Okay so for everyone who is confused, Fioxus is the ship name for Fiona Justine x Laxus Dreyar. Fiona is an O/C of my friend Scarlet. She is Freed's twin sister, And Ellanna is an O/C of mine. She's Gajeel's sister, and in this story she's dating Freed.

Now, on with the story!!

Fiona POV

"Come on Freedie. Tell me his name! Please!" I begged my brother. I had joined his guild Fairy Tail about three months ago. And I haven't really hung out with anyone else...what?! It's not my fault new people scare me!! Anyway, my brother thought I needed to socialize so he set me up with a blind date. A blind date!!

"Nope!" He declared, "If I were to tell you it would ruin the blindness of the date." He stated.

"You're the worst!" I yelled at him.

"Oh come on Fio, I know you don't mean that. Anyway, your date's in a couple hours. You should get ready. Since you don't really hang out with other people I asked El to help you." He smiled as his 'secret' girlfriend walked up.

"Come on Flee. Let's get you a dress." She said smirking a little. This worried me. I followed her out of the guild and to Fairy Hills. I'm gonna regret agreeing to this.

Laxus POV

I was sitting at the bar, just sitting there, minding my own business. When Freed walked up and told me he had set me up with a blind date. I found this somewhat confusing. A little surprising too. When I asked him for her name he had told me "it would ruin the blindness of the date." Okay...so then I asked why he had set me up with this 'blind date' and he just grinned...I'm beginning to wonder of Ellanna is a good influence. (A/N I actually almost typed "I was beginning to wonder if Ellanna is a food." XD) This was  yesterday, as the date is tonight I was picking out my clothes for the evening.

Honestly this seems like a waste of time. But, I was a little curious to see what kind of girl he had set me up with.

Timeskip to the date.

Laxus POV
I had arrived at the place Freed had told me to meet my date. He had said that someone would ensure we found each other...okay. I had been waiting for a few minutes, when I saw Ellanna walking up with Fiona, who was dressed in a floor length red dress with a slit up one leg to her thigh. She looks hot! And she smells good too!  I suddenly realized I was gawking...I hope she didn't see.
"Hey Sparky. Have fun on your date! Bye, Flee! see you later!" She then leaned in and whispered something barely audible to Fiona.

Fiona POV

Wait...my brother set me up with Laxus!?! Ellanna leaned in and whispered in my ear. "I expect details of everything that happens tonight." I blushed as I looked to see her smirk. Then I begin to freak out, because...well...I may have had a tiny crush on the lighting dragon slayer. Just a little one though. He's so hot!!

El continued to smirk as she walked away. I turned to the fine specimen standing before me. "So, I guess you're my date then?" I sort of said/asked

"I guess so." He looked at me. I may have stared a bit.

We entered the restaurant and ordered our meals.

"So, why does El call you Flea?" He asked me.

"Um...I think she said it was because 'Bunny Girl' was taken...whatever that means." I said, slightly rolling my eyes. "Freed thought the general inspiration came from my shyness. And my tendency to 'Flee' from large gathering of people."

"Aah. Well that's much more creative than her nickname for me...I mean you would think she would come up with something at least a little original." He laughed. I laughed along with him.

"Yeah. I guess you're right. So what's her deal with giving out nicknames anyway?"

"Don't know. But since her brother does it too I've come to guess it's a family trait."

We ate our dinner and talked for hours. After we had eaten Laxus payed for our meal and we left.
"So do you want to go to the park with me?" He asked. "You had said you came to Magnolia to see the cherry blossoms and they should be particularly nice tonight."

"I'd love that!" I smiled at my date.
We walked to the park and around the trees. They were all so pretty!
I climbed up one tree and the view was even better from among its flower laden branches.
After some time, we decided it was time for us to go home. Laxus walked me to the entrance of Fairy Hills. "Well, Good night Fiona." He said, "I had a really great time! I hope we can do this again sometime." He smiled at me.

"Yeah! We should!" I replied. I looked at my date smiling. I was about to walk to the door when on impulse I decided to kiss him. He froze, but then returned my kiss. It was wonderful...after the kiss we parted ways. I went to my room and fell asleep dreaming beautiful dreams about my lightning dragon slayer.
