Wendy's P.O.V

"Hey, you okay?" I looked up from the ground and met my eyes with Romeo. He gives me a reassuring grin before wrapping an arm around my shoulder.

"I think Jellal-nii and Erza-nee will make up soon. So don't worry anymore hm?"

I smile and melt into his embrace, "Okay, where shall we go?"

Romeo points to a booth that was selling moon cakes, "How about there?"

I nod and he takes me by the hand and we walk over there.

A young girl with a similar kimono as mine smiles and offers a sample of moon cakes. Romeo grabs one and offers one to my lips, I gladly open and let the cream melt onto my tongue.

Usually I wouldn't like these kind of things but for some reason I didn't mind it.

"What do you think we'll do after the festival?" I asked as we walked away from the booth.

"Hm... I don't know - I wonder where Mira-nee will take take us."

"Should we go on another date?" I teased, making Romeo flustered.

"I wouldn't mind that." He smiles.

Suddenly, I see a familar red hairred mage run up to us. It was Erza-nee!

"Romeo! Wendy!" She arrives out of breath and quickly looks around.

"Where's Jellal?"

"We're not exactly sure." I said quietly. "He ran away from us." I was sure that he ran to Erza-nee.

Erza's expression immediately dropped, "He... he ran away?"

"B-But he still might be here!" Romeo says.

Erza smiled the same smile Jellal did when he thought of her, and thanked us before running into the crowd.

Lucy's P.O.V

We had just left our hotel and had already seen the festival in sight. It was really beautiful but what was the point if the person you love wasn't there to share it with you?

"Hey Luuccy~!" The small blue cat called out my name. I looked down at him. "Let's find Natsu!"

I smiled at him, "Thanks for helping Happy, but it seems he wanted to be alone with her."

"No! It was obvious he meant to grab you! Come on~!" He grabbed the strap from my handbag and began pulling.

I let him dragged me. Erza had left just a couple of minutes ago to find Jellal. Earlier she was hesitating because she didn't want to leave me alone.

Flashback ~

"It's fine! Now come on!"

"But-"

"No buts!" I spun her around and began to push her slightly. Her feet was still planted on the ground.

"Okay, Okay." She laughs out, giving up.

I stopped pushing and smiled at her, "Now if you two don't end up together by the end of tonight my efforts will be wasted."

"Thank you, Lucy." She smiled at me before running off to the crowd.

Present ~

"Ah! Look! Lushie! Natsu's right there!" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked up frantically.

"Where...!"

Happy flew up and pointed to one of the booths with his small paw. It took me awhile but I finally spoted a familiar salmon hairred mage.

A smile breaking on my face, I ran to him. I bumped into a few people harshly but continued running. All I could heart was the fast beating of my heart through my ears.

I finally arrived a few meters away from him out of breath.

He was alone.

I approached him with my heart beating even faster. My face was already flushed with exhaust and nervousness.

"Nats-!"

"Natsu~!" A familar mage with white hair grabbed him by the arm, making me stand frozen in place.

His name was still in the tip of my tongue but it just fell out.

"Let's go watch the fireworks!" She purrs.

"But I-" Before he could reply, Lissana pulled him away from the booths.

My shoulders slowly slumped and I felt my heart had broke into a million pieces.

"Lushie! Did you find-?" I heard Happy's voice even before I could turn around.

I fought the tears in my eyes and smiled at Happy, "I-I didn't!" My voice obviously cracking. "Just let me be alone for awhile... please."

Happy nodded slowly at me.

No One's P.O.V

The familar red head ran through the same crowds. She felt like she was going in circles, but she never stopped.

She gasped for a breath when she finally broke through them and darted her head around.

Where is he?

She felt like her heart would collapse from this mental stress.

Until finally, she saw a familar mage with azure hair. Without even thinking, she ran to him with the last bit of energy she had and eloped him in a hug.

"Who-"

"Don't go." Her voice muffles against him. "Please don't leave me."

The air was filled with silence, before he spoke, "Erza-" Jellal attempts to loosen her grip to face her, but her arms won't budge. "Erza... Let go-"

"No." She says firmly but quietly, her words lingering in the air. "I know this is selfish. I started becoming selfish when I fell in love with you but I tried holding it in and-" Another tear falls from her eyes as the air continued to linger in silence.

Jellal embraces the broken mage's arms with comfort. "I too became selfish after loving you. I became greedy and wanted to be with you but I couldn't."

Erza finally turned him around to face her, and smiled - "Sometimes we become a little greedy. But you need to give yourself a little attention sometimes or else you'll break completely."

The blue hairred man, places a hand on her cheek and smiles, "Then I guess I'll become greedy and be with the woman I love." He looks into her eyes. "Erza Scarlett, I've been in love with you since the first time I locked eyes with you. You were brave, confident and would do anything to protect those dear to you."

"Though I know I couldn't ever deserve someone like you, will you allow me to stay by your side until time runs out?"

Erza stares at him and a big grin forms on her face, "Yes. Only if you allow me to stay by yours."

He lets out a deep chuckle and leans toward her face, "I love you, Erza Scarlett."

"As do I, Jellal Fernandez."

Their lips touch and such an overwhelmed feeling flows through the two. In the background, fireworks explode and light up the night sky, as if the heavens were also celebrating this day.
