The thunder of hooves hitting the ground shook everything awake in a heartbeat. An armoured man led the troop along. They reached a large green forest.

"We hide in here." The man announced, his voice muffled by the metal helmet he wore. "We cannot let them find us." Seeing his troop nodding, he continued on.

Soon the horses slowed to a stop. The armoured man jumped off of his horse and took off his helmet, revealing light pink hair and dark eyes. He sat down on the ground and two armoured girls came to sit next to him.

"Natsu," The first one began. "Why the forest?" The second nodded. "Out of all places, you had to take us here." "It's the only place we could hide in." Natsu huffed.

"Okay.." Said the second girl. She had long blonde hair and pale blue eyes. "I thought you would show a bit of understanding, Sorine." Natsu smirked. "I was right." Sorine quirked a small smile before turning to her companion. "Taki, we must trust Natsu." Taki crossed her arms. "I wish this war would just end already!" She cried.

"Excuse me?" Natsu said quietly, gradually getting louder. "EXCUSE ME?!" He screamed this time. "This war WILL NOT END!" He quieted down a bit, now looking more solemn than angry. "I'm doing this for Igneel." He whispered, touching a white scarf around his neck. "I can't let him down."

Taki and Sorine looked up at him in sympathy. "No," Natsu said, clenching a fist. "I won't let him down."

"Time to fight, girls."
