Wendy's P.O.V

Romeo and I began to walk back to the beach since it was already close to 3:00. "Wendy, do you see that?" He asked me. I looked up at the direction he was pointing at. There was a huge crowd of people gathered at the shoreline. "Oh, I wonder what happened..." As the crowd kinda clears up, I see one of our nakamas there.
"I see Natsu-kun and the others!" he shouted. He was right, almost everyone we knew was there. "Let's go!" I say curious. I hope no one was hurt...

I felt him a little slightly behind me as I stopped at my tracks. "Wendy!" Juvia greeted me. "What happened?" Romeo asked. "Levy got caught in the waves.." Gray replied. They parted a bit and I see an unconscious Levy on the sandy floor covered with scratches. Gajeel-kun was pumping air into her chest as he kept on trying to revive her. I almost saw his eyes threatening to pour out tears.

I approached them, "Gajeel-kun, let me help." I say in a quiet voice. He almost ignored me as he kept on pumping her chest, but he slowly stopped as he let me try to heal her.
I kneeled down next to her as I placed my hands above her chest and closed my eyes to concentrate, I feel my hands beginning to warm up. I opened my eyes and she woke up, coughing a bit of water as she breathed in heavenly.

Everyone started sighing in relief knowing she was okay now. I felt drowsy a bit as I tried to stand up, my knees almost collapsed of weakness, "Wendy!" Romeo caught me, I stared up into his eyes. "Hey! Are you okay?" I gave him a weakly nod, I guess my magic was still not strong enough.
"I think it's best if we go back up to our rooms." Jellal said. "I agree, these two needs some rest."
Gajeel-kun carried Levy-san into his arms as Romeo strapped my arm around his neck and wrapped his arm around my waist as I limped back to our hotel.

I was laying on the bed feeling bored. Levy-san was on the bed next to me, we were both in Lucy-san's room since I didn't want to be in the room all alone. But Levy-san was still asleep so I was staring at the ceiling instead.
"Whata staring at?" I almost gasped in surprised when Levy-san talked. Her voice was still kinda quiet, from exhaustion. I smiled at her, "How are you feeling?" She laid back against the pillow, "Still kinda tired..but thank-you, for what you did."
"No problem. Anything for a friend."

She looked at me with a smile, "How are things with you and Romeo?" I giggled slightly, a tint of pink on my cheeks, "We're planning on going on our first date tonight."
Her eyes lit up with excitement, "Where are you going?" I shrugged, "I'm not sure, but I know it will be somewhere breath-taking. Quote from him."
"I'm happy for you guys..If only Gajeel will realize my feelings." She muttered the last part with sarcasm. I laughed.
The rest of the gang must have heard us talking because they opened the door and entered. "Levy-chan!" Lucy-san was the first to enter as she gave Levy-san a bone-crushing hug along with the other girls.

Romeo approached me, "How are you?" I gave him a toothy grin, "I'm feeling better! Can't wait to go on our date tonight."
He smiled at me, "I'm looking forward to it too! Just rest up and we'll go in a few hours." I smile at him as he holds my hand.

It was almost time for our date, I was already dressed up in my most formal dress I have. I wore a hot-pink dress with white ruffles at the bottom. The dress was almost at my knees, to top it off I wore white flats shoes with pink ribbons. I wasn't planning on putting make-up but the girls insisted I put a little bit of lip-gloss.
"Wendy--You look so pretty!" Lucy-san cheered in excitement. "Almost...matured." Erza says. I lightly blush at their compliments. "Thank-you everyone! I hope Romeo likes it..."
"He will!" Levy replies.
"If Romeo doesn't he will receive a word from Juvia!" I smiled.
"And Wendy--" Mira begins. "Have fun!" I nodded my head in agreement.

Then, the door knocked. My ears perked up as the corner of my lips turn up. "That must be him!" I skipped happily to the door as I opened it widely. My breath was taken away as I faced him, he was wearing a nice suit with a blue tie. He was so handsome. "Wendy..." He says. "You look really beautiful..."
"T-Thank-you.." I felt everyone behind me as they erupted in chatter.
"Woah, Romeo! You look all grown-up!" Mira shouts pulling out her camera. "Guys, stand together!"
I went next to him as he wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer.

The girls started giggling like maniacs while I blushed hard. "Say 'young love'!~" I just smiled brightly as she took about 3 pictures. "Okay, that's enough...Now, you guys go and enjoy your date!"
"Now child, you must come back before 9 okay?" Carla says. "I will." I answered. "We'll be back in no time!" After a few good-byes we left our hotel.

As we stepped out the double doors, I immediately felt the cool air on my skin. "Where are we going?" I asked, a hint of curiosity in my voice. He gives me a grin, "I want it to be a surprise." I felt my checks heat up, as he gives me that grin. Those were one of the reasons I fell for him.
Him being really thoughtful and caring to not only me--but our friends and fellow guild-mates too. Before I knew it, we arrived at a cafe. When he opened the door for me I was hit with the smell of freshly made coffee. It felt good to go to a cafe when it was a cool summer weather.

The waiter led us to a little cubby in the corner of the room as she gave us our menus. "I will come back to take your orders." She says, then she left. I slid in my seat as Romeo sat in front of me.
"So, do you like it?"
I looked above my menu as I nodded my head gleefully, "Yeah...I'm glad we can finally go on a date."
"I know...I'm hoping to take you out again before we go back to the guild." I smiled at the thought.

The waiter arrived and asked us what we wanted to eat. "I'll get a croissant with hot chocolate." I say.
"I'll have a scone with hot chocolate as well please." The waiter nodded as he grabbed our menus, "Very well. I will have them served as soon as possible." He walked away.
"Hey Wendy--" I looked at him. "Do you think that any of our nakamas will get together?" I pondered at the thought, it was all obvious that they liked each other so it was possible. "Most likely." I say half-laughing.

We talked all night as our waiter served us our food. It was already 5:15 before we left the cafe and decided to walk around the quiet streets. I held his hand close to me as we walked steadily back to our hotel. "This was such a fun night..." I say quietly. "I don't want it to end so soon.." I heard him smile as I look at him, "Then, lets not make it end now." I looked at him in amusement, "Where are we going?"
"Surprise~" I hear him say once again as his hands cover my eyes. I grab onto his arm as he leads me somewhere.

"We're here now." His breath tickles my ear as I grin widely. "One...Two...Three!" His hand disappears from my eyes as my vision readjusts to the light. A big tree appears in front of me, but the sunset behind it makes the leaves glow in a mysterious way.
"Woah..." I continued to stare at it in awe, I began waking to the tree slowly--"How did you found this place?"
"I saw it on the way." He smiles. "Do you like it?" I looked back at him, "Like it? It's beautiful!" I twirled around in my dress out of happiness and sat on the grass floor, my fingers touching the soft delicate grass. What kind of park has such a beautiful place?

I decided to lay my back against the grass. Romeo slowly made his way next to me and laid down. His arm was under his head as he faced me smiling cheerfully. I snuggled closer to him, my head tucked into his chest. I felt him kiss my forehead, his lips lingering there for just a second. "I love you."

My ears perked up as I sat up, "What?" My face was slowly turning red. He sits up and looks me straight in the eyes. "I love you." He placed his hand on my cheek and I enjoy his warmth. "I...I love you too." I admitted with a smile.
He smiled back as he once again places his lips on mine and we share our second kiss.

I woke up slowly, a yawn escaping my mouth as I rub my eyes. I shifted positions and my eyes met Romeo's face asleep. I smile at his sleeping face as I looked up at the sky...it was dark--Wait, what time was it?
I sat up quickly, we must've fallen asleep under the open sky. I shook his shoulders gently as I whispered for him to get up.
"Mm.." He groaned half-awake. "Romeo! We need to go back!"
"Huh?"
"We were suppose to be back till 9! Carla's going to kill us!" I stood up wiping a few grass off my dress. Romeo, noticing I got up, stood up as well.
"Aw--I forgot!" He grabs my hand, "Come on! We can try sneaking in!" I nod my head in response as I follow him back to our hotel.

I stumbled out of the elevator with Romeo behind me. The hall was silent as usual, "What time is it?" I asked Romeo.
"9:17, wait--do you think she'll actually be mad at us?"
I shrugged my shoulders, "I hope not." We made our way to the girl's suite, I quietly knocked the door just in case if anyone was awake.
No one was answering. I glanced at Romeo.
"Try opening it." I placed my hand on the knob and tried turning it. To my surprise it was open, I slowly pushed the door open but the lights were off. "Where is everyone?" He asked me. I quickly ran to their rooms and it was all empty.

"Don't tell me that they're--" Romeo was interrupted by a loud thump next door. I stared at the door that was connecting our room to the boy's suite. "They're in there?" I muttered. Romeo approached the door with me behind him. I watched him slowly turn the knob and pushed the door opened all the way. My eyes widen as I watch the scene right in front of my eyes.
