StingYu ~ At Last I See The Light
(First time writing StingYu, I actually really ship them~)
Yukino POV
I sighed as I sat at a small table in the Sabertooth guild. Ever since Sting became the guildmaster he left on jobs less, spoke to most of us other guild members less (except from Rogue and their exceeds) and seemed to always have something on his mind.
I admit it. I had a HUGE crush on Sting... Well I still do. But I didn't think I had a chance, I mean when he brought me back to Sabertooth I had a gut feeling that he might've liked me... Yet I still pushed it off. I daydream, so it was merely a thought.
"Gaaaaah." I laid my head on the table and let go of my thoughts. Being the silly person I was, I was so worried about Sting that I forgot to go on a job to pay for my rent.
So there I was.
Homeless until I could pay my rent.
"Yukino!" I looked up and saw Lector and Frosch standing beside me. "What're you doing here?"
"I'm just having a rest before going on a job!" What job was it again? That one with um.... "You know that one with the village where a dark guild member --,"
"The Hollive town?"
"Yes that's it!"
"That's been completed," Lector informed me. "Rogue took care of it, right Frosch?"
"Fro was there too!" Frosch gleams.
"Oh, well I should get going and pick another job!"
By the time I got to the noticeboard, all of the jobs left were low paying ones. Ones which wouldn't pay my rent. How hard can these jobs be?
--------
I made my way to the next town after collecting the payment for my fifth job. Five jobs in two days was a really good thing for me, it made up for the past few weeks without any jobs...
Okay, maybe not.
I'd collected 65,000 jewels, I needed another 135,000 to pay my rent and ensure that I would get all my stuff how I left it. The next job payed 20,000 which was good, but my magic was running low. To save money, I'd taken a tent and sleeping bag so I wouldn't have to pay for a place to stay.
"Hey there Missy!" Two men drunkenly made their way towards me, past them I saw the town's entrance. "Whatcha doin'?"
"Just making my way to the town here." I gestured to the entrance, but I glared at the men when they began laughing and approached me with their hands out.
"Heh! Why don't cha come with usss?" The man on the right's speaking was slurred and he held his 's's for too long. He lifted his hands and a flute appeared. As he started to play, snakes appeared from the edges of the path and slowly slithered towards me.
Before I could reach for my keys the other man raised his left hand, aimed it towards me and grinned. "No ya don't!" I was thrown back by a sound wave.
My knees and elbows scraped on the hard rocky floor, the snakes seemed to gain speed as I jumped up to my feet. In my right hand was the Celestial Gate Key of Libra, Libra can turn the tables here, I'm sure of it. "Open! Gate of th--,"
Again, I was hit by a sound wave. This time however, I was thrown against a rock and Libra's key went flying into a gathering of snakes. Blood trickled down my leg, a large cut ran down the side of my left thigh, undoubtedly from the rock.
Another snake leaped forwards and bound my hands together. I would've stood up if I wasn;t running so low on magic. My vision blurred and I felt myself falling forwards. The ground was warmer than I expected.
"How much do ya think a Celestial Key Bearer would be worth?"
"She had a gold key, so she'd sell for a high price... Woah! That's the Sabertooth guild mark!"
"Bingo." One of the men laughed, but his laugh was cut short by a scream. "AGH! What the heck?!"
"Wasn't me!"
"No, it was me!"
That was the last thing I remembered before losing consciousness.
Sting's voice, and a blinding light.
-----
When I woke up later, I was surprised to find myself in a large king-sized bed. My head was throbbing and I had an aching pain in my left leg. Remembering what had happened, I threw off the bed covers and checked my leg.
It was bandaged.
"W-What happened...? Sting!" I looked up after recalling the familiar voice.
"Right here." Sting's voice came from my right, he was sat in a small bedside chair which looked like he'd slept in it. "How are you feeling Yukino?"
"B-Better..." Blushing I looked down and froze. I was wearing different clothes... From .... Earlier....
"Um, Sting?"
"Yeah Yukino?"
"Did you, uhm... change my clothes?"
"Of course, your other clothes were muddy and looked uncomfortable. Why...?" Realization hit Sting like a boulder as his face turned a deep shade of red and he was forced to look away. "O-Oh."
Oh indeed!
"But, you looked bad... I mean! You were in bad shape. Not your body shape I mean! Like, um... Your injuries!!" He blurted out. "No that came out wrong, did it? Wait a sec, I need to think..."
I couldn't help but stifle a laugh. Sting's reaction was too cute.
"St-Stop laughing!" He whined. "Yukino!!"
I was caught off guard when he suddenly fell forwards and threw his arms around me. He squeezed me tightly and when I tried to push him away out of embarrassment he just held me tighter.
"No. Just stay like this for a while."
It was still dark outside, so it was probably early morning... around 3 or 4am.
We stayed like that, holding the other for much longer than I thought. When Sting finally let me go, our eyes met. His bright blue eyes lured me in, closer, closer, until our lips were almost touching...
A loud snore stopped us both. Lector was snoring away in a smaller bed on the far side of the room.
"Lectoooorrrr." Sting whispered. "You're cute but really? Right now?"
"Don't worry." I smiled. "He won't wake up, and if he snores again we can ignore it."
Sting grinned and then we locked lips.
We finished the jobs which would've taken me three days in one.
It still feels weird saying that I'm dating my guild's guildmaster.
Oh well.

AGHHHHHh!
I AM SO SORRY!
I haven't updated in ..... a couple of weeks?
Sorry, I was addicted to twitter (fan account) and so now I've deactivated.
Uhm, it's going to be like this for a while. Me updating late.
Ignore this next part if you don't like reading my thoughts, don't worry I won't take offense!
Okay, so...
By the way, I trust you guys so much, I wouldn't tell anyone else really.
WELL THEN!
My friends haven't been speaking to me much, and I was talking to a friend today about it. She said that it was because of how much time I spend on my computer and phone, so I'm going to stop using them for a while... What's it called when you take a break from something....?
Ah well, I'll update in a few weeks when I realise.
Probably.
But um, I watched an anime called 'Psycho Pass' (season 1 and I love it) and the day after I finished it I felt sick. Like I was going to throw up sick.
I haven't felt like that for seven years.
So, it was saying something.
I'm not watching season 2 or the movie.
I'm too scared that I'm going to be sick again.
But I don't even know why I felt sick.
Coincidence?
I guess, but now I'm thankful.
I was addicted to anime.
Hopefully, I can now spend time doing the things girls my age normally do.
Like listening to Cry Reads on YouTube :D
I will still write on wattpad.
Just, might not be as updated.
Thanks for supporting me all this time though.
It's been like a year almost.
I couldn't thank you guys more.
<3
