Erza slammed the doors to the guild open. "Is Master Makarov here?" She demanded as she entered the guild hall. Mira walked over. "You're finally back from your island getaway. So how was it? Did you have fun?" Mira asked. "It was work. Not a vacation" Erza said sternly. "Uh, Mirajane, I wouldn't joke with her right now" you said as you smiled nervously. "Where is Makarov?" Erza asked again. "He went out of town for some kind of last minute Council meeting or something like that. He's been gone since yesterday" Macao said. All of them sighed. "Whew" they said. "Well that was a close one" Natsu said. "Yes, we won't have to deal with that until Gramps gets back" Gray said. Happy cried tears of joy. "Oh thank goodness. I wasn't ready to stare into the fate of death. I've still got eight more lives" he said. "I can't stand it anymore. You guys are really freaking me out. How's he gonna punish us? I can't die now. I'm still young and I have so much more to look forward to!" Lucy said. "All of you, shut up!" Erza shouted. They all gasped. "Do you know when the master is planning to return?" She asked. "No, but I would imagine he'll be coming back anytime now" Mira said. Erza turned around. "Now listen up, you fools. You're not getting off the hook. You broke guild rules by taking on that S Class quest. Prepare to be punished" Erza said.

Natsu and Gray hugged each other whimpering. "How do I prepare myself when I don't know what's gonna happen?!" Lucy asked. "Well, it was nice knowing you. It's a crying shame. Those two boys are one thing, but I can't believe Lucy is getting punished too. Oh, you poor girl" Wakaba said. Lucy sweat dropped. "You poor girl?" She asked. "What's the deal, man? How come you don't feel sorry for us huh?" Natsu asked. "Why're you lumping me in with this loser?" Gray asked as Natsu and Gray marched over to him. Natsu punched Gray. "What's that supposed to mean?" He asked. Gray hit him. "It means I don't even want to be in the same sentence as you" Gray said. Natsu punched him. "Do I have to draw you a picture?" He asked. Suddenly the two began to fight in a magic brawl. "A big part of a man is owning up to your actions. You hear that you two? It's high time for you to man up" Elfman said. Happy cried as he flew in the air. "It's not fair. I'm the cutest one here. So how come nobody feels sorry for me?" He asked. "Would somebody please tell me what's gonna happen to us?!" Lucy asked.

Time Skip

"That's one creepy looking job request" you said as you looked at a job request on the board that said "Read This" on the top and in the middle of what appeared to be a triangle shape was some kind of ancient writing that looked like some kind of spell. "Yeah, it is" Gray said in agreement as he looked at the piece of paper on the board. Loke then walked over. "You guys are back, what's up?" He asked. "Not much man. What the heck? I can't even read it" Natsu said. Loke gasped as he suddenly noticed you next to them. "Whoa! You're back too, (Y/n)?!" He asked in a panic. You glared at him. "Geez. It's real nice to see you too. What is your problem with me?" You asked. Loke sweat dropped nervously. "I- uh- nothing!" Loke said as he began to run away but accidentally crashed into Erza who was walking over to the request board. "No way" she said. "You two will not be taking any requests" Erza said as she glared at Gray and Natsu. "Real smooth" Lucy said sarcastically as she saw Loke lying unconscious on the floor. "Do they have to be so noisy?" Cana asked. "Who cares? They are like the coolest" Romeo said. Cana looked at him in disbelief. "You're kidding me, right?" She asked. Natsu had taken off the piece of paper from the board and held it with his hands as he read the intrusions. "Decipher this text and I'll see that you'll, increase your wealth by five hundred thousand jewel" Natsu said as he read off the paper.

Natsu smiled at Happy. "This one sounds like a winner to me" he said. "What do you think?" He asked. "Sure does" Happy said. "So it's a translation job? That's a weird request for a guild. Wait, that's some kind of crazy ancient stuff. No one's gonna be able to read that" Gray said. "Hold on, it's written in modern letters too" Happy said. "I thought I told you, no job" Erza said with her arms crossed. "Oh yeah, I can totally read that" Natsu said. "Let's see, "Ugo Deru Rasuchi bora kania" Natsu said as he read the words off of the paper. Natsu put both of his hands on his head. "What the?! That's crazy!" He said. Suddenly a bright rainbow light glowed from the paper and you, Gray, Natsu and Loke all froze. "What's going on?" Macao asked. "That's just sad. Those kids are so scared of the master's punishment they're actually sweating rainbows" Wakaba said. "That's enough booze for you" Macao said as he sweat dropped. "So cold!" You said as you shivered. "What? Ice wizards don't get cold you big crybaby" Elfman said. You began shivering like crazy. "I'm serious you guys, could somebody turn up the heat before I freeze to death in here? Pretty please?" You begged. "Huh?" Everyone asked in confusion. Gray gasped. "What the?! What's going on? My chest feels really weird all of a sudden. Like it's heavy. My back's killing me" Gray said. "Hey, are you feeling alright (Y/n)? Your voice seems awfully low..." Macao said. "What are you talking about? I-" before you could finish, you saw Gray inside of your body in severe pain.

"What the?!" You asked. Natsu woke up from the floor now inside of Loke. "That's weird. I don't remember lying down on the floor like that" he said as he slowly stood up. "Hold on. I thought I was the one who was on the floor" Loke said as he was suddenly standing up. Loke then looked down at Gray and saw both sets of your gate keys on his belt. Loke screamed and ran out of the guild hall. "What's your problem? You can't face me, dragon breath?" Gray asked. Gray looked at your hands. "Why do I sound like a girl?" He asked. Macao sweat dropped. "I'm not doctor but I'd say it's probably 'cause you are a girl" he said. "Why is everyone behaving so foolishly?" Erza asked in Happy's small cat body as she stood on the table. "Oh wow, Natsu. Check it out!" Happy said in Erza's body. He looked around. "Where did he go?" Happy asked. "I'm standing right here. Why is this place so dark?" Natsu asked as he looked around. "I could be wrong but I really don't think I've always had these. Have I? Have I?" Happy asked as he squeezed his new boobs. "Whoa" the guys said as they blushed. Erza gasped. "Why you!" She said angrily as she attempted to land a kick on Happy but froze in shock at how strong he was now. "Hey, and I got cool armor too" Happy said as Erza fell to the floor. Erza shook as she stood on the floor. "I don't understand what's happened to me. I've never felt so tiny and weak before. It's like I've somehow requipped into a cat" Erza said. "Why do they have to ruin my quality drinking time?" Cana asked. "They're so cool they couldn't ruin anything" Romeo said.

Cana sweat dropped. "Kinda their thing" she said. The rest of the guild gasped as they realized what had actually happened. "Okay, I'm starting to get really freaked out. First I'm totally freezing and now there's some sort of creepy look alike of me?" You asked. "What are you talking about?" Gray asked. "How can you be such an idiot. Don't you realize what has happened to us? We've all switched bodies" Erza said. You gasped in shock. "What?!" All of you asked. Natsu kneeled on the floor next to Erza. "Stop fooling around, Happy" he said. "I'm Erza, you dimwit!" Erza shouted. Natsu gasped. "If you're gonna yell at me, Loke, at least do it to my face!" Happy yelled. "Silence!" Erza said. "You mean..." you asked. "Yes, Natsu and Loke, Gray and (Y/n), and worst of all, Happy and I. We have all switched bodies" Erza said. "Huh?!" The entire guild asked.

"Why is switching with me the worst of all?" Happy asked. Makarov stood in the doorway to the guild hall. "The ancient unpela spell has been cast. You kids aren't feeling like yourselves today, huh?" He asked. "Master, you're back" Erza said as she walked over to him. "Gramps" Natsu said as the rest of you walked over. "I had noticed that request on the board. By reading what was written on that page aloud you've cast a powerful spell of personality transference. And that spell is called The Changeling" Makarov said. "That sounds scary" you said. "So you're really Natsu, right?" Gray asked. "Yeah..." Natsu said. Gray grabbed Natsu by the neck. "You idiot! What did you do to us?!" He asked. "Me?! All I did was try to read the stupid job request! Would someone please turn on the lights?! Come on!" Natsu said. "That's enough (Y/n)- uh, Gray. For wizards, this spell switch is more than just your bodies. It switches magic as well" Makarov said. "What?!" All of you asked.

Time Skip

"There's one thing you should know. If The Changeling spell is not undone within 30 minutes from the time when it was initially cast, you will never return to the way you were before. Or so says the legend at least" Makarov said. "What?!" You all asked. "Do you know how many minutes we've been mixed up for?" Natsu asked. "16. So you have 14 left" Mira said. "Gramps, isn't there a way to lift the spell and change us back?" Natsu asked. "Hmm... since this is such an ancient magic, it would only stand to reason that I... don't know" Makarov said. "Oh no" you said. "I must say I'm disappointed. I was so looking forward to punishing you. But it looks like you've got your hands full for now. Best of luck to you kids" Makarov said as he walked away.

Gray grabbed your shirt in an attempt to pull it off. "Alright, that does it! I can't take this anymore!" He said. The males all gasped as they started blushing. "No!" You cried. You ran over and held Gray. "Get ahold of yourself!" You said. "Let go!" Gray shouted. "So, even though Gray's in (Y/n)'s body, he still likes to take off his clothes. Then that means..." Happy said. "That means what?" Erza asked. "No, Happy!" Erza said. "This'll be awesome!" Happy said. "Okay, here I go!" Happy said. "Happy, stop this at once!" Erza said. A golden light began to cover Happy's body. "Requip! Check me out, you guys. Yay!" Happy said. "Uppa!" Happy said. Suddenly Happy appeared in a fishing outfit holding a fishing rod and wearing two pigtails. "Ta Da!" Happy said.

Elfman, Wakaba and Macao all blushed. "Whoa! Erza looks smoking hot!" They said. "How dare you!" Erza said as she attempted to punch Happy but crashed into his back and fell to the floor. "No. This can't be. I was an S Class wizard and now I'm so weak" Erza said as she shook on the floor. "Man, I was trying to change into one of those cool suits of armor she has..." Happy said in disappointment. "I see, we switched our magic with each other, but everyone totally stinks at it" Natsu said. "Hey Loke- or whoever's inside him" Wakaba said. Natsu glared at him. "Geez, it's me Natsu, okay?" He asked. "Have you figured out what magic he uses?" Wakaba asked. Natsu gasped. "Yeah, be a man kid, show us" Elfman said. Natsu sweat dropped. 'I don't know. I don't feel anything happening magic wise. Everything just kind of seems fuzzy' Natsu thought.

"I don't think I can take this pressure anymore!" Natsu said. Loke ran into the guild hall with fire falling out of his mouth. "Hey guys! You gotta help me!" He said as he ran up to everyone. "What's with that fire?" Macao asked. "It's like he's drooling" Elfman said. "Well that's certainly not threatening" Mira said. "I must admit, flying is way more fun than I thought it would be" Erza said. "I shouldn't be wasting my precious time like this. I need to be changed back at once" Erza said as she flew away. "What are we gonna do?" You asked. You sighed as ice started falling out of your mouth. "Hey Gray, or, uh, (Y/n), you're  dropping ice, hon" she said. You gasped and quickly covered your mouth. "I hate this. Why me?" You asked. "No need to worry, (Y/n)" Levy said as she stood in the doorway next to Jet and Droy.

"Levy it's you" you said in relief. Levy winked at you. "Levy" Natsu said in surprise. "The Shadow Gear Team is here to save the day. You guys will be back to normal in no time" Droy said. "Oh yeah. We got this. No sweat" Jet said. "Now, do your thing Levy!" Jet and Droy say together. "When you boys say "we" you really mean "her" right?" Mira asked. Jet and Droy laughed nervously. You smiled. "You're so sweet to help us" you said. Levy walked over to you. "Anything for my girl. Besides, I want to read your novel. And it'd be kind of weird talking about it with Gray" she whispered. You smiled and nodded. "What are you gonna do?" Natsu asked. Levy held the paper with her hands. "Well, I do know a thing or two about ancient texts. I'll start by taking a look at what was written on the flyer itself" Levy said. "Sounds good, but do it quick" Gray urged.

Erza stood on the table in front of everyone. "Listen up, everyone. We need to let Levy work in peace" Erza said as she held a fish in her mouth. Then she gasped as she realized she was holding the fish in her mouth. "Why did I have a fish in my mouth?" She cried. 'Cause they're yummy" Happy said with his own fish in his mouth. "Okay, Ugo Deru" Levy said as she studied the spell from a spell book. "Please hurry. There's only ten minutes left" Loke said desperately. "Hey, you sure it's safe to read the words out loud like that?" Gray asked. "Don't worry. It's totally safe as long as you don't read everything in the correct order" Levy said. "Now..." Levy said as she continued to study the spell. "There's not much time!" Natsu said. "Ugh, I can't take it!" He said. "I feel so weird. Change me back" he begged. "Aw. I don't think it's all that bad. One more time. Re-" Happy began as he planned to requip into something else.

"I swear. You'll lose a life, cat!" Erza said from behind. Levy closed the spell book and studied the flyer. "So how's it going, Levy?" You asked hopefully. Levy sweat dropped. "Have you figured it out?" Natsu asked. "No. I'm stumped" Levy said. You sighed. "Oh no. I never thought my fate would be to live out my days as some strange flying cat" Erza said as she flew past everyone. "What's so terrible about that, huh?" Happy asked. "No!" Gray shouted as he grabbed your shirt again as another attempt to pull it off. All of the men blushed again. "I told you not to do that!" You said. "Uh, I feel so funky" Natsu said. "The girls are never gonna talk to me now" Loke said as more fire escaped his mouth. "I want to switch with someone" Romeo said. "Not with me, kiddo. I'd die if I was underage" Cana said. "Look. I know you guys are freaking out, but I'm still working on it. Okay?" Levy asked.

"How much time do we have?" Natsu asked. "About eight minutes. Hate to say it, but you might start preparing for the worst" Macao said. "Oh no..." you said. Droy began banging on a drum as Jet held a small yellow fan with a red Fairy Tail symbol on it. "Go! Go! Go Levy!" They both cheered. Wakaba sweat dropped. "Those two guys are just her personal cheerleaders?" He asked. "So "Deru" is... oh, I see. That must mean..." Levy said as she read from the spell book again. Meanwhile you all sat sadly at one of the tables at the guild hall. "So what happens if we end up getting stuck like this?" Gray asked. Natsu looked at him. "Huh? What do you mean by that?" He asked. "Are we just gonna try to adjust to our new bodies and go back to work?" Gray asked. Natsu sweat dropped. "Well, yeah, I guess we'd have to. It's not like we have a whole lot of options" he said.

"Whatever happens is totally fine with me. If I stay quiet, everyone'll be nice to me 'cause I'm scary now" Happy said. "What?" Erza asked. "Well no one asked for your opinion did they? Stupid cat. I just want to be a cute girl again" you said as you began to cry. Gray sweat dropped awkwardly as Natsu pointed at you. "Are those frozen chunks of drool? That is so gross, man" he said. "I'm not a man! And I know it's gross! You think I'm doing this on purpose?!" You asked. You suddenly gasped. "Was is it Gray- er, I mean (Y/n)?" Erza asked. "I just realized something. If we get stuck like this forever and none us have a clue how to use our magic anymore, if we did take a job we'd never be able to finish it" you said. "Aw geez. You're right" Natsu said. "We stink" Gray agreed. "And that means..." Erza said. "We're the weakest team in Fairy Tail now" you all said.

"Let's do this, Happy!" Natsu said. "Aye!" Happy said. "Ice Make: Hammer!" You said. A perfect hammer made of ice appeared. You smiled. Since maker magic was something you already knew, you wouldn't have any problem using Gray's kind of magic, since you had already had that kind of magic yourself. Gray grabbed on of your Elemental gate keys. "Uh, hold on. Stupid keys" he said. "Oh wow. Being able to fly is so fun" Erza said as she flew in the air with her new wings. You all sighed. "No! What's the point of living if I can't even burn stuff anymore?!" Natsu asked. "I am an S Class wizard and I refuse to be part of the weakest team in the guild" Erza said. "If only I wasn't trapped in this form..." Erza said. "You're mean. I don't understand why you're complaining so much. I like being a cat" Happy said. Happy then jumped into the air trying to fly away and crashed on top of Erza.

Erza gasped in pain. "Just what were you trying to do there Erza- Er, I mean, Happy?" Macao asked. "Ever since we've switched she's been saying mean stuff. So I got mad and tried to fly away. But I couldn't fly away. 'Cause I don't have my wings anymore" Happy said. "I'm sorry I was mean. I promise I'll be-" Erza said as she tried to get out from under Happy. Erza passed out under Happy's stomach. "Yes, that's it!" Levy said. You all gasped. "Really? So you can lift the spell?" Natsu asked. "Come on. Do it!" Gray said. "This is what it says. May this eternal exchange provide you with eternal happiness. Kind of cute, isn't it?" Levy asked. "Aw, yeah it is" you said. "May this eternal exchange provide you with eternal happiness. Huh" Loke said. "Yeah, and?" Natsu asked. "In other words, everybody who's been switched by the spell will live happily ever after.

You're so lucky. I'm so glad I figured it out" Levy said. "Oh! No way! Are you telling me we're stuck like this forever?!" Natsu asked. "We wanted you to lift the spell. Not read it. Remember?" Gray asked. Levy gasped. "Oh. That's right. I'm sorry" she said. You put a hand on her shoulder. "You've got this. I have faith that you can do this. But you've got to work a little faster, kay? Maybe there's some kind of code or hidden message in the words. You know, something like that" you said. "Yeah. Good idea" Levy said. "Go go! Go Levy!" Jet and Droy said. Wakaba sweat dropped. "Isn't all that racket gonna distract her?" He asked. "Nah, they're just trying to get her pumped up. And they need all the help they can get" Elfman said. "Huh?" Wakaba asked. "Go go! Go Levy!" Jet and Droy said. "I'm still not seeing any kind of a pattern here. It doesn't seem to make any sense" Levy said.

"Three minutes left" Macao said. "Three minutes?!" You asked. "Well this is it. For the rest of my life, fish for breakfast, lunch, and dinner" Erza said. "I've worked so hard. And now I'm going to spend my days chasing mice and little pieces of string" Erza cried as she flew into the air. "No wait! come back here Happy! I mean Erza!" Loke said. "Sorry I got upset. I know this is hard for both of us" Happy said. Erza turned around. "Really you do?" She asked. "Now's not the time for us to be arguing like this. Will you please forgive me?" Happy asked. "Yes. Of course. I hope you'll forgive me too" Erza said. "Aye. Here's a little something to make you feel better" Happy said as he held out a fish for Erza. "A fish? I- don't want it!" Erza said as she cried and flew away. "Could you be anymore clueless?!" You asked.

"Have you figured it out yet?!" Natsu asked. "The situation is dire with just one minute to go" Macao said. "I don't recall asking you for the time so shut your trap, kay?!" Natsu asked. Macao sweat dropped. "Geez. I was just trying to help" he said. "Okay. I think I've almost got this last part of it worked out" Levy said. "Work it Levy! Yeah! You're on fire!" Elfman said. "He's too good at that" Wakaba said. "Still trying to break the spell. Are you?" Makarov asked. Gray looked at him. "Look, if you're trying to teach us a lesson here, we've learned it already okay?" He asked. Makarov gasped. "Oh!" He said. "Yes, master?" Erza asked. "Nope. Never mind kids. I'm drawing a blank" Makarov said. You groaned. Gray grabbed your shirt once more trying to pull it off again. "Oh! We're not gonna make it!" He said. You grabbed him and pulled him down.

"Taking my shirt off isn't gonna change anything Gray!" You shouted. "Let go of me!" Gray said. "You guys have about forty seconds left. More or less. Starting now" Macao said. "What do you mean by more or less?!" Natsu asked. "I just remembered something about the spell" Makarov said. "What is it?" Erza asked. "While it can be lifted, I'm afraid that it has to be done one pair at a time. Meaning it's impossible to change all of you back at once" Makarov said. "What?!" Natsu asked. "30 seconds ish" Macao said. "Which pair's going first?" Gray asked. "It should be me and other me. Don't you think?" Natsu asked Loke. "Sounds good" Loke said. "That is so not fair. I think it should be me and Gray!" You whined. "Hold on. As Fairy Tail's strongest female wizard, I should go first. It's for the good of the guild" Erza said. (You're not the strongest female wizard, Erza). "Well, I don't care either way" Happy said. All of you started fighting with each other and began to argue.

"This is getting ugly" Wakaba said. "At least they can't use their magic against each other" Mira said. "Just 15 seconds left" Macao said. "Hold on, you guys. I got it!" Levy said. "And 12. 11" Macao said counting down. "Seriously?" Loke asked. "All right. I'll try to explain this to you really quickly" Levy said. "And nine. Eight" Macao continued. You smacked Macao and he fell to the ground unconscious. "No time. Just change us back. Hurry!" You shouted. "Yeah right. Okay. Here goes" Levy said. "Ainak orob ihcusar ured ogu! Ainak orob ihcusar ured ogu! Ainak orob ihcusar ured ogu! Ainak orob ihcusar ured ogu!" Levy said as a bright light appeared from the paper and rainbow glowing letters began to fly out from the paper in a circle.

You smiled. "Hey, I'm back to normal guys!" You said. "Me too" Gray said. "Man. That was close" Gray said as ice cubes fell out of his mouth. He gasped and sweat dropped. "So now you're drooling ice cubes on purpose?" Wakaba asked. You ran over and hugged Levy. "You're awesome Levy!" You said. "That's right!" She said. "Oh yeah" Droy said. "Our cheering worked, huh?" Jet asked. "You gotta tell me. How'd you do it?" Lucy asked, impressed. "When I realized the words themselves had no meaning, I decided to read them backwards. It's actually an old trick. Ancient languages like this usually didn't have that many letters. So sometimes they had to be a little bit more creative with how they used their words. That's why, when I reversed the words, it reversed the spell too" Levy said.

"How cool. I never would have thought of that" Lucy said. "We owe you big time, Levy" Gray said. Levy laughed. "Don't worry about it" she said as you shook her hand. Natsu and Loke sighed. "I'm still in the wrong body!" They both said. "What?!" You and Lucy both asked. "Me too. I'm still a stupid cat" Erza said. "Wow. You mean I get to stay like this?" Happy asked excitedly.  You and Lucy screamed. "Well. That does it for time. You did get one pair switched back so I guess that's something to be proud of" Macao said. "No this can't be happening! There must have been some kind of mix up!" Natsu said. "Please, Levy. There's got to be something else you can try!" He begged. Levy grabbed the paper and looked at it. "Sorry. Maybe I didn't pronounce it right" she said. "What?!" Everyone asked. "So that's it? We're stuck like this forever?" Natsu asked. "I can't spend the rest of my life as some pink haired drooling fire freak of nature" Loke said. "Wake up, Erza. This is all some horrible nightmare and you need to wake up" Erza convinced herself.

"Oh. Come on. Relax. It's not all that bad" Happy said. "Now now. Don't lose heart. There's got to be another way" Makarov said as he held his cane. "Huh?" He asked. "Something's not right. Hey guys, did I get shorter?" Mira asked. You and Lucy gasped. "Oh no! Mirajane?!" You said. "Don't tell me that Mira switched bodies with Gramps!" Lucy said. "Whoo boy! You won't hear me complaining about that!" Makarov said happily. "No! This can't be happening!" Mira cried. Erza slowly turned around. "Who else?" She asked. "All of you need to just man up and get over it, okay?" Elfman asked inside of Cana's body. Elfman looked at himself. "What's the deal? Why do I smell like a brewery all of a sudden?" He asked. Cana looked shocked as she saw herself standing not far off. "What? Hey! How did- oh man. I really think I might need to take a bit of a nap right now" Cana said before falling to the floor and passing out.

"Hey, uh, Droy?" Jet asked in Droy's body. "Hmm? Yeah? What is it now, Jet?" Dory asked in Jet's body. Then they both gasped as they looked at each other. "Hey man. Stop looking like me!" They both said as they pointed at each other. "I don't think anybody's gonna be able to tell the difference with you two. But in my case, having a body like this is a dream come true!" Makarov said. "He's creeping me out, Levy! Please help me!" Mira said. Everyone began shouting and fighting with each other as Levy sweat dropped. "Sorry, but I think I'm way over my head here" she said. "This is awesome! Everyone's someone else now!" Happy said as he laughed. "Have you gone completely nuts?! This is horrible!" Natsu said.
