Chapter 2: Scarlet White

"We're back!" Eleanor hummed, as she swung open the door, being followed by Florence and Reo.

"Must she always be so loud?" Pride bellowed, with the flick of her wrist. "She's so obnoxious."

Florence growled softly. "I suggest you don't talk about her that way."

"Come on girls, can't we all just get along?" Reo hummed, dropping all his loot onto the floor as he began to stack it up in a pile.

"Come Eleanor." Wrath said in a gentle and deep voice. "I'd like to see what you accumulated."

She smiled to the dark figure that sat quietly at the end of the room. She stepped towards him pulling out the small slip of paper.

"What exactly was it you wanted her to get?" Gluttony said with a mouth full.

"Like I said, the master wants us to find someone who know longer exists." Wrath unfolds the slip of paper. "Before we can find them, we have to prove they existed."

"What exactly is that?" Pride stands up, looking towards the sheet.

He pulls it into the light, and they see the magazine cover of an old Sorcerer Magazine Issue, dating back almost two years ago.

"Wha? That's all ya stole  lil' sis?" Reo groaned, resting his arm on her head.

"That's what he asked me to get, nothing more." She shrugged.

"What can we expect, from a half blood." Pride hissed.

"Careful now." Florence nodded. "She may only be half, but her father was a Lord."

"And who are you to talk?" Envy hissed. "You were born human."

Wrath slammed his hand against the arm of his chair. "SILENCE!"

The room trembled as Wrath took in a breath. "Look at this."

His hand drifted over the image of a girl.

"This single issue slipped out of existence somehow, people forgetting it ever existed, or that they'd ever had it. All because of this girl who was unfortunately on the cover."

"Who is that?" Florence asked firmly.

"Her name..." Wrath pulled the magazine back. "Is Marigold."

"Zailo, wake up." Felicity kicked at the leg of her companion as she sat across from him. Just out the window, the world peacefully began resided with the setting sun.

His eyes slowly open, looking upon Felicity's smiling face, her hand rested in her balm, as her elbow propped up against the window frame of the car. He furrowed his eyebrows to the disturbance, but she simply grinned as her free hand left its patient place on her thigh, pointing gently out the window.

He turned his head to see the glorious sunset, but not just that. They had arrived, and were approaching the beautiful town of Magnolia. His eyes brightened with excitement, as he pressed each of his hands against the glass.

"Oh my gosh!" He laughed hysterically, turning his head back to Felicity. "I can't believe we're here!"

"Can't believe you didn't wet yourself when I told you we arrived..." Felicity said with a smug expression.

He groans lowly, pulling himself back into his seat as he scratched his head. "Gee, you seem excited."

"Are you kidding?" Felicity sighed. "I'm nervous as crap."

"You'll call your landlord first thing when we get to Fairy Tail." He gave a solid thumbs up.

"Yeah...I just hope he doesn't throw all my stuff out...or worse...steal it."

The train came to a stop after just a few moments. And Zailo grabbed his things, and Felicity, speeding off the train.

"Holy crap! We're here!" He laughed as Felicity was dragged along.

"Do you have to drag me?" Felicity shouted, trying to pick her legs up off the floor.

For a moment, as Felicity was shaking her head violently to loosen the grip of Zailo, her head turned to a man sitting in a booth, holding his head back, and his hand on his stomach.

It was clear he had been suffering from motion sickness from the ride, and he wasn't quite recovered yet.

Two little cats were tugging at the ends of his cloaks, trying to get him up and into the aisle. She thought it was a funny site, but it didn't concern her.

The walk to the guildhall was almost a run, thanks to Zailo's anxiety.

And the moment they approached the grand entranced to the monstrously sized guild. Even Felicity was impressed.

"Holy..."

"Crap."

Zailo looked to Felicity. "I have this complete fear that I'll be incredibly disappointed the moment I walk through those doors."

Felicity looked with bright and surprised eyes. She shook her head. "Not a chance."

Zailo sucked in a breath, and pushed open the door, allowing the boisterous noises within the guild to leak out.

"Les GO!" He said with puffed cheeks and a fist in the air as Felicity held in a laugh.

They rushed into the guildhall quickly, and found people together in happy laughter.

"Did we walk into a pub or a guild?" Felicity muttered.

"Why hello there strangers?"

The two jerk their heads around to see tall woman with dark red hair smiling at them.

"Oh my gosh! She's Esmeralda!" Zailo gasped, shaking Felicity.

She laughs lightly as she nods her head. "Are you new members?"

"Hopefully." Zailo muttered nervously.

"Sorry...this is kinda a big deal for him." Felicity smiled gently.

"Well if you'd like to join, just go Mira--"

"EZZIE!"

Elwin appears, dressed in a dark cloak, appears, grabbing the shoulders of Esmeralda, shaking her violently.

"We need more dwarfs!" He huffed. "I've got Jude, Molly, Rowen, Layla, and Gillian as dwarfs, but we need two more!"

Esmeralda scrunched up her face as Zailo pat Felicity's head.

"She's short. She could pass as a dwarf."

Elwin turns to Felicity, leaning down and staring her right in the eye. "I'm...thinking...she'll be Dopey."

"No." Felicity shook her head. "I am not doing that."

"You have to! Or I'll die!" Zailo begged, shaking Felicity's shoulders madly.

"I highly doubt that." Felicity sighed, until a smug grin tugged the edge of her lips. "However...that would be nice..."

"Please? For me?" Zailo said with big wet eyes. "I could brag about it to random strangers and accuse them of being jealous when they shush me."

She puckered her lip slightly, then let out a sigh. "Fine...I'll do it."

"Great! We're doing it in 5 minutes!"

"What!?"

Elwin picks Felicity up, lifting her over his shoulder as he dragged her into the back.

Zailo stood awkwardly as he was left alone, as Esmeralda quickly followed.

He glanced around a few times, then looked to see an open table to sit down at.

"I'm so excited!" Sylvie announced as she sat down just in front of Zailo. "Elwin's plays always end with a bang."

"Yeah..." Laurie sighed as he sat beside her, draping his arm over her shoulder. "It took forever to rebuild the guild the last production."

"Uh...wait? What exactly was the play last time?" Zailo asked awkwardly.

"Peter Pan."

"Hm."

Sylvie leaned forward slightly, giving Zailo a good long look. "You're new here, aren't you?"

Zailo nodded. "Yeah--oh my gosh! You're Sylvie Fullbuster!!"

"Sylvie Redfox now." She said with a smile. "I got married."

"Really? To who?" Zailo asked, ignorant of the fact that the man with his arm around Sylvie.

"Uh...me." Laurie said with a faint wave.

"Gee, you guys are young to be married." Zailo said with a laugh. "Any regrets?"

"Of course." They both said simultaneously.

"But you two seem just fine."

Sylvie smiled. "Well...we eloped without telling anyone a bit over a year ago. So there were some complications there to begin with. And then there was the whole being married thing."

"By regrets, I don't mean that I wish I hadn't married her. I pretty much wanted to do that since I met her." Laurie shrugged. "I just wish we'd done things differently. I think the people who mattered should've been there too."

"Still, I'm glad I can rub my marriage in the face of Nashi." Sylvie snickered as the lights slowly dimmed.

"Shut your pie hole." Nashi hissed, sitting beside Zailo with Gideon. "Just because we aren't married doesn't mean we don't have a hot and sexy relationship!"

"Nashi, play's starting." Gideon said, patting his head as Zailo fangirled over Nashi's appearance beside him."

A spotlight flickered on as the small white cat, Psycho, walked onto the stage.

"Dah Fairy Tail Theater Troupe presents..." She sucks in a deep breath. "Snow White, and the 6 dwarfs."

"I thought it was 7!" Someone from the audience shouted.

"The 7th died from malaria." Psycho said as she slipped to the corner of the stage to serve as the the narrator. "Now...once upon a time...der was a kindom ruled by a king and queen. But da queen died of malaria. So to giv der sweet daughter a moder, da king married a butiful woman before he died of malaria. Leving da country to his wife, da Evil Queen."

"Do you have any clue what that cat is saying?" Gideon whispered to Nashi.

"Not a clue."

Psycho lifted her hand dramatically. "But what of de King and Queen's daughter? See was all alone, but wemained kind and true. An dat girl's name was Snow White!"

The crowd cheered as the curtains rose, revealing Esmeralda, dressed as though she were a princess.

"Oh woe is--"

"Pipe down Snow White! I haven't gidden da exposition!" Psycho hissed. She turns back to the audience. "Snow White was enswaved by da Evil Queen! And so berry lonely!"

"Oh woe is me!" Esmeralda cried in despair. "Forced to live a slave in my own kingdom!! I am a Princess! Believe me I beg!"

"What the heck is with this dialogue?" Xavier hissed from offstage to Elwin.

"It's ad lib, what were you expecting?" Elwin mumbled.

"Da sweet princess Snow White was imprisoned by da Evil Queen...who was secretly panning an evil pan."

Elwin threw his crown on, and with a smug face to Xavier, entered the stage.

"MWHAHAHAA!" He bellowed. "I am the Evil Queen!"

Gideon drops his hand into his face. "Oh my gosh..."

"It hurts a bit every time...doesn't it..." Nashi muttered awkwardly.

"Da Evil Queen had a magic mirror!" Psycho explained. "An da see asked da magic mirror da same conceited question every time."

Elwin pulls Melody onto the stage, who was holding an extravagant frame around herself.

"Mirror! Mirror! On the wall! Who is the fairest of them all?"

Melody makes an odd face, beginning to mutter awkwardly.

"Uh....uh...."

"Crap, she's got stage fright." Nashi sighed.

"It's Snow White, ugly!" Elwin said, muttering it in a poor imitation of Melody's voice. He turns around, returned to his other persona. "What?! More beautiful than I!?"

"Lucy was hotter than him when she was pregnant with triplets." Natsu huffed from the bar, getting a smack on the head from Lucy.

"Huntsman!! Come out!"

Lillian entered the stage, wearing some of Esmeralda's armor that was much too large for her.

"Yes...my...Queen? I guess?" She muttered as she bowed on one knee. "You're a girl in this, right?"

"Huntsman! I demand you kill Snow White!"

"What? Why?"

"Because! The Mirror said she was prettier than me!!"

"That is a horrible reason."

"Shut up! Just go do it!" Elwin turns Lillian around, kicking her off into center stage as the spotlight passed onto her and the entering Esmeralda. He slipped off the stage as the narration provided by Psycho continued.

"Da Huntsman found Snow White, and da two went on a walk deep in the woods alone, where no one could hear you scream..."

"Wow...grim." Zailo nodded.

"How lovely it is here in these woods where we are alone and if I were for some odd reason find myself screaming, no one could hear me." Esmeralda said with a delighted sigh.

"Yeah." Lillian said, pulling a knife out. "I guess that's convenient..."

She raises the knife over Esmeralda's head. Psycho, throwing her hands up. 'But da Huntsman couldn't do it!"

"Gah..." Lillian awkwardly muttered, dropping the knife. "I can't do it...I guess."

She sighs as she turned back to Esmeralda. "The Evil Queen, she's all cray cray and is trying to kill you for some really conceited reason."

"Oh my! How horrid!" Esmeralda cried in sure agony.

"Yep." Lillian nodded. "So go! Run! Off into the woods or she'll find and kill you! Now shoo! Get!"

Esmeralda dramatically runs off stage, as Elwin reenters.

"So Huntsman, did you kill her?" He hissed with a cold and disturbing stare.

Lillian shrugged. "Sure, let's go with that."

Psycho lifted her paws. "To deceive de old witch, da Huntsman gave da Evil Queen da heart of o' pig."

Elwin clicks his tongue to Xavier, who was on prop duty at the moment. He tosses out something wrapped in a cloth. Lillian looks down to it, and in curiosity, unravels the cloth.

"Holy--" She drops it leaving a loud splat. "Is that a real heart?!"

"I hope so!" Elwin sneered, continuing the scene. "Or it's your head..."

"Elwin! Did you seriously get a REAL heart for a play?!" Lillian shouted. "That better not be real!"

"Of course it's not, it's a piece of chicken we dyed red and dipped in egg yolk." He hissed in a low tone.

"Oh thank goodness..." Lillian sighed.

"You traitor!!" Elwin cried, returning to his character. "This isn't her heart! Therefore, you must die!!"

Elwin pulls out a bottle of ketchup, spraying Lillian madly as he pushed her right off the stage into the crowd. She tumbles onto the first table, sighing as she whipped some ketchup off her shirt. "I've got to leave the theater..."

"Meanwhile!" Psycho continued. "Snow White had fled deep into da woods!"

Esmeralda ran around the stage in an exasperated manner, before concluding the awkward display by falling to her knees into the center.

"Soon, Snow White came upon a cottage deep in the woods!"

Esmeralda rose from her spot, looking around with bright eyes. "Is this poor soul saved? Am I released from the terror of the deep forest?"

"Tired from her long journey," Psycho continued. "Snow White found 7 wittle beds to rest in. She fell aseep quickly, not being awaken by da 6 dwarfs soon to arrive."

With this call, Layla, Jude, Molly, Rowen, a short brown haired girl with grapefruit breasts, and Felicity were dragged onto the stage.

They surrounded Esmeralda, who lay on the ground as though she were sleeping, each wore a hat on their heads, and for the most part a dissatisfied look.

Molly bravely began the dialogue. "Oh my! Who is this strange woman in our beds?"

"I say we kill her." Layla said roughly.

"That seems kinda hefty for breaking and entering..." Jude muttered in a frightened manner.

"I say we kill her."

"But she's so pretty..." Molly said, squishing her face gently in the palm of her hands so her lips puckered.

"Okay, we loot her, then leave in the woods." Rowen suggested with a thumbs up.

"You all are an aggressive bunch of kids.." Felicity muttered lowly.

"I say we let her stay, but she pays rent." The girl with the dark brown hair said assertively.

"See, that's sane. That is a logical way to...wait. You're seriously gonna rent your house out to the girl who just broke into it?"

"It seems like the nice thing to do." The girl shrugged.

"That's my baby!" Cana shouted from the crowd, a bottle of beer pressed to her lip. "She's gonna be some business thing, I can tell..."

The girl blushes lightly, smacking her hand to her forehead.

Felicity sighed as she pat the shoulder of Layla. "Okay, this unknown person is sleeping in our house. I say we all grab a weapon and tie her up. If she isn't dangerous, we'll let her go, maybe offer her a job as a maid."

"I can live with that," Layla said, getting right down to business in tying her up.

"Wait--where'd that rope come from?" Felicity spat.

Nashi leaned her head towards Gideon. "Who's the little white haired kid."

Zailo turns his head. "My friend Felicity. She got randomly cast last minute."

"How old is she?" Sylvie said with a smile. "She's so cute."

"17."

They all look to Zailo in shock.

"Really?"

"Yeah...really."

"But they're so tiny!" Nashi spat.

Felicity shriveled up slightly. Molly, who was watching Layla tie Esmeralda to a post at the end of the stage, turned to her. "What's wrong?"

"I think a piece of my pride was just picked off and stepped on..." She muttered lowly.

"After being...tied up..." Psycho huffed. "Snow White awoke from her quiet sleep."

Esmeralda continues to hang her head down.

"Oh gosh, she's actually asleep." Jude whispered to Layla.

She sighed as she cracked her knuckles, then socked it to Esmeralda.

She spat out a tooth in the process, but maintained character as her throbbing cheek turned red.

"Oh goodness! Where am I?" She said in a gentle and naive voice.

Molly was now clinging to Felicity, who was clinging to her.

Layla grabs onto her collar. "Cut the crap woman! What're ya doin in or house!?"

"Oh! Well I'm running from the Evil Queen because she wants to kill for a terrible reason."

"Aww, you poor thing..." Molly hummed. "We should let her stay here."

"For rent." The brown haired girl added.

Layla sighed. "Okay, let's take a vote."

She released Esmeralda's collar and looked to her fellow dwarfs. "All in favor of allowing her to stay?"

Felicity, Molly, Jude, Rowen, and the brown haired girl raise their hands up.

"All in favor of killing her!"

She raises her own hand, standing alone.

"Curses. A tie." She huffed.

"No it's not!" Jude huffed.

Molly goes over to release Esmeralda, who falls flat onto her the moment she releases her.

"Oh thank you kind dwarfs!" Esmeralda sang as she got off Molly.

"Snow White den lived with da dwarfs for some time. But at dat time, da Evil Queen was devising an evil scheme." Psycho explained, the actors exiting the stage as Elwin entered.

"Of course! I'm a witch! I'll just use magic!" He shouted.

He turned around, slipping off his crown and a mask on, he turned back around with a Guy Fawkes mask and a hood over his head.

"Holy crap...that's creepy." Gideon muttered in a hushed voice.

"You can hold my hand if you're scared." Nashi said naturally.

However, Elwin then removes the mask, revealing a hideously deformed face. His skin tattering in different directions.

Gideon feels a chill rush down his spine as the whole audience responds madly to the change in face. His hood creeps over his reddened eyes, displaying only his sadistic, white grin.

Nashi set her hand in the bench, that Gideon vigorously took moments later.

He slips off the stage with howls from the audience, as Esmeralda swept her way onto the stage--that is she was sweeping as she entered.

"Snow White gwew accustomed to da life at da cottage. Da dwarfs would go to work, she would clean da house, cook da food, and help dem to bed." Psycho explained.

Elwin creeped onto the stage. Clearing his throat as it became raspy.

"Young miss..." He hissed. "Would you please accept this gift of mine?" He held out an apple, red as her own hair.

Esmeralda smiled to Elwin. "Of course old lady thing. Thank you."

She takes the apple, eating it pleasantly. After she began to eat, she stood there enjoying herself as Elwin watched anxiously. She glanced at him, receiving a vigorous nod and "ehem".

"Oh!" She choked, swallowing her bite as she gasped then fell to the floor. Knocking her wrist slightly so the apple would roll from her hand.

Elwin laughed, and rushed off the stage, tripping on his cloak and falling into Layla. She fell flat onto her back, Elwin atop her.

"Good show." Layla sighed, pushing Elwin off of her as she sat up.

"Not too shabby yourself." He grinned as he pat her shoulder and gave her a thumbs up.

He pulled her up, brushing past her pleasantly as Felicity watched the interaction, and more importantly, the blush that grew lowly on Layla's face.

She stepped out onto the stage, leading the dwarfs as they all saw Esmeralda "dead" on the stage.

"Crap! They beat me too it!"

Felicity looked around to see the dissatisfying faces of her fellow actors.

She huffed in a breath as she fell to her knees.

"Oh dear Lord above...does thou see the actions of man?" She recited, everyone looked to her awkwardly. "Does thou see the innocent weep, bleed, and die by the hands of the sinners? If this be true, then why do the sinners live! Why must the innocent die?!"

She slammed her fist against the floor of the stage, starling everyone on it. "Can there be no sinners if the innocent do not suffer? Is that it? Is that it my God!?!?"

She hung her head over, vibrantly sobbing as everyone watched awkwardly. Molly pat her back. "There there, it's just a play."

"That isn't the problem--guh." Jude sighed into the palm of his hand.

"Da very sad dwarfs all gathered, ready to burry Snow White. But suddenly! Da Prince arrived!!"

Felicity turned her head slightly to look off stage, and frankly screamed as a white horse rode onto the stage, Xavier on top of it.

He looked a bit uncomfortable, and almost awkward.

Xavier sighed as the horse bucked lightly to get him to say his line.

"Oh...this fair maiden..." He rubbed his temples. "How beautiful she be, what misfortune could occur for her to perish so early."

"Malaria." Jude stated.

"So, uh...can I just kiss her stuff?" Xavier asked awkwardly.

"What, why would you do that?" Felicity stated plainly.

"Yeah 'Prince'," Layla hissed, "why the crap would you do something like that?"

"I don't know! That never made sense to be okay!" Xavier hissed in a hushed tone.

He slipped off the horse, kneeling down to Esmeralda.

He gulped, almost visibly, as he looked down to her resting face. She had long lashes, and a slight smile tugging at her lips lightly.

He sucked in a breath as he pulled his head down, his lips pulling towards Esmeralda's. However, to his surprise, they planted on her forehead.

He turned his head, finding Layla had pulled Esmeralda's feet to drag her body slightly so he'd miss the lips.

Before he could by any means respond, Esmeralda jerks her head forward, slamming her head into Xavier's

They both clap their hands over their heads, groaning in pain as they rub there sore foreheads.

"Holy crap! Didn't have to spring up like that..." Xavier muttered.

"Sorry..." She huffed. "Thank you...oh fine Prince...for saving this young princess."

"She's alive!!!" Molly called, throwing her arms up. "Yay! Now you're getting married! And you'll be happy forever and ever!!"

"No." Layla hissed.

"And dat's what dey did." Psycho explained. "Dey married, killed da Queen, and dey all lived happy eva after...cept da queen."

Xavier pulled Esmeralda up, and they all took hands, raising them up before they bowed.

Felicity, who held Molly's hand, turned to the little girl. "Hey, where's the horse come from anyway?"

The horse quickly changed into Elwin, who laughed as his hands rose up in a wave. However, as he stood in front of the rest, he seemed quite oblivious to the fact he was starch naked.

Jude and Rowen each shot a hand in front of Molly's weeping eyes, as Felicity turned around holding in a laugh.

Xavier and Esmeralda both jumped in front of Elwin, tossing a cloak to him.

"Elwin! I thought you said you worked out changing with your clothes on!" Xavier hissed.

"Funny story...that isn't true." Elwin laughed awkward, covering his privates with the cloak.

They ushered him off the stage as the audience laughed hysterically, rising from their seats to applaud.

As Esmeralda slipped back onto the stage, she took Felicity's hand, laughing as she pulled her to the center.

"Thank you for coming, and I'd like to introduce the newest members of Fairy Tail!" She turned her head to Felicity. "Sorry, what's your name?"

She gulped lightly. "I'm, Felicity--but my fanatic friend is Zailo."

She smiled, laughing lightly. "Felicity, and her lover Zailo."

Zailo shoots up. "No! No no no no no no no!!"

"Bound to happen." Esmeralda shrugged.

"If she went up a few sizes, maybe." Zailo nodded honestly.

"I met him yesterday morning! We're hardly friends!" Felicity huffed with a red face, the guild hall bellowing. "He's not even my type, I like rich guys."

"Ha, you oughta ask Liddan out in that case." Layla huffed. "He's on so many high paying jobs he's rolling in doe."

Felicity's eyes light up. "He into short flat chested girls?"

"He's my brother," Layla began, "and seems to be generally asexual."

Felicity draws, but lifts her head as the guild is swept into silence as the door opened slowly.

A cloaked figure slowly enters. Dragging his foot slightly as his hand traced he door softly.

There was a scarf around his neck, covering up to the tip of his nose.

He huffed lightly as he pulled the scarf down, exposing his open mouth that gasped for air.

His eyes looked crazed and rough, and he lunged forward, dropping his head.

"Sweet honey ice tea..." He gasped. "I got stuck on the train again..."

After a moment, the guild broke into laughter, Natsu rushing over to him as he wrapped his arms around in and lifted him up slightly.

"Ha! Welcome home son!" He swung him around as two exceeds flew in from behind.

"He got so sick on the train that we couldn't get him off when we got at the station. The train started up again and we had to wait another hour before we could get him off for good..." Malcon sighed, dressed in a green jacket and joined by the pink cat, Lugi, who wore a slim black dress the flew around her short legs at its bottom.

"Lugi!" She nodded.

He shrugged off his cloak, dropping his scarf to the ground as he rubbed his brow. "I'm starving, tired, and bruised from here to Bosco."

Mira smiled from behind the bar, waving her hand gently. "I'll fix something up for you. Just let me get to the new members first."

Liddan drew his attention to Mira, as she walked over to Felicity and Zailo, who each stood by the stage.

"New members?" He turned to Gideon, who had joined Nashi to greet him.

"Seems so, we sat next to the new guy during the play."

"Crap--I missed Snow White?!" Liddan smacked his hand to his forehead.

"Layla's gonna cut your throat with a rusty knife." Malcon said with chills.

"Don't say that, Layla wouldn't do that." Nashi laughed, patting her brother's shoulder.

"She couldn't...I grabbed the knife before she could do it." Liddan claimed in a completely serious tone.

"So right here?" Mira repeated.

"Eh...I'm not sure."

Felicity groaned loudly. "Zailo! You're almost naked! There aren't many places left to stamp so make up your mind!"

Zailo stood in nothing but his underwear, trying to decide on a place to put his guild mark.

"This is important! I'd have this mark in the same place for the rest of my life! I can't mess this up!"

Felicity sighed as she looked over to Liddan with his family at the bar.

"Hey, Zailo, do you see that?" Felicity said, pointing her finger casually across the guildhall.

He turned his head curiously, as did Mirajane.

At that moment, she grabbed the stamp from her hands, proceeding to stab it into the side of his stomach.

He flinched as he jerked his body around, spinning slightly as he gave a firm scowl.

"If that wasn't at the top of my list I'd slap you." He said firmly, shaking his finger sternly.

"Well, good then, I guess we're lucky." Felicity said with a smug look, puffing her cheeks gently.

"Well that's good then." Mirajane sighed, slightly relieved as Zailo began to pull his pants on. "Now where do you want it Felicity."

She furrowed her eyebrows, realizing she hadn't even considered where she'd put it. She bit her lip, just as Zailo pulled the stamp from her hands, bending down so his eyes were to her stomach.

She was wearing just a bikini style top, letting her stomach be exposed. His fingers brushed her green jacket to the side, as his hand placed on the side of her stomach.

It was on the right side, just as his was. He looked up to her. "Here okay?"

She blushed lightly, nodding like a child.

He pushed into her pale skin, and pulled back as a bright light slipped past the stamp.

There, appeared a soft pink mark with the Fairy Tail crest.

She felt a chill rush down her spine as she looked down to it.

"Pink?"

Mirajane smiled as she nodded. "It goes by the color the person is thinking of when we put the guild marks on. Looks like she was thinking of pink."

He looked up to her blushing cheeks. "Matches her face."

At that moment, Felicity drove her knee into Zailo's jaw, throwing him backwards.

"Thank you Miss Mirajane." Felicity said with a nod of her head.

"My pleasure, it's nice to have new members since we last one recently." She looked down with a sad look on her face.

"Really? Who'd you loose?"

After blinking once or twice, Mira pulled her head up with her usual smile. "Loose what?"

"You just said you'd lost a member recently." Felicity stated.

"Really?" She pressed her hand to her cheek. "Well I don't recall us having lost any members...perhaps I was thinking of something else."

Mira bowed her head gently then walked back towards the counter in a steady and peaceful pace, as though nothing had happened.

"Well that was weird." Felicity muttered.

Zailo shrugged. "Come on, I'm hungry. I want waffles."

"I will kill you."

"A group of demons?" Natsu and Lucy drew attention to Liddan ask he spoke vigilantly.

"Yeah, 7 of them, I think...I can only assume. I only met 2 of them." Liddan nodded.

"Well how do you know there are 7?" Lucy asked, leaning against the counter.

"Well, for one thing, they were called the seven deadly sins."

Felicity sat just a few seats down, beside Zailo as he chowed down on his waffles with hot sauce. She pulled her head back, leaning onto the back two legs of the stool as she caught view of Liddan.

She leaned back a hair too far, and fell flat onto her back.

The group beside her all turn their heads, Zailo spinning around quickly with a mouthful.

Before anyone could even offer, she shoots up, springing towards Liddan.

"Seven Deadly Sins?" She leaned in, so her face was just in front of Liddan's. "I met three of them! In my old town! There was a blue haired girl...then this black haired one, and this one with black hair, and this really...really tall guy with violet hair!"

"He wasn't really that tall, you're just really short." Zailo added.

"Shut up Zailo."

Liddan's eyes widened.

"Well I met a man and woman, the woman wore this cloak over her face, the guy was...hungry." He explained. "I guess you met another three, what were they doing in your town?"

Felicity crossed her arms. "Not completely sure, the woman...lust I think, she made this big vortex with the rain, but she seemed to just be using it as a distraction so the others could steal something." She sat down in a chair beside Liddan. "She almost killed Zailo..."

"Wow Miss Mirajane, you really are talented." Zailo said in a purposely loud tone. "It's so amazing, I can't believe you remembered the hot sauce! Unlike SOME waitresses."

"Oh can it Zailo!" Felicity bellowed loudly. "You'd be dead if I didn't save you!"

"I don't remember it like that..." Zailo huffed lowly.

"Oh yeah? How'd it go for you?"

Zailo pressed his lips together, silent as everyone watched. "You had bigger milk jugs...and I heroically saved you from the brink of death...then there was this guy in this mask who breathed heavily and choked people with some kind of magic...force thing...and he was my father."

"Go home Zailo, you're drunk." Felicity huffed.

Liddan shrugged awkwardly, and pulled his arms forward to display the back of his forearms. Both real and fake.

"Got a hefty scratch from one of them. It'll make a best story for my kids." He laughed awkwardly.

"Oh...so you aren't asexual." She pressed her lips together as she twirled her hair lightly.

"No...wait--who told you that!" He jumps from his seat. "Layla! Stop telling people that kind of thing!"

"Whaaa?" She gasped innocently. "Why would I ever do something like that?"

"The lady was ultra psycho, and the guy thin as a twig." Liddan felt a chill drive down his spine. "It was a nightmare. But I managed to get out alive."

Felicity leaned in, her eyes sparkling. "How brave..."

"I think there's something wrong with your eyes..." Liddan muttered, watching them shine at an healthy level.

Felicity pulled her head back, clearing her throat.

"Never mind that..." she muttered, crossing her arms tightly.

"Hey, where was your home town?"

"Well, I can't call it a home town...I only started living there around a year or so ago..." she waved her hands awkwardly. "I lived in Oshibana, worked at a little diner. It's where I met Zailo...and he got me fired."

"I thought you said you quit?" Zailo stated plainly.

"I was fired!"

"Really.." Liddan crosses his arms. "What were they there for?"

"Like I said, they just stole something." She shrugged. "It just looked like a slip of paper, I mean it was small enough one of the girls to fit in her bra."

"And that's saying something, cuz her cha chas were huge." Zailo said, making a grabbing motion in the air with his hands.

"You really are a pervert, aren't you..." Felicity muttered lowly.

"Well we need to find out what that was, think, what special thing could your town have that they'd attack you for?"

Felicity wrinkled her nose. "Well...uh...world's best waffles, but that's debatable...lots of outlets, not many attractions for tourists...the Sorcerer Magazine archive."

"Wait, Sorcerer Magazine archive?" Malcon asked, sitting up on the counter beside Lugi.

Lucy snapped her fingers, turning her head swiftly to her son. "That's right! I remember Jason taking me there when I worked for them. They have every single magazine published there. It's a tremendous library. Countless of articles, photographs, and at least one copy of every issue published."

"Well it would make sense that they stole an article or something..." Felicity nodded. "I mean, a article clipping from a magazine fits the description."

"Well great! What do you think they stole?" Zailo asked, draping his arm over Felicity's shoulder.

"Could be anything..." Liddan sighed. "I mean, Sorcerer Magazine has been around so long I'm sure that archive is huge."

"Yeah..." Lucy rested her cheek in the palm of her hand, after a moment, her eyes widened drastically. "Wait! I may be able to help."

Lucy unlocked the door to the Dragneel home, finding Loke and Aries with their children, as they had left them.

"Hey, look who it is!" Loke laughed as he lay on his back, the young Mavis on his stomach.

"Thanks so much guys!" Lucy said, clapping her hands together. "I'm so grateful."

"I honestly miss getting to watch your kids..." Aries blushed. "They were all so cute..."

Loke stood up, patting Liddan's head. "Especially this squirt, he's so much like Lucy..."

"Stop touching me!" Liddan growled as he swiped his hand away.

"See, just like you!" Loke laughed.

Felicity, who was standing behind Liddan, glanced out at Aries, almost in awe of her presence.

"Get out my house Loke." Natsu hissed in a low tone.

"Alright, alright, say hi to Mel for me." He waved, as the two flashed out of the room and the earth in a moment.

"Who were they?" Zailo asked.

"Celestial Spirits." Felicity answered.

"No way! That's so cool!" Zailo gasped, shaking Felicity rapidly.

"Stop it."

Lucy laughed lightly, picking up Igneel from the rug and passing him to Natsu with a grin. "But these rascals to bed, and I'll show the others my own little archive."

"That sounds perverted..." Natsu sneered, bending down and scooping Mavis and Luna up.

"Shut up and put them to bed. You too Jude, you've been out too late."

"Darn it..." Jude muttered lowly as he marched off to his bedroom.

She walked Liddan, Felicity, and Zailo down a hall, Lugi and Malcon flying along until she stopped a door.

"Ever since I joined Fairy Tail," Lucy explained as she opened the door, "I've always been keeping record of when I was featured in Sorcerer Magazine. Any articles, photo shoots, stuff like that."

"That's a bit conceded sounding, Lucy..." Malcon sighed.

"Lugi." Lugi replied in agreement.

"Can it cat!" Lucy huffed. "I also kept issues of whenever Fairy Tail was mention...which soon turned out to be a lot. To the point our entire basement was filled with issues reporting the chaos Fairy Tail got into..."

She flicked on a light switch, and began to make her way down the wooden staircase, the others followed, tracing their hands against the rough cement that built up the walls.

"It's drafty..." Felicity said flirtatiously. "Wanna warm me up?"

Liddan snapped his finger and fire surged from the palm of his hand. Felicity jumped back, up a step or two, in shock from the action. She bumps into Zailo, who steadies her.

"Cool man." Zailo said with a thumbs up as they stepped down onto the basement floor.

The basement was likely to stretch 20 feet one way, and 15 the other. Each wall was covered with book shelves and a table decorated with a lamp and countless transcripts. It had been marked as Lucy's haven for her writing, as well as reading.

Lucy began to dig into some of her archives, tracing her fingers around the carefully organized shelves. Each had a bin marked by the year with every issue from the year within it.

"I don't know if this would help, but I just figured I'd give you some ideas for what they might be stealing..." Lucy crossed her arm. "Getting some simple article seems odd, so if they'd steal something from a magazine archive, I feel like it'd be a picture."

Malcon walked up to a large bin marked "Private" sitting on the top shelf. Filled with curiosity, he tugged at the box until it tumbled down to the floor. Countless photographs spilled out, drawing everyone's attention.

Zailo bent down. "Speaking of photogra--"

He looks at the picture, finding an image of Lucy--much younger--in nothing but underwear.

"What the..." Felicity peaks over to see the image, covering her mouth in an instant.

Liddan does the same, and quickly covers his mouth to contain a hurl.

"Holy crap mom!?" He spat. "You were an underwear model?!"

Lucy slaps the photo from Zailo's hand, it falls to the ground, slowly fluttering in the air until it joined the rest.

"Never." She began, slowly pulling her head up. "Speak of this. Again."

As a chill rushed down the spine of ever other member present in the room, Liddan maintained himself so he wouldn't sob from a significant loss of innocence.

"I thought I knew you...mother..."

"Calm down and start digging." Lucy grumbled, scooping up the photos to pour them back into the bin. "Don't make me do any heavy lifting."

"You aren't pregnant anymore!"

"I know, but if you've given birth to as many kids as I have...your body just screws with you sometimes."

"Wait, how many kids do you have?" Felicity asked, taking notice to the large number of children that seemed to have been under her care.

Lucy gulped. "Seven."

"Dang!"

Felicity sat down on her knees, pulling out the bin from that year. "Alright then, let's start with the most recent year." She tugged the cover of the bin off, pulling out the magazines that were filed as though they were treasured.

She pulls out a magazine, quickly flipping through each page and scanning the text.

Zailo sat down beside her, his eyes watching her intense focus as her own eyes dove through the text. They shot up to him, locking eyes with him in a scowl like way.

"What?"

He pressed his lips together tightly. "Not like it's a bad thing, it's good really, but...why do you care?"

Felicity raised an eyebrow. "What? Is it odd for me to care about my home town?"

"You hated that place." Zailo stated plainly. "If you didn't, you wouldn't have left with me."

Felicity bit her lip and drew her attention back to magazine. "It's important to me. I want to make sure those guys are taken care of."

Liddan looked over his shoulder at the two, Malcon and Lugi at his feet flipping through a magazine.

He frowned, thinking of something that made him feel lonely, but he felt like he couldn't figure it out.

"This might be meaningless though." Lucy stated, replacing a bin on the shelf. "I could be missing some crucial issue or something--"

"Hey mom, when was this?"

Lucy turned her head to see Liddan holding a magazine with its cover ripped clean off.

"Eh..." She walks over, taking the magazine into her hands. "This was almost 2 years ago...I remember. It was the issue they made when Psycho was born."

"Why is the cover missing?" Zailo asked.

"I don't know...who was on it?" Liddan asked.

"I think Nashi may have been on it...but it wasn't just her." She thought long and hard. "Had Sylvie officially joined the guild yet...? Nah, at the time you couldn't get those two in the same room together without starting a fight. I doubt they could've managed to take a simple picture of the two."

"Then who was with her?"

Lucy bit her lip. "I don't know...maybe it was Erza or something."

Felicity crossed her arms, and let her mind drift for a moment. It drew back to her housing condition, and she suddenly panicked.

"Oh my gosh...where the heck am I staying tonight?!" Felicity smacked her palm against her face.

"Wha? Don't worry. Me and Meredith were homeless for, like, a decade. We only broke into houses occasionally so I could take a bath and stuff. Luckily she was a ghost so she didn't have to worry about hygiene and stuff."

Everyone looks to Zailo with wide eyes, all but Felicity, who completely understood what he was talking about.

"Wha?" Malcon muttered.

"Zailo can see ghosts, and up until last night, he was traveling with his dead sister until...she...passed on." Felicity explained. "That's why I came here with him."

"Oh." Liddan stated. "That's really cool...are there any ghosts in here?"

"Yeah..." Zailo points his hand up to the bin above them. "This old guy has his head stuck in there for some reason."

"Wha--" Lucy shouted. "Get out of there ya dead pervert!!"

"Maybe the ghosts present in this home best be left unknown." Malcon snickered.

"Wha, that true?" Felicity takes Zailo's two hands, creating Zailo googles then looking up into the box. "Huh...wow. That really sucks."

"Hey, Felicity, wanna go camping?"

"Camping?"

"Oh gosh how I hate you."

Felicity sat by the fire as Zailo pulled the tent up into place. She wrapped a blanket over her shoulder, sitting awkwardly as he set everything up perfectly.

The tent was dinky, and wasn't all too protective from harmful weather. However, with luck the skies were clear that night, and Zailo and Felicity could sleep under the stars, and not rain clouds.

"Come on, I've been doin' this for years! I know exactly what I'm doing." He hammed down a small post into the ground, securing the tent finally. "You'll be snug as a bug, guaranteed."

"That analogy does no good for my emotional security in this scenario..." Felicity muttered.

He slipped under the small roof of the tent, bundling up in a blanket as he pat the open side to his left inside. "Well come in, get in."

"Heck no! You're a guy! You might do something stupid and perverted."

"Are you at minimum a C cup?"

"Uh...no..."

"Then you're safe."

Felicity scrunched up her face, and reluctantly crawled into the tent. She was forced to squish her body against Zailo's, so it was as though the two were cuddling under the little tent, however, she was frightened as to what might happen if she were to sleep outside the tent with no protection. As she was just a small girl, and if caught unprepared, she could be found in grave danger.

"You smell bad." She stated plainly, though it was really just a faint scent of sweat. She just felt like she needed to complain to break the awkward silence.

"I'm a hobo, don't get too high expectations." He stated honestly.

There was a moment of silence, as Felicity kept her back to Zailo waiting to fall asleep.

"I really miss her..." He stated, rolling onto his back to peak his head out from the tent and to the summer night sky above.

"I'm sorry...I really am." Felicity stuttered. She rolled onto her own back, sharing the view with the odd man she'd met just a bit over 36 hours. She pulled the blanket just a bit over her face, feeling as though her face sold her secret so easily. "Zailo...about Meredith--"

"You're not really like her at all..." Zailo shrugged. "But you still remind me of her, none the less."

"Well, that's very nice." Felicity said plainly. "Goodnight Zailo."

"Night Felicity."

"Welcome home Lugi." Liddan said casually as he opened the door to their cottage.

He opened the door, his hand still on the knob as he watched to see Sylvie and Laurie inside his home, doing what appeared to be aggressive cleaning.

"Guys...I know I asked you to house sit...but I'm home. So go away."

"Yeah--sorry!" Laurie laughed awkwardly, replacing the couch. "We didn't expect you...and we had left the house in rough shape after certain...activities."

"Yeah, I...gosh stop it." Liddan sighed as he planted his hand into his forehead. "Please don't tell me you used my house as a honeymoon?"

"We'll spare you the details...just so you know, we cleaned everything three times." Sylvie reassured.

"Thanks Sylvie....you stayed in the guest bed, right?"

There was a discomforting silence.

"Sure." Laurie said, grabbing their suitcases and slipping past Liddan. "Welcome home."

"By Lugi." Sylvie said, waving to the little cat.

The two left, leaving Lugi and Liddan alone in their quaint cottage. It was rather empty, and most agreed the style of the cottage itself didn't suit Liddan. He'd turned it into some kind of a bachelor's pad, with a female cat living there as well.

There was a garden there too, one that Lugi or Sylvie would take care of, just trying to keep things alive. It was once quite beautiful, but the beauty had withered away as seasons passed and as Liddan went away more and more often.

He just didn't feel at home in the confining walls of the building. It was that single door that haunted him so much.

As he stepped out of his boots, and slipped his false arm arm, setting it onto the kitchen table, he watched Lugi slip into the bathroom to brush her teeth. He followed, taking off his shirt and washing his face off. Lugi sat on the counter, looking up to Liddan with toothpaste slipping out of her closed mouth. He pat her head generously, then stepped out of the bathroom and opening the door that led to his bedroom.

As his head scanned the room, he noticed the clean atmosphere, and freshness of the room. Also, he could actually see the floor, which was new. Liddan could only assume that this cleanliness came from Laurie and Sylvie cleaning.

He tugged of each sock, one at a time, then dropped them into a hamper he kept by the door. He tugged on his belt, unbuckling it then dropping it onto the floor.

He kicked off the pants he wore until he was just in his boxers, and stepped over to his bed.

Liddan fell into the mess of blankets, sheets, and pillows on his bed. He fell on his cheek, his head facing his nightstand where he saw a small thin green vase placed with a note at the bottom.

Welcome home Liddan! Hope you don't mind us cleaning the house for you!

-Sylvie

He looked up to the flower in the vase, enjoying its pleasant appearance until he shut his eyes, hearing Lugi rustling as she entered her own bed at the foot of his. It was a nice color...almost gold, with orange accents. It bloomed greatly from the center, and it had such a vibrancy to it. What was it's name?

It had such a bright smile...bright green eyes. Her hair looked like a waterfall as it flooded down her pale back, meeting just above her thin waist. She'd lean over to feel the petals of the flowers, enjoying their smooth touch and feeling rewarded as she'd brought them to life by her own hand. She'd turn to him, smiling so brightly, so kindly.

"Marigold--"

Liddan jerked his head up.

He rubbed his head, and forgot why he'd awoken. He mumbled lowly into his mouth as he wiped his lips which felt to be lined in drool.

"Lugi..." The small cat muttered from the foot of the bed, tugging lightly on the sheets.

"Eh, sorry." He laughed as he rolled his body up, propping himself up on his single arm. "Didn't mean to wake you."

"Lugi..." She huffed, crawling onto the bed with a struggle. She waddled right up to the small ditch where Liddan's missing arm was, curing up against his bare chest.

He laid himself back down, his head resting against pillow as the small frail cat fell asleep against his warmth.

His fingers caressed the fur on the top of Lugi's head, and he softly said to himself, "I wanna go home" without really knowing where that was.

AUTHOR'S NOTE

Heyo! I hope you enjoyed the chapter, it turned out to be a little longer than I expected, which is kinda good...don't want to keep my chapters too short and stuff.

I thought this lighthearted bit would be a cute way for Zailo and Felicity to join Fairy Tail. During this weird production of Fairy Tail.

The brown haired girl--which if you payed attention--was Cana's daughter. More on her perhaps in the next chapter.

So, to any of y'all reading any of my other stories, which would you like to see a new chapter of the most? Like the Cheers series, Fairy Tales, SAO, all dem and junk. Tell me and I'll be sure I update the story soon.

That's it for this author's note...and this chapter. So see you guys later! I love you all!! And I'm sorry I keep mentally destroying you guys!
