Flying In

This fic is entirely changed from what it was before as you can probably tell.

This is gonna be one hell of a fic, but I feel like you guys will enjoy it.

Also, there will be a romantic relationship at some point. I don't know with who yet or when it will start, but it'll happen eventually. My characters seem to write themselves in that aspect a lot.

If you enjoy this fic please leave comments and feedback! I love seeing what you guys think of my books/works and it makes me happy to know that you enjoy them!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Izuku was nervous. Ok, no nervous was an understatement at this point, but he didn't exactly have a word for how he was feeling.

He was excited, nervous, afraid, and overwhelmingly happy all at once. It was starting to make him dizzy if he was honest, well that actually might be motion sickness.

He really couldn't tell at this point.

Izuku took a deep breath and continued staring out of the window of the plane he was on. He was finally going to the Yueei region! He's been to almost every other region, or at least the popular regions...

He can definitely say that he's been around the world if anyone asks. He doubts that anyone would, but still.

Izuku was born in the Kalos region. He lived there up until he was four when his family moved to Hoenn. They lived there for two years before going to Unova and then after a year his mom got tired of the city life there and moved them to Johto. They lived there for two years before moving to Alola. When he was fourteen they packed up from Alola and moved to Sinnoh, where they lived until last year. Last year they moved to Galar.

And now here an eighteen-year-old Izuku is, flying to Yueei to begin his pokemon journey at long last.

Izuku's parents were an exotic pokemon breeder and a pokemon rehabilitator specialist respectively so travel was instore for their little family no matter what.

Izuku also picked up a lot from his parents. He plans on getting a rehabilitator and breeder license on top of being a trainer.

There's just something about all three of these careers that have always had Izuku drawn to them to the point he knew he could never pick just one to follow.

Some might call him greedy, considering all of those careers, if done successfully, all make a ton of money, but Izuku isn't in it for the money.

He wants to be a pokemon rehabilitator so he can help those injured and abused pokemon recover and get back on their feet, before releasing them into the wild.

He wants to be a breeder so he can see the smiles on people's faces when he gives them an egg that will become a beloved partner for their own journey or even just a household pet that they can love and cherish.

He wants to be a trainer for himself. He's always looked up at other trainers and thought they were the coolest thing on the face of the planet. He always saw the smiles on their faces, how close they were to their pokemon partners. He wants that. He wants it so bad that he can't stand it sometimes.

And here he is. Finally making his dream a reality. He already has a breeder's license, it just needs to be renewed when he gets to Yuuei so he can officially be a breeder there.

He has a test scheduled for his junior rehabilitator's license next week after he gets settled in. He won't be a fully fledged rehabilitator, but he will be able to assist those who are and temporarily take in pokemon that need rehabilitation until he can get them to a more experienced rehabilitator.

And in two weeks are the sign up for the Trainer's league. He'll get his official trainer start gear and be able to pick up a starter or hatch an egg if he gets one before it's time to pick a starter.

There was a chuckle that pulled Izuku's attention away from the window and towards the one who made the sound.

A dark-blond man with wind-swept hair was looking at him in amusement, "You were muttering without realizing it, kid." He said.

Izuku's faces flushed in embarrassment, "O-oh! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to disturb or distract you! Ah- It- It's just a bad habit that I have and I haven't been able to break it-"

"Calm down kid, I wasn't bothered by it at all. It was actually kind of interesting to hear you talk like that. Never would've thought someone so young would be as well-traveled as that, but I guess thats why they say 'never judge a book by its cover'." He said, "I'm Takami Keigo. An advanced trainer from Yuuei." He said.

Izuku sat wide-eyed for a moment, "I'm Midoriya! Midoriya Izuku! And well from my muttering you know that I'm a novice breeder, but I can't practice in Yuuei as of yet."

Takami nodded, "As I heard. I will say you're taking on a lot of responsibility with getting three separate licenses like that."

Izuku chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck, "I actually have a few more licenses than that..." He said sheepishly. Takami raised a brow, encouraging him to explain, "I'm licensed in pokemon and human first aid and as an emergency pokemon nurse." He said, "I'm also certified to make pokemon food and treats that benefit wild pokemon in healing after battles with trainers."

Takami let out an impressed whistle, "You are one accomplished kid, I'll give you that."

"We have reached the Yuuei region. Please collect any belongings and pokemon before exiting the plane. We hope you enjoy your stay!"

Izuku suddenly stood and reached up to the compartment that held his belongings. He pulled out a red hiking backpack that had compartments to hold incubators on the sides. That seemed to be all he had.

"You don't have much do you, kid?" Takami asked after grabbing his own things.

Izuku shook his head, "Not really. I don't need a lot at the moment so I packed light." He said, shoving that backpack onto his shoulders.

Takami suddenly handed Izuku a card, "I wish you luck on your journey, kid." He said before disappearing into the crowd.

Izuku couldn't even say anything.

'Guess he had somewhere to be in a hurry.' Izuku thought to himself. He looked down at the card Takami had given him and his breath cough in his throat.

The card read: Elite four-member Hawks - Specializes in Flying and Normal types, mostly of the Avaian variety.

Incase of an emergency contact the 'Nest' at: (XXX) - XXX - XXXX

Izuku looked at the back of the card-

And there it was the elite four symbol. He had just met the second strongest member of the elite four.

There was also something handwritten on the card.

You're an interesting kid. Swing by the 'Nest' on XXX street in Mutustafu City we have a person there that can read your type(s) considering you probably don't know what they are.

Your gonna go far kid, I can tell. You've got a lot of potential. I'll be cheering you on in every broadcasted battle you participate in.

If you need to contact me directly and not the Nest: (XXX) - XXX - XXXX

Good luck future champ!

Izuku had to quickly shake himself out of his stupor. Now was not the time to freak out. He had to find a hotel to stay at tonight and then he could freak out.

His time in Yuuei was already looking to be extremely eventful.

Hopefully, it'll stay the good kind of eventful.

Many of Keigo's friends would call him a moron for giving a random kid he had just met on a plane his personal contact info and authorization to come to the Nest.

And well, they would probably be right.

But there was something about that kid. He was going to do great things, Keigo could feel it- Hell his pokemon could feel it too!

That kid was gonna be great. He would put money on it that if Keigo didn't find him first then someone else would've and they would've done the same thing.

Well, maybe not Endeavor, but he's got his head shoved so far up his ass that his opinion barely matters to anyone at this point.

Either way, Keigo is taking this kid under his wing. He knows the kid isn't a flying type user, even if he can't tell what type of user he is, but fuck it.

The kid is gonna be great. And Keigo is gonna help him out along the way.
