You've heard of fairy tales. You've heard of The Maze Runner. What happens when it's mashed together?

When Emily's mother dies when she was only a year, by a drunk driver coming home from her night shift at the hospital, her father is left to raise an infant. He eventually remarries hoping for a mother for his ten year old daughter. What he didn't expect was cancer to ravage his body.

Emily is now left with a step mother and step sister at the age of 12, who are starting to treat her like a real life Cinderella.

Her step mother moved them across town, closer to her work, which means a new school, new friends, and possibly new opportunities.

Trying to keep her dads boxing gym running, with the help of her godfather, her step mother trying to get her greedy hands on her inheritance and her step sister making her life miserable, Emily is just trying to get through her last year of high school, so she can get into nursing school and get away from her Step mother.

What she didn't except were new friends who rocked her world. And a boy. The Quarterback and captain of the football team, to be exact.

Can her life turn out like a fairy tale or will it crash and burn?
