This book will be very short, that means, it will becoming to an end soon. I am not sure about a fourth book, because it depends on how this book'll end. But~, when the last chapter comes, i'll tell you my decision. Also, the ending won't be normal..........I'm serious.

Chapter 14: Beginning to change

NATSU'S POV

I felt a stare on my face, and I lift my eyelids to see Lucy staring at me. Oh right, I forgot I was sleeping with her.

"You're awake! Morning." she said.

"Greet me with a smile, will ya?" I said in my husky morning voice. I knew I shouldn't have said that, because then I saw her sad face.

"Oh, sorry." I said, as I got up into a sitting position and held her close to me.

"No, I am. I can't be the old me!" she said.

"Shhhhh, it's okay. It'll come back, cause you're changing still." I said. Damn, I'm such an idiot.

AT THE GUILD

Lucy and I walked to the guild, watching people as we passed by. She didn't look different, but she certainly felt different. We entered the guild, and Master came up to us.

"Hey Lucy, are your powers still with you? I mean, your celestial god slayer spells and your spirits." he asked.

"I know my spirits will always be with me! I'm just not to sure about the other." she replied.

"Then how about we find out now?" he asked. I looked at him with a confused face, like really? What does he think he's doing?

"Sure." said Lucy. We all went to the training field behind the guild.

"Who wants to fight her first?" asked Gramps.

"Gosh, I swear, this is deja vu." muttered Gray.

"Since no one is coming, how about you call out one of your spirits first, to check?" asked Master.

"Right! Gate of the lion, Leo!" chanted Lucy, and oh, how I missed her saying that. Speaking of missed, I missed a lot of things about her.

"Lucy~! You're back!!!" exclaimed Loke, as he engulfed his master in a hug. Her little face was in bewilderment. Meanwhile, you could say I was burning with jealousy.

"G-get of me Loke! Of course I am!" she said, as she did her famous 'Lucy kick'. I nodded my head in acknowledgement.

"Yep. That's proof that she's back." said Erza and Loke in unison. After awhile of talking with him, he went back.

"Now that's sorted out, how about we have some one attack Lucy? Erza? How about you?" asked Master. Erza sighed.

"I was trying to avoid that in case I hurt her." she said.

"Erza, go all out. We'll se just how much Lucy is back." said Master. I did a 'Are you kidding me' face. Is he for real? Impossible, he can't tell Erza to go all out! Lucy will get hurt for sure!

I turned to see if Lucy had a nervous look, but she looks just as confident! Why?

I saw Erza's silhouette flash past me, and I saw her running towards Lucy with two swords at hand. Did Lucy even remember how to use a sword? Or how to counter it?!!!!

My heart rate became at rest when I saw Lucy dodge the attack and jump away. She summoned a sword from a...................KEY?!!!!

"A key? Wha...?" I asked in surprise. Everyone else was surprised as well. Lucy swung the sword, and it immediately started leaving traces of lightning. Erza immediately changed into her lightning empress armor once she saw the lightning.

Lucy clashed swords with her, before tangling Erza's hand and sword together with hers to what seems to be thin wires! Lucy ducked down low with her hand still intertwined, and swiped kick Erza, who stumbled.

Lucy let go and jumped back, summoning 4 spears, and aimed for Erza. Then she flung them but they didn't hit target, as the landed elsewhere. Erza changed back into her heart kreuz armor.

"She has no aim!" exclaimed Happy.

Erza ran forward, but as soon as she moved, her stomach got a thin slit, and so did her arm. Her face was in shock, but she looked at Lucy.

"Celestial God's secret death." she said silently. Erza moved her leg and it got a slit as well. The sun's  light shone and we saw a thin string, no........wire! They were everywhere!

"I see! The first time she summoned that sword, it had special wires on it! And the spears she flew earlier went to attach the wires! But how exactly are they related to a celestial god?" asked Master.

Erza was able to snap a few wires and landed in front of Lucy, who smirked. All the wires lit up with electricity and targeted Erza. Lucy stepped back as she did a hand sign, causing the electricity to gather onto Erza.

Next thing you know, Erza got shocked. She was fooled out of the lightning empress armor, then attacked later. All that consisted of one spell! And the wires were from that spell, because when they were snapped, more thin lines attached onto Erza creating more wires by itself.

"Wow. All that is just----!!" exclaimed Gray.

Lucy cut the spell and released Erza, who was out of breath.

"Sorry.........." she apologized, "But you scared me."

"It's okay darling, now, will you please help me up?"

We all decided that Lucy's power were certainly at it's peak. It was quite weird, because why would her powers be present and not her personality? Besides, she is not stable enough for that immense strength!

However, she hasn't been showing any physical  signs of pain, and I thanked god for that.

Lucy and Levy sat at the bar talking. I don't know what they were talking about, but I wish I did. I sat down, thinking hard.

"Why're you so serious?" asked Gray.

"I'm just thinking about what I should get Lucy for her birthday." I muttered, my eyes still focused on empty air.

"You do know that her birthday is all the way in July? It's the first day. We're still in June, early June!" said Erza.

"I want to make it special............that's why I'm starting now." I replied.

"Wow, looks like you really want to give her something." said Wendy, as she nodded her head in approval.

"Of course. I just want to spend that day with her, and make she sure is as happy as ever!" I smiled. I meant it. I want to give her something, and I'm really looking forward to seeing the smile on her face!

July 1, huh?

The date is scaring me..........................

I got up from my seat, and looked at Lucy. Should I give it another shot? I could try, and it wouldn't hurt. Maybe I should. She'll definitely be back to normal soon!

LUCY'S POV

Natsu walked up to me, looking a bit.....nervous. I became curious, when he asked me to speak with him alone. I agreed, and here we are now, seated somewhere outside, which is always the place he takes me.

"Why do you want to talk with me?" I asked in confusion.

"Lucy......do you still love me?" he asked. I was confused. Why would he ask such a question?

"Of course!" I said.

"So........are we still together?" he asked again. The back of my head was hesitating, and I know it. Should I say yes? I don't want to make him sad again if I get hurt. Maybe I should-----------

"Forget it." he said a bit angrily as he got up.

"Wait!" I called out, as I got up too, "Why are you going?"

"You clearly had hesitation in your eyes! I'm not going to be a fool to be told no." he said, "Why?"

"It's......not something you'll understand." I said, shifting from one foot to another.

"Is it another guy? Is it me? Tell me, Lucy." he begged.

"Natsu, I hesitated because.........what if I get hurt again? I'll only make you sad and I don't want that! I don't want to hurt you........" I said. Natsu sighed.

"Lucy, that will never happen, because i'll protect you, forever."

"Really?"

"Cross my heart, hope to die, stick a needle in my eye." said Natsu confidently. I shook my head.

"Do you even know where those words came from?" I asked.

"No..........." he said.

"Sill boy." I muttered, "You'll find out soon."

This left him confused, but he didn't have a say when I walked back inside and called for him. He ran over immediately, then we sat with the rest of the team. I felt bored, like, really bored. Natsu sensed my uneasiness and laughed.

"What's wrong Luce?" he asked.

"I'm bored................." I whined.

"How about we do a job? If it'll make you feel better." informed Erza. I raised my head, to indicate that I'm listening.

"We can probably do a simple one." said Gray. Happy flew over to the request board and scanned the choice of jobs. He did a 'aha!' sound and grabbed a paper.

"How 'bout this one?" he asked, flying over.

"Hmmmmm, seems legit enough." said Natsu, as he read the paper.

"What do we have to do?" asked Wendy.

"Catch a cat!" said Natsu. We all sweat dropped. I knew something should have been up the moment Happy chose the job.

"Fine, we've got no choice anyways." I huffed.

Everyone agreed half heartedly, not really eager on catching a............cat.

Sorry, I know, this chapter was really short. I had writer's block!

Next Chapter: We can all have fun; the second date!

Preview: The job is not as easy as it sounds, when everyone is going up and down to find one cat. However, what they're trying to do, is to make Lucy happy without her realizing and to help her smile. Natsu then decides to take her out on a second date, and Lucy agrees.

THIS next chapter is kind of like a filler before I figure out how to lengthen my plot of ending the book.
