Chapter 63: The QB's Princess

🔥🌶️ SPICY KISSING SCENE 🌶️🔥

The practicum at the WICKED Medical and Research Hospital sparked a fire in Emily like she hadn't experienced before. She couldn't wait to go back. Every day in the bus she practically vibrated and Miss Marry had to drag her away each afternoon.

Dr. Leavitt sang her praises, he came a few times to see how the bio class was doing. The nurse in charge of handing out the assignments started giving Emily and Jeff harder tasks and less supervision, and by the end of the practicum the nurse had pulled both of them aside and told them if they needed a reference for university she would gladly give them one, and that she hopes they both pursued carriers in the medical or science fields.

Emily was floating high for the next two weeks. She was hurried in homework, and now with the practicum and working out the internship details, and trying to find time to train, and still eat and sleep. And Sonya wanted to get going on grad dress shopping. Minho was hardly home with practices almost every day.

So finally the Friday before the big game, Emily had pulled some of her notes out and was studying on the floor of Minho's room, waiting for him to shower, their friends were coming over for pizza and a bonfire, nothing wild, or late, but this was their last game in highschool together. So Minho had asked if it was okay to have some of the guys over.

Emily did her best to get into the social mood, she was doing better these last two weeks, just because she was still riding the high of that practicum at the hospital. Bear was off duty and was on a walk with Mama and Papa Lee. Jorge was working at the gym, ever since their presentation the amount of new comers had increased, and the gym was thriving.

Emily had her bio text book in her lap and was sitting on the floor, her notes spread out infront of her. She heard the shower turn off. A few minutes later Minho came out with his damp hair perfectly styled, his jeans sitting low on his hips and a towel around his shirtless shoulders.

She looked up from her notes, a pen tucked behind her ear, her glass skidding down her nose, and a highlighter kid between her teeth, "Showoff." Emily grumbled at him. She bit her lip to keep from smiling, and she could feel her cheeks heating up.

"Only for you. But...if you wanna take yours off too and feel better...by all means ..." He said slyly, giving her a cheeky smile.

She threw the stack of sticky notes at him and rolled her eyes. "It's a good thing I like you."

"Yes. Yes it is." He walked over and sat down in the desk chair behind her. Emily leaned back against his legs and leaned her head back; so she was looking up at him outside down.

"How are you doing, Thunder Cat?" She asked quietly.

"Doing okay actually." He admitted, "Thought I'd be more ... emotional or sentimental or something...but I'm doing okay."

He pulled her hair away from her face and neck and he gathered it in his lap. Minho gently tugged her glasses off and placed them on his desk. She kept still, just watching him upsidedown. He slowly leaned over and kissed her forehead. And then down her nose and finally kissed her lips. She reached up and pulled the back of his head closer, deeping the kiss, he slid his tongue into her mouth and forced a small moan. He pulled away just slightly to whisper.

"Don't start something you can't finish Fitz."

"I'll start it all day, Thunder Cat." She whispered back, a small smirk on her lips.

"Them be dangerous words!"

"I live a dangerous life."

• TIME TO SKIP •

He hummed and kissed her hard again, making her squeak. His hands had her face for a second and then ran down her neck and then down to her collarbone and slowly down her chest. He was slow and teasing, her hands buried more into his hair and the back of his neck and pulled him closer. She felt his chest rumble in a satisfying hum. His hands slid further, now fully down the front of her top. With her back bent back, her head tipped back Minho had a clear view and access to her chest, especially with the lower cut neckline of the summer dress she wore.

They kissed hot and heavy until Emily couldn't breath anymore. Minho's hands were needy and becoming slightly desperate. Emily picked her head up off his knees and slowly turned. One strap of her dress had slipped off her shoulder. She got up onto her knees in front of him and looked up at him nervously.

Minho was looking at her hungerly and yet still gently. His eyes were dark, and a muscle in his jaw was twitching. His chest was rising and falling rapidly. He reached for her face holding her jaw line. He pulled her closer rather abruptly, making her tip forwards. Her hands landed on his upper thighs, he made a groaning moaning noise in the back of his throat. Emily's heart skipped a beat at the noise. His thumbs brushed her cheeks and her hands slid higher up his legs. Minho kissed her more urgently. Her hands slid up his abs and chest and back down, feeling how the muscles tensed and flexed, and when she ran her fingers over his skin he shivered and moaned slightly.

She slid them lower, and hooked her finger into the beltline of his jeans.

"Em!" He gasped, pulled away. His gasp turned into more of a whimper when she undid the button of his jeans.

"I've ...never...I don't really know..." She stammard, as she slowly and hesitantly ran her fingers over him.

Minho was just about hyperventilating, "me either." He some how managed to get out. His voice was dry and gravelly, like he had lost it.

He slid his hands into her hair, holding it back. His eyes rolled and his head flopped back, leaning into the chair. Emily had no idea what she was doing, but the curses and whimpers and moans that came from Minho made her believe she was doing something right. His hands dug into her hair, tangling deeper and deeper into her curls. His breathing was wild ragged gasps, his entire body was tensed and shaking.

"Shuck! Emmy...dammit! Em..." His body went ridged with a groan and then he melted. His eyes fluttered shut and he deflated. "Wholly shuck, Emily." He moaned. He peeled his eyes open and looked at her. Her hair was a disaster, and she had a sheepish unsure look on her face as she tried to wipe her chin.

He reached for her and pulled her closer, cupping her face, "I love you." He kissed her gently. "My turn next." He whispered against her lips.

"People will be over soon."

"Fine." He kissed her gently again.

"Your okay?" She asked quietly, "that was-"

"Shucken amazing? The hottest thing ever? Like heaven on earth? You got some serious deadly magic woman. Like dangerous scary. But shuck I love you. Anything and everything about you is amazing."

She blushed hard. "I need to clean up now. You made a mess of my hair." She slowly stood up.

• SAFE TO READ AGAIN •

"I think your beautiful."

She smiled shyly and left his room and scurried to hers. She washed her face and brushed her hair, she had to put a few curls back in with her curling iron, and redid her minimal make up.

"Hey! Girl, where you at?"

"Bathroom!"

Sonya poked her head in. She survived Emily for a second and then she smirked. Emily froze and narrowed her eyes. Sonya smirk grew into a smug knowing look. She leaned on the door frame and folded her arms.

"Tell me all the juicy details!"

"How the shuck do you do it? How can you tell?"

"Please girl!" Sonya waved her hand and rolled her eyes, like she was the master at this and this question was too easy. "First, Minho still looks dazed and slightly confused, if I asked him what colour the sky is he'd answer with your name. Like all those lame Saturday morning cartoons when the boy falls in love; your boy legit has heart eyes. And your all flushed, with the same look in your eye. It's the cutest thing I've ever seen! He's so...smitten about you!"

Emily tried to scowl at her best friend, but it didn't work. Sonya raised an eyebrow and waited. Emily rolled her eyes but caved and told her.

"Seriously, you know way to much about me." Emily grumbled.

"Please. I know way too much about everyone. I could probably black mail the whole school." She stopped and looked at Emily, "Your boy doesn't have any kinks does he?"

Emily shrugged, "never explored that side...it scares me. Still brand new to this. Why?"

"Well...looking for black mail possibilities duh. Doesn't matter." Sonya waved a hand. "That boy would never break your heart, so no real need to worry. Now come on, it's kinda chilly out by the fire. That dress is cute an' all, but you're gonna get cold." Emily changed quickly and went to join the others outside in the backyard. Everyone seemed to show up at once; Thomas and Newt, Gally and Sonya, Frypan came with Rachel, Jeff and Clint came.

The pizza and snacks showed up with Mama and Papa Lee. Bear joined the party as a regular dog, who got all the belly rubs his heart could handle. Minho was super hands all evening, hand on her back, rubbing her thighs, making her sit on his lap, kissing her cheek or temple. Sonya and Newt kept shooting her smirks.

The kareoke was on fire. The guys all blew Sonya, Emily and Rachel with a well practiced routine to Get Your Head in the Game from High School Musical, which had Emily rolling on the ground in tears. There was good food, good laughs, lots of pictures and memories were made. This was a kind of party Emily could handle, her group of friends, food, fire and laughs.

By 11, Minho started shoing people out, their game was at 1pm, they needed sleep and rest for the championship game. And as captain, he needed to set an example. The guys all helped clean up and then waved goodbye and sent them on their way.

Emily and Minho stood in the door waving good bye, his arm around her and her arm around his waist.

"Come on Thunder Cat. Let's get you to bed." Emily yawned.

She snuggled into his chest, his arms around her, fingers playing with her hair as she slowly started to slid into the sweet seduction of sleep.

"Thank you." He whispered suddenly, waking her up a bit.

She peeled her eyes open, "for what?"

"Keeping my mind off tomorrow. Every other year it's been an uncomfortable and awful night before, could hardly sleep...pacing the house and not knowing what to do, I'd sit and go over plays, watch old games... This year. I had fun with my team...with you. You remind me life is short and life is hard and it's okay to have fun. Work hard, play harder."

She hummed, "and sleep hardest." She yawned.

"Yes." He chuckled softly. "Also, sorry I couldn't really keep my hands off you. I'll- I'll work on that..."

"No." She said sleepy, shifting to see him now, "no...I like when your hands. Love it actually." She gave him a soft sleepy smile.

"Oh? You do you?" He asked, his eyebrow raised and a smug smile formed in his face.

"You know what it makes me feel like?"

"No, tell me." He murmured, nuzzling his nose into her.

"Makes me feel like your girl. Makes me feel like I'm loved and wanted. I've been neglected and abused, I've been told I'm useless and not good enough. But you make all those ghosts go away, all the hissing poisones voices from my past quiet."

"Emily ..." She hear his voice getting choked up. She felt his arms tighten. "I'll tell you...you are my shucken girl!"

"Hmm. I'm the superstars girl." She giggled quietly.

"Shucken rights. The Quarter backs girl...my girl an' I ain't ever letting you go. I'll remind you all day every day."

Emily hummed, closing her sleepy eyes and feeling safe and secure in Minho's arms, snuggled in his bed. He gently brushed his lips against her forehead.

"Sorry for waking you baby."

He kissed the top of her head this time and let her drift into sleep.

Emily waited in the rediculously busy parking lot by the door waiting for her group. The Lee's and Jorge and the Isaac's went to save seats while she waited for her group of friends. Bear sat quiet and patiently beside her. She didn't have to wait long, she spotted Sonya and Newt. She waved and called.

They elbowed their way over and gave her a big hug. They waited some more for Jeff, Clint, and Rachel. Which didn't take long. Nick, Harriet and Aris also asked if they could sit with them. Emily couldn't believe other people she hardly interacted with wanted to hang out with her.

They waited for Jeff and Clint now as a group of the other teams fans passed. She recognized them immediately. Emily's eyes went wide and her hands started to shake. She grabbed Sonya's arm to keep from passing out.

"Em?" She asked, her face asking the silent question. Emily didn't need to answer the group stopped, they had recognized her.

"Little Emily?" One girl asked.
"No, that can't be our Cinderella."
"The Emily I remembers wouldn't be aloud out, and she's not in rags on her knees scrubbing toilets."

"Umm, can we help you?" Sonya sniffed and looked at them.

"Who are you?"

"Someone who wants to know what you want with my best friend."

"Wait, Emily, you have friends?"
"Who would want to be friends with you?"

"All of us and half the bloody football team." Newt said sharply, folding his arms.

"Ha. Unlikely. You couldn't even say three words in a row. Still can't."

"You can keep moving along." Rachel snapped, stepping up beside Sonya.

"Yes. We're here for football not pick on Emily. Move along." Nick added. He had an authority that made people listen, probably why he was a great student president.

"Where's your sister?"

"On the field with the cheerleaders." Emily said quietly. Her hands were still shaking and she was very pale.

"Well..it was fun running into you little Cinderella."

"You do know that Cinderella marries the prince and then becomes the Queen of the land." Aris added.

The girl opened and closed her mouth and frowned.

"Ya, that's what I thought. Run along." Sonya said waving her hand.

The group left. And Emily deflated.

"Guys...meet my old bullies."

"Well, clearly their all a bunch of shuckfaces. Cinderella becomes the Queen. She gets the last laugh. You're the QB's girl. You get the last laugh." Sonya hooked her arm, "come on. Let's go get a snack and get to our seats."

Sonya dragged Emily beside them and everyone else just followed, chatting happily behind them. It still didn't make any sense to Emily. Why would random people like Harriet and Aris and Nick and Rachel all just join their group and stick up for her. As they walked through the crowd people from her different classes would wave and call out to them.

"Why the confused face?" Sonya asked.

"People are willingly talking to me."

"Uhh ya. 'Cause they may kind of actually like you. It's called being friendly and some might go so far as calling you a friend."

"It's so weird. Why?"

"You have done nothing horrible to them. Your kind and polite, your in advanced classes which means the other people in those classes are similar to you, so your an equale to them. Your also dating Mr Superstar King of the school, which makes you Miss Superstar Queen of the school."

"Also, after that business presentation, people started to search you and found your fights online...." Nick added from behind with a smirk.

"Oh..."

"Emily, girl, stop over thinking it. We all love you. You don't have to be best bloody friends, just be yourself." Newt scolded with affection.

"Full of anxiety and awkwardness?"

"Yes." Sonya said. "Now come on!"

Their group found their seats, the adults had saved seats for them, and now they filed in, right at the front. Mama and Papa Lee, Mr and Mrs Isaac, Jorge.

"Hey Miss Mary." Emily smiled and waved to her bio teacher. She smiled and waved back. She was sitting beside Jorge and laughing.

"I think your gonna have a godmother soon." Sonya whispered.

"Still kinda weird." Emily muttered back.

The noise of the crowd grew and they had to stop talking. The camera men ran back and forth, trying to catch each angle. The cheerleaders and marching band came out of the tunnel to do a quick pregame show. Unfortunately, they were really good.

"It's annoying how good they are." Rachele complained.

"Didn't you get out?"

"Yeah, every year. But they said I didn't...have the right look." She rolled her eyes.

"What, bitchy?" Sonya asked.

They all burst into giggles.

"True. Good riddance. I got on with another rec team. So whatever." Rachele shrugged.

The announcer then came out with the cheerleaders standing making a line for the team.

"Welcome to today's Championship Game! We have the CrankHigh Raiders-"

There was a lot of booking and hissing as the team came running out of the tunnel and over to their bench.

"-and the Glade Academy Warriors!"

The crowd scream, cheered, clapped and whooped. Bells changed, horns blasted, and screams drowned out the announcer for a second.

"Gladers, get on your feet! And welcome your home team! Going back to back winning the championship and her to secure the third one, here- ARE- YOUR- WARRIORS!"

The team came running out to thunderus applouse.

"AND NOW! HERE ARE YOU STARTING SENORS!"

The announcer called each ayer who was graduating at the end of the Year. The crowd got louder and loud, fireworks went off for each player announced. There was some loud epic pump up music and then...

".aaannnnnd NOW! HERE IS YOUR STARTING QUARTER BACK, HES LED THIS TEAM TO MORE VICTORIES THAN ANY OTHER QUARTER BACK. HE'S LED THIS TEAM TOO TWO CHAMPION SHIPS, AND NOW... FOR THE LAST TIME IN THIS STADIUM...GET ON YOUR FEET WARRIORS AND MAKE SOME NOISE FOR YOUR CAPTAIN....MIIIIINHOOOK LEEEEEEE!"

If there was a roof on the stadium it would have been blown off. It was so incredibly loud and wild. The crowd went nuts, there was fire works and the cheer team, the rest of the team.... Mama Lee was crying, Emily was crying, she reached out and held Mama Lee's hand.

The seniors on the team all held their helmets up in the air, and bowed to the crowd, in a thanks for your support. Minho turned and ran over to them, followed by Thomas and Gally, and Fry. Minho leapt up grabbing the bar and pulled himself up, he pulled his mom into a tight hug. The crowd was wild, watching, the cameras zoomed in.

Minho let go and turned to Emily. He grabbed the back of her head and pulled her and crashed his lips against hers. She laughed against his lips. She was aware of the camera in her face. But Minho, made her head spin and she forgot that the entire stadium was watching.

"Kiss the quarter back for good luck!"

"Go get 'em Thunder Cat!" She smiled so big her cheeks hurt. "I'm so proud of you."

"I love you Emily Victoria Fitz!"

"Love you too Minho Lee, King Superstar of the school! Go win a football game baby."

He pulled away with the biggest grin and kept back down. The other guys had all hugged their moms and kissed their girls- well Newt in Thomas's case.

The crowd loved it.

"That'll show all your old bullies, hey?" Sonya laughed. "You're the QB's Princess."
