Revenge is a dish best served cold.

All of Mira's victims have been plotting how we can overthrow this tyranny. She's embarrassed us? It's our turn to embarrass her. Mwahahaha!

The next morning, we gather backstage early. Today is the last day. The building trembles precariously. I have no idea how it's still standing.

The entire guild is in on it. If they haven't been chosen yet, they're worried about being chosen. That's incentive enough. Most of our guildmates don't want their secret crushes to be revealed in front of a live audience.

One of the benefits of Mira knowing who all of our crushes are is that we know who her crush is too. I run my hands together evilly. Let's see how Mira likes the taste of her own medicine.

We ambush Mira on the way to the narrator's booth. Lisanna and Elfman do most of the work, since Mira is least likely to hurt them.

They drag her to the center of the stage before the curtains open. I take my position in the narrator's booth and crack my knuckles.

It's showtime.
