better? I can kiss your booboo for you," The prince giggled.

Toothless was about to retort, but then Hiccup's words hit him fully. 'This boy wouldn't actually do it, would he?' Deciding to find out, Toothless relaxed, giving a casual smile. "You humans do that, don't you? Kiss wounds, and by magical whatever, it feels better after?" Toothless countered as Hiccup paused for a moment to eye the humanoid dragon, who now leaned forward a bit closer to Hiccup. "Well, I suppose I'll take your human word for it, then. Go on..." Toothless invited, shaking his hips, making the appendage that had been pecked sway side to side. Hiccup's eyes widened. "Kiss it better for me?" He almost smirked but for some reason to Hiccup's mind it sounded rather sultry.

As shocked as Hiccup was, and very embarrassed, he couldn't help but feel just a smidgen of curiosity at the invitation to touch the dragon who was in hybrid form. That kiss between them had his mind working overtime, maybe something a little more would help define where his thoughts were at since he couldn't work out if he enjoyed it or not. Hiccup swallowed, sinking onto his knees to be closer and gently taking the flaccid appendage in hand. It would be easy to grab harder and demand the dragon take him home, but curiosity was overriding logical thought to use this to his advantage. Taking a small breath, Hiccup brought his mouth closer and kissed the dragon's manhood. Or was it...Dragonhood?

Toothless nearly growled in enjoyment of the human boy's soft lips on his nether regions. When Hiccup went to pull away, Toothless grabbed his shoulder to keep him in place. "You missed the spot it hurt me on. It was lower." Toothless told him. "You said the kiss had to be on the booboo," He added.

Hiccup really wanted to roll his eyes, he could see what Toothless was doing. He clearly enjoyed what Hiccup did, and wanted more. Shyly, Hiccup wanted to see what he could do to make the dragon speechless. That's what Toothless did to him with the kiss, it was only fair to get back, right? Hiccup moved his head closer again, kissing the appendage again. Instead of stopping with just the one, he led a trail from the head to the base of kisses. Toothless stayed still, eyes closing to relax. He certainly wasn't going to stop the Prince, he knew there was probably curiosity at play since the kiss last night. Hiccup continued what he was doing, just leaving trails of kisses along the appendage. At some point, and he didn't realize it, at first, but Hiccup started moving his hand lightly back and forth.

Toothless gripped Hiccup's shoulder a bit tighter, a low growl escaping his throat and coming out more like a relieved moan. Hiccup wasn't sure if he should keep going, but where was the harm. Toothless didn't tell him to stop and right now, he sort of wanted to see what else he could do to get that reaction out of the dragon. Hiccup forgot that he was supposed to shift his kisses back up, but went lower, kissing the tip and Toothless bucked his hips forward a bit, surprising Hiccup as his mouth gave no resistance to the force and now Toothless's cock was in his mouth. Hiccup momentarily decided what he should do, then decided to push his curiosity further and started moving his mouth back and forth on the cock, still stroking lightly. Was Toothless enjoying this that much? Hiccup was suddenly asking himself why he was kissing the dragon back? He didn't realize, at first, that Toothless was thrusting into Hiccup's grip, nor that he'd started to kiss back. Nervousness fully hit that he needed to get away and think when Toothless got him on the floor and laid over him. Not knowing what else to do, Hiccup moved his hand away and got both under Toothless's chest to push him back and break the kiss.

"No, stop..." Hiccup managed to get out as the kiss broke since Toothless kept trying to do it again. The dragon stared down at the human beneath him, trying to work out what exactly was wrong with the boy. Panting slightly, Hiccup shook his head and looked a little scared or confused. "Get off me..." Hiccup forced out. Complying, though confused himself as he thought Hiccup was into it, Toothless moved off the human as Hiccup quickly scrambled to his feet and shifted back a little.

"Are you okay?" Toothless asked, not entirely sure why he did or cared, but he supposed it just felt like he should.

Hiccup needed to get his head together, away from the naked dragon he was just almost getting off with. He wasn't sure why he was getting excited, but he knew arousal when it hit. Toothless was aroused by things and then the actions the dragon brought on with kissing Hiccup got him going. Hiccup needed to think.

"I-I need to think...Right now, I need to be alone and think..." Hiccup managed to say. Not arguing, and assuming that humans processed these things slower, but understanding Hiccup was startled by what took place and might have continued into, Toothless left the human to his own thoughts.

As Hiccup walked back further into the cave he heard the dragon mutter "Dammit that rooster got away!" and he couldn't help but stifle a giggle.

He leaned against one of the piles of gold and sank down to the ground. "What the hell just happened?!" He asked more to himself out loud. Toothless wasn't in the vicinity to hear him but he didn't know how good the dragon's hearing actually was. "Okay Hiccup, think for a moment. You just.... You just..... Oh my Thor I don't even know how to word it!"

"Right, mom's advice. If you aren't sure, make a pros and cons list." He then muttered. "Pro, we both seemed to enjoy that. Con, he kidnapped me." Hiccup frowned. "Pro, I liked kissing him. Con, he's a guy." There was more frowning and Hiccup mentally asked himself if Toothless being male was such a problem at all. "Well there aren't any rules against men marrying each other in Berk. Uncle Gobber's never complained."

"Another con could be that Toothless is a dragon." Hiccup mumbled as he leaned back, the golden coins shifting slightly to accommodate his weight.

Unbeknownst to Hiccup, Toothless too was having an internal debate. 'Why the hell did I let him continue?!!' Toothless screamed in his mind as he gobbled down a fish raw. There were two more fish roasting above the fire and the dragon grumbled and sat down in front of it. "Okay, granted he's handsome....." The dragons topped that train of thought with a screeching halt and frowned. 'Since when did I start thinking of him as handsome!'

The internal debate for each was still ongoing and once the food was done neither could look the other quite in the eye.

"So....," both said as awkwardness of breakfast continued through the meal

"Thanks for the fish......" The Prince was trying to make small talk but it wasn't that successful.

"You're welcome.... The rooster got away." Toothless replied.

"He did seem rather put out," Hiccup near whispered, because of course the rooster would hightail it to Thor knows where when there is a dragon in the vicinity. But him bringing up the rooster also brought back the events of earlier in the day. "So.... why did you kidnap me anyways?" Hiccup finally asked. It was a question that had been nagging at him for a while.

"I wasn't trying to kidnap you," The dragon huffed before he shifted back into his dragon form and slumped down on the ground in what could only be a dragon version of a pout. "I was aiming for the Princess. Figures I end up with a sassy Prince instead of a Damsel in distress."

"You'd probably be in a lot more trouble if you kidnapped Astrid," Hiccup remarked. "The damsel you were aiming for would have probably beaten the dragon into distress,"

Toothless gave Hiccup a deadpanned look as if to say 'Oh, really,'. "I'm serious," The Prince continued. "She scares the crap out of me. I'm honestly afraid of what would happen if I married her."

"Married? So you're already mated?!" Toothless' eyes narrowed as his gaze pierced Hiccup. "Was I intimate with someone else's mate?!" he growled and narrowed his eyes. "Did you dare cheat?!"

"HOLD ON! HOLD ON TOOTHLESS!" Hiccup backed away as the dragon stalked closer, clearly angry about something. "Astrid and I aren't mated! You got the wrong idea!"

"Then explain," Toothless growled.

"The marriage between Astrid and I wasn't decided by us. Yesterday was the first time I even met her." Hiccup stated. "Both of us..... Didn't have a mate as you would say and so everyone else thought to bring us together but we just didn't click. In fact, when you barged in, both of us were trying to get out of the whole thing."

"Humans are weird." The dragon huffed. "Why would others expect you to mate with someone you have no emotional connection with? Mother's saying might have been right. The only good human is a crispy human."

"You aren't going to roast me now are you?" Hiccup asked worriedly.

"And stink up the cave? Are you mad?" Toothless huffed and sat back down.

"Just checking," Hiccup let out a breath of relief. "Say, you never told me why you wanted to kidnap a Princess in the first place,"

"Because it's the dragon thing to do!" Toothless grumbled, fish forgotten. "You aren't considered an adult dragon unless you've at least kidnapped one Princess and roasted a few silver crabs."

"Wait hold up, this is a thing for you dragons?!" Hiccup stared wide-eyed. "You just go around kidnapping royalty to prove you've grown up?!"

"Pretty much, yes," Toothless said as he walked to his sleeping spot. He nudged the furs with his front paws to bundle them up to make it nice and cozy.

"Also, what are silver crabs?" Hiccup then asked, stopping the dragon in his actions.

"You know those silver humans." Toothless tried to elaborate but Hiccup was still at a loss. "Dad used to grumble about them. Silver crabs, coming at him with pointy sticks. Even when you roast them, according to him, they'll be hard on the outside and squishy on the inside. You know, like normal crabs."

"You mean knights?!" Hiccup asked wide-eyed. "Oh Thor, I know I shouldn't be laughing at this but to hear a dragon refer to knights as crabs.....pfftt..."

"You are one weird human," Toothless stated as he laid down and then indicated for Hiccup to join him.

"And you're one weird dragon," Hiccup muttered as he laid down on top of the furs. For a stone slab it was surprisingly comfy. The dragon was quite warm as Toothless' wing folded over him.

"Well on the bright side.... You can't mate with this Astrid as long as you are part of my treasure." Toothless said proudly.

"Did.... Did you just call me a treasure?" Hiccup asked while trying to hide his blush. Unbeknownst to him the dragon was also blushing.

"I said what I said. Anything I take is part of my hoard." Toothless uttered.

"Even the chicken?" Hiccup couldn't help but question with a giggle.

"Stupid blasted chicken," Toothless grumbled before muttering "Go to sleep human."

The following morning Hiccup woke up without a crick in his neck but when he opened his eyes a sheep was staring back at him. "BAAAAA," the sheep said casually just as Hiccup screamed.

"What in Thor's name?!" Hiccup sat up as the animal backed up. Not far away sat Toothless in his dragon form looking rather smug and prideful.

"Do you like it?" The dragon asked as he stalked closer. "I caught him this morning. See I can be a good provider."

"Huh? Toothless, I honestly don't know what to say." Hiccup blinked at the unusual actions of the dragon.

"I knew I should have gotten you the cow instead," The dragon sighed.

"Wait, what?!" Hiccup blinked. "Toothless please explain."

"I'm showing you that I can be a responsible dragon and a good provider," Toothless stated. "I have a hoard and a home. I'm a financially stable dragon too! And I'm young and handsome."

"Huh?" Hiccup was still at a loss for words as Toothless started strutting. "Wait... wait... back up," Hiccup said as the sheep tried to make itself scarce.

"I'm courting you Hiccup!" The dragon finally explained. "This morning I decided that I would court you! We've already been intimate and you have no mate. I've finally realized that I'm attracted to you and you have to be attracted to me otherwise you wouldn't have done what you did yesterday. So I'm courting you,"

"I don't know what to say Toothless," Hiccup mumbled.

"Say you accept," The dragon now sounded quite eager.

"But I'm a guy...." Hiccup said.

"Dragon males mating isn't rare. We just ask a widowed female to carry the eggs for us." The dragon explained.

"I'm human though," Hiccup then said.

"There have been half-lings born between dragons and humans before." Toothless deadpanned.

"BAAAAA," The sheep uttered once more and then Toothless asked "Is there something else that humans search for in mates? I'm a capable hunter, the whole island is mine and I have gold." The dragon was now getting quite excited as he shifted into his humanoid form "You aren't scared of my dragon form and you find this form pleasing," Toothless then said and Hiccup couldn't help blushing as he took in the muscles and other assets.

In a flash Toothless had Hiccup pressed against the wall. His right leg coming awfully close to Hiccup's crotch. Any closer and the dragon would know that Hiccup was quite aroused at being manhandled like this. It was a surprise even for him. Maybe Toothless already knew as he was sniffing Hiccup's neck before a forked tongue gave it a tentative lick. Hiccup shuddered and then mumbled "Well... Berk is quite accepting about men marrying,"

Toothless nipped at Hiccup's ear causing the Prince to moan. He tried to stifle it but both his hands were held together by the dragon's fingers. The dragon's other hand made his way down Hiccup's flank and groped.
