Magnolia - Fairy Tail guild hall.

Nashi:

"We're home!" I cheered. "We brought back some stray kittens too!"

"Stray kittens my butt!" Gale corrected as she stepped through the door. We had gotten her some new clothes on our way back that she had picked out herself. She had white shorts and a white tank top underneath a formal black vest and a loosely tied red tie. This of course was all complimented by black combat boots and leather fingerless gloves. In the past three months, her purple hair had faded into its natural black color. Of course, she redyed it to a new color. This time it was black on top and red underneath. 

"Hey I'm back too!" Kali announced. She had her red bandanna around her neck, but since "everyone else was getting a new look" she insisted that she should too. Her new look was a more subtle one, just her bandanna and a new pair of flight goggles on her head. I told her that she didn't necessarily need flight goggles, but she insisted that they were "too cool to pass up". 

The guild cheered as the two made their way inside. They stopped as everyone welcomed them home and told them how glad they were to see them safe. Storm and I shared a glance and stepped inside as well. 

It felt good to have Gale and Kali back, the only person missing was Reiki. I couldn't help but grin, after all, it was so easy to find Storm, Gale, and Kali. Could it really be that hard to find Reiki? At this rate, he might as well just walk right into the guild hall.

"Yo guys we're home!" Natsu announced. He and the rest of the team came wandering into the guild hall, all of them smiling. 

"Hey guys!" I cheered. "Look who we found while you were gone!"

"That's right I'm back baby!" Kali cheered over all the commotion and flew to my side.

"Hey Kali, how's it hangin'?" Natsu greeted. He gave the exceed a high five and pulled me into a side hug. 

"How was your job?" I asked. 

"Awesome," He grinned. "We unfroze a village full of giants!"

"Whoa! That's so cool," While the rest of Natsu's team went on to get settled back into the guild hall, Natsu continued to talk to me about the trip. It all sounded so cool to me and I wished I could have been there to see it all. 

"Hey I found something," Levy called out. Natsu stood up to go talk to her so I followed, curiosity getting the best of me. Lucy, Gajeel, Wendy, and the exceeds also gathered around the blunette. she had a rather old book on the table and was reading from it. "It's about E.N.D. apparently he's a super demon. Compared to lullaby and deliorah, he's on a separate level altogether,"

"He really is the most powerful demon in the book of zeref," Lucy confirmed. 

"so how do we beat it?" Wendy questioned. 

"No clue, I'm not even sure what a book of Zeref really is," Lily added.

"Zeref created demons made of pure evil," Carla explained. "After he was done, he committed the spells for summoning them into those books,"

"so if someone got their hands on one of em' they could summon a demon just by reading them?" Happy questioned.

"Yes, and each book has its own demon dedicated to it," Carla answered. 

"so there's a chance Tartaros has one of those," Natsu pointed out. "I bet it's the one for summoning E.N.D. Also, there's the fact Igneel tried to take the creep out before... Yeah, I figured it out," Natsu growled. 

"Figured what out?"

"WE GOTTA TAKE THE FIGHT TO TARTAROS!" Natsu declared with a mischevious smirk.

"Count me in," I added with a similar face.

"You're both brain-dead," Lucy insulted. "Besides there is way too much we don't know about their guild yet. We don't even know where they are, let alone how many creeptastic demons they'll be throwing our way. Just how do you plan to take it to them?"

"I don't know, still it might get us closer to finding Igneel. Wait..." Natsu looked at me curiously. Everyone else landed their eyes on me.

"what?"

"You're the one from the future, are you gonna help us with this or not?"

"Oh yeah..." I pondered, resting a finger on my chin. "You see I don't know all that much about Tartaros either,"

"are you serious?" everyone had a really annoyed expression.

"It's not my fault you never told me anything about Tartaros when I was a kid. You told me all about the lullaby, the phantom lord incident, the oracion seis, Edolas, the attack on Tenrou Island, the grand magic games, the eclipse, Avatar, the Alvarez empire, the century quest, the white witch, and-" my words were cut short by Storm's icy cold hand clamping over my mouth. 

"That's too far! You're gonna screw up the timeline if you tell them too much," 

"Sorry," I muttered.

"I know a few things about Tartaros," Storm explained. He uncovered my mouth and began to tell them what he knew about the dark guild. "As you already know, Tartaros is a dark guild that doesn't have a lot of information gathered on it. I can't get into too many details, but I can tell you that getting involved with Tartaros led to some of the most crucial events in our history that even influenced the entire country itself,"

"Seriously?" Lucy whispered. 

"This is one fight that we can't afford to change," Storm concluded. "The events that transpired in the war against Tartaros hold too much weight in our history. Changing a single outcome here could change everything,"

"Listen up everybody I've got horrible news!!" Jet and Droy came bursting through the doors, a look of shock and horror clear on their faces. Normally I'd crack a joke and say something offensive, but their faces said that this was a real emergency and shouldn't be taken lightly. Had the war with Tartaros already begun? "Someone wiped out the entire magic council! They're all dead!"

To everyone's dismay, that wasn't the only tragedy that occurred today. Not long after the news of the magic council's deaths' reached us, we received word that the Thunder Legion and Mr. Yajima were taken out by a member of Tartaros. We somehow managed to get Laxus and the others back to Fairy Tail where they were being treated in the infirmary. 

"What happened to them? Whatever it is tell me you can fix it! They'll be okay won't they?" Makarov shouted at Porlyusica. We were all frantically nervous about the condition of the Thunder Legion, Makarov especially. They weren't just beaten up by the Tartaros member, they were poisoned with something that was released into the air. 

"They've been heavily exposed to bane particles," Porlyusica explained. "I'll do what I can, but far smaller exposures than theirs have proven lethal in the least. Recovery is possible, but not guaranteed or even likely." We were all taken back by the healer's words. "Laxus' case is many times worse than the rest. It's a miracle he's lasted this long."

Everyone was in shock and concerned for their friends. There were solemn expressions all around the room. Even the future team and I were saddened by the event. The worst part was that Laxus had tried to save the people of Magnolia by sucking in all of the Bane particles. He had sacrificed himself for the people. However, in the end, his sacrifice did nothing to stop the spread of the bane particles.

Over 100 people had been killed by the bane particles... We didn't have the heart to tell the Thunder Legion that Laxus' sacrifice had been for nothing. 

"So this is what sparked the war with Tartaros?" I thought to myself. "If this is how it started, I'm not sure I want to know how the rest of it goes,"

"Well Gramps," Natsu growled, he was furious. "You realize this means war!"
