Lucy:
Woah!
We'd just stepped out of the palace gates, only to take in the breathtaking streets of Crocus. Banners and bunting strung from the rooftops with various guild insignia's stitched into them. Stalls with thousands of activities and foods lined the streets, cheery folk music filled the air, hundreds of people bustled through the festival, laughing, chatting and joining the festivities. Children ran around, playing and dancing.
"You smell that?" Natsu drooled. For sure the scent of amazing foods wafted throughout the city "aye sir!" Happy exclaimed, stomach rumbling.
"Gray-Sama! Juvia wants to try that!" Juvia smiled, pulling Gray off to a stall.
"Hey guys!" Cana came stumbling towards us "isn't this great?" She was clearly already drunk, a gloss covered her indigo eyes a pink haze was visible in her cheeks and her speech was slurred. "Cana are you drunk?"
"Nah, I can hold my liqueur. But those Quattro puppies sure are wild!" She hiccuped "did you know there's a stall with rare expensive alcohol?" I put my head in my hand. I can already tell this is going to be a long day.

"Woah check it out!" Natsu hollered, pointing at a huge parade balloon that resembled Acnologia.
It'd been a few hours and everyone had practically gone their separate ways. Juvia had carted Gray off somewhere, Erza and Wendy got held up by a stall selling magical cakes and Carla obviously had to stay with Wendy which made Happy want to stay with them too. It was just me and Natsu and it was honestly loads of fun. It almost feels like we're on a date...WAIT! That's exactly what this is! We're alone together! We've shared food! Holy crap this is a date! I felt sweaty and overheated all of a sudden. Kyaa! It's awkward now!
"Look Luce!" Natsu grinned, he'd gotten his face painted like Happy.
Ok maybe not. I sighed in relief, "that's great Natsu!" It looks so weird...

Natsu:
"And that one looks like..oh! It looks like two dragons fighting over a scrap of meat!" I pointed up at the cloud drifting across the orange sky. "Mmm I think it looks like an eagle" Lucy cocked her head "really? I don't see it" I squinted, we were perched on the edge of the stone bridge overlooking the river that runs through Crocus.
We'd done most of the activities and were taking a break. Why does it feel so awkward without Happy around? I feel like I can't restrain myself, I tried to distract the weirdness of it... but it still feels like- oh what did Mira call it?!..like that dried fruit...a...a date!
"Um, Earth Land to Natsu?" Lucy waved her hand in front of my face. "Did I space out?" I grinned, she frowned "you've been spacing out all day actually, are you ok? You're not catching a fever are you?" She placed her hand on my forehead. There is no point in doing that, my body temperature is always hot and fiery. I sighed at Lucy's density and took her hand from my forehead and pulled her closer to me, her eyes widened in shock, "I don't get sick Lucy, I've been spacing out because I can't stop thinking about y-"
"Natsu, Lucy!" Wendy came rushing over to us. damn it! "I'm so glad I found you! Erza's been getting angry, we were supposed to meet back in the square fifteen minutes ag- oh I'm so sorry was I interrupting!?" She stopped. Lucy leapt up "NOPE! Nothing going on here! Better go before Erza rampages through town!" Always blushing, she's so weird...

"Glad to see you made it before the performance began!" Erza stated as we approached, the group were standing in the middle of a large crowd in front of a fancy stage, lit up with hundreds of multicolored lights. "Sorry Erza..." We sighed, it was nice just spending all my time with Lucy. With the rest of the group it was hard, one wrong move and I'd be teased by Gray or Happy.

Nobody:
The lights in the square dimmed as the spotlight shone on the stage, a young woman dressed in a pink gown with flowing pale blonde hair and green eyes entered centre stage, she had bare feet and wing-like adornments covered her ears. Of course this wasn't the real Mavis Vermilion, it was an actress.
"X792, the month of September. That's when countless mages fought for good, they fought for peace and they fought destruction... the following events are based on real circumstances during the great Alvarez war!" She spoke as the velvet curtains lifted revealing a battlefield looking set, the painted sky was dusk and full of grey smoke and ash. Rubble of buildings lay around the stage, the silhouettes of thousands of fighting mages were painted into the background.
"So it's a performance of the war?" Gray whisper-asked, Erza nodded
"It only focuses on the main guilds that fought, we're all in it. Mirajane actually helped write the script." The redhead stated. Why do I have a bad feeling knowing Mira helped? Lucy thought, sweat forming on her brow.

The mages watched in horror.
The war part was extremely accurate...but at this particular part...
Lucy hid her face in her hands blushing wildly, Natsu felt steam rise from his head "th-that never...happened..." he squeaked, pointing at the stage where the actors playing Natsu and Lucy were having a full on make out session. The crowd was absolutely silent, Erza stared at the real Natsu and Lucy blushing, wondering if that actually happened.
Lucy lifted her head and looked for Mirajane, who was sobbing as she watched the performance. If only that was the truth! She thought, blowing her nose. Lucy glared at her "Mirrrraaa!" She hissed, even though deep down, she was thinking the exact same thing.

A loud screech came from the stage as a huge black and blue dragon animatronic powered by lacrima flew onto it, smoke surrounded the beast, it's eyes glowed as the lights dimmed and the curtains finally drew to a close, telling everyone that the first act was over, and it was now the interval.
Natsu and Lucy stood in an awkward silence. "I'm going to..go..t-talk to Mira!" Lucy announced, sidestepping away "uhuh..." Natsu nodded, staring into space.
The whole show was very informing except for the parts that weren't real, like Natsu kissing Lucy and Ichiya defeating the Spriggan twelve on his own.
"Mira why would you do that?" Lucy asked the she devil, Mira smiled deviously "I thought it would help you, so I decided to add it, besides I ship it and you like it, admit it." She winked, Lucy blushed fifty shades of red, she did like it, she wanted it to have actually happened. But of course she denied it "N-No I don't!" She squealed at the takeover mage, who was chuckling lightly to herself, she knew the truth. She also knew that they definitely weren't going to become a couple by themselves and that they needed a hard nudge. Or so she thought.

"With the power of all seven dragon slayers!" The actor playing Natsu screamed at the animatronic that portrayed Acnologia. All seven actors leapt at the robot and punched it with light effects making it look like they wielded magic. Natsu scoffed, finally out of his daze "that's a heck of an understatement. It was way more badass than that..." he huffed.
"Just watch will ya?" Gray spoke in a monotone voice. Natsu shot a glare at the ice wizard before settling his eyes on the stage again.
"I need to rewrite him!" 'Lucy' burst on to stage followed by 'Gray' and 'Happy' holding a book prop with the title E.N.D. she's not as pretty as the real Luce...Natsu thought focusing on the actress. Sure she's got blonde hair and brown eyes, but they aren't big and chocolatey. Her boobs aren't big enough either! The dragon slayer pouted, glaring at the flat chest. He looked down at the real Lucy, perfect as always. He scanned her face taking in her sweet scent of vanilla and strawberries, then looked down at her respiring chest. It made him feel at ease to know the real Lucy was just there and not some blonde bimbo doing her bad justice in a play.

"AND THAT'S HOW ICHIYA WON THE WAR!" The cast cheered.
The audience was eerily quiet, apart from the loud cheers from Blue Pegasus members. Everyone stared in horror at the stage as the overly handsome man playing the troll Ichiya bowed to the audience.
"Goodness I didn't know about that part." Mira giggled. The curtains closed and everyone just stood silent, all knowing that's not how it happened at all. Eventually the crowd began to disperse, not uttering a word all in some freaky daze. Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Juvia, Wendy and Erza stood in the square, staring at the cobbles. Lucy shook her head. "I-It wasn't that bad?!" She stuttered, she couldn't stop thinking about the kissing scene. What if Natsu thinks I like him? I do but if he gets that impression I'm done for! She looked around at her team who, one by one snapped into reality.
"So Ichiya helped write the script too.." Erza still stared at the floor, a blank expression on her face. Then she fell to the ground in a exasperation.
