Three days had already passed by. The forest was just like any other normal forest, lots of trees that towered over, making ton of shade for us from the exposed beaming hot sun that was now in the high peak in the clear blue sky. Remember, there was a monster that supposed to stay in the forest.

Angie's lavender eyes narrowed."A monster..." The thought finally crosses through the eighteen-year-old mind, it made her feel uneasy just saying it.

The pathway down the forest was a dusty one, twigs, small rocks, and with some greens bushes on the side. This place would be a perfect place to hide.

Zachary seemed to have taken noticed to the eighteen-year-old, that was completely deep in her own little thoughts."Hey.." He said.

The slayer was snapped out of her thoughts, and brought back into reality when Zachary had spoken up. She looked at Zach.

"Yeah, Zachary?" She says.

"Everything's gonna be fine. Quit worrying." Zachary said with a blunt tone in his voice.

Angie bit her lower lip, he's right."Y-Yeah...you're right." She strutted out.

Zachary raised an eyebrow to why she was so worried about the monster so much, he wanted to pursue on with the question, but kept silent, and turned away from her.

The ocean mage eye twitched, at how so quickly he had suddenly turned away from her or was even bother asking her a question.

The young group of mages continued on their walk to find the way to Almead and the way out of the forest. The only sounds that could be heard was Logan complaining, Sakura yelling at him. But, pass all that there was also sounds like birds chirping which was peaceful.

"Hey, did you hear something?" The ice mage asks suspiciously all of sudden. The other mages stayed silent, and waited. And waited. Nothing.

"Ha! Maybe you're just starting to get scared." The spiked blonde says, bursting out into laughter. Sakura clenched up her right hand into a fist, raising it up, making it come in contact with Logan's face!

The fire mage landed on his rear end, after getting pounced by the ice mage."Okay! Now, those are fighting words, ice cube!" He says, as his whole body was covered in a blazing flame.

"Aye!" The white cat agreed.

"Shut up, cat! I didn't even say anything, ya idiot!" Sakura snapped right back at the fire mage, and the two started having a argument over something stupid yet again.

Rustle

Then, there was a sudden rustling noise up in the tress. Which actually caught all of the mages attention.

"Maybe it's the monster." Sakura grumbled.

"As in like the one that guards this forest!?" Said Kayla.

"That's exactly what am saying."

Then, suddenly a ball of electricity was hurled right straight at the mages.

Sakura used her magic, and then a shield made out of ice appeared before her to block out the sudden attack, which also protected the others as well.

"What do you guys want?!" A voice suddenly says.

Everyone looked to the direction of the voice, and just up ahead of us stood none other then a girl with short, purple hair glaring at them."Was you the one who attacked us?!" Said Logan, returning the same stern stare.

There was a several moments of silence, before the purple-haired girl broke it."I refuse to let some playboy, streaker and their fangirls, Come anywhere near this village's treasure, ya hear?!" She pointed at us.

Kayla placed her hands on her cheeks, cupping them."F-Fangirls?" Sakura and Angie was also was in shock from being called a fangirl.

"I'm the Guardian of this forest!" Said the purple-haired girl. Zachary had a uneasy look plastered on his face, probably because of Kayla suddenly being behind him."Did this chick really just insult us?!" Said The Script mage.

"Can you let go of me now?" Said The Iron mage looking completely unaffected by the purple-haired girl insults.

"But, I'm not a fangirl to either of them!" Said Sakura with tears streaming down her cheeks. Angie's face seemed to drop at the sudden being called a fangirl for the first time ever.

"Playboy?" Whispered Logan. The mysterious girl stood her ground, and spoke up."If you guys are here to take the village's treasure," The purple-haired girl took off a glove that covered the left palm of her hand."I'll just have to stop you!"

The palm of the hand bear a strange marking that didn't look familiar to none of the mages. It was then that the strange marking started to give off a glow. "Power of thee I evoke, Shindo's hammer!" She chanted.

"Ice-make shield!" The ice mage suddenly says, making yet another shield before her. It was because the girl had hurled a ball of emitted with electricity again. But, it had came from shindo's hammer.

"It's a fight you want, then a fight you'll get!" Shouted a irritated Logan from above."Fire Dragon wing attack!" He chanted, sending a counterattack of his own at the girl. The girl dodged his attack just in the nick of time.

Logan landed on the ground a few feet back, just in front of the others. His fists enlighten in flames. The atmosphere in air started to grow tense and heavier.

The mysterious girl pushed her legs forward and sprinted, charging at towards Logan with Shindo Hammer in hand.

Zachary took a deep breath, and opened his mouth."Iron Dragon Roar!" He chanted, shooting a massive amount of magic from his mouth. The purple-haired girl dodged, by jumping to the side.

The ice mage placed her hands on the ground."Ice make Floor!" She chanted, causing the ground in front of her to ice at a great rate. The mysterious girl didn't have time react, her letting her legs slip out from underneath and falling onto her back, which cuases to let of the hammer.

"Okay, Logan now y-" Kayla turned to check on Logan, but he had also gotten caught in Sakura's magic and was trying to keep his balance."Damn it, Sakura!" Said Logan, and fell forward making his face come into contact with the ice.

Sakura placed her hands on her hips."What a idiot." She said shaking her head. It was before then, that Sakura cancelled off her attack making the ice break apart.

Angie took the chance and walked over to the purple-haired girl. When, she finally made her way over the mage. She held out a hand."We didn't come here to fight you." She said, calmly.

"Then, you guys are here to take my village's treasure." Said The purple haired girl.

"Well, after seeing how much you went through trying your best to stop us-" Kayla spoke up, she looked towards the girl and smiled."-It shows us how much you're willing to protect it, even if it's causes tou your own life."

The purple-haired girl looked at each one of the mages, with widen eyes. Before, grasping onto Angie's hand and standing up, dusting off the dirt on her clothes."Okay. I'll take you to make village." She said.

"Huh? R-Really?" Said the blond haired mage with a shocked and surprised look plastered on his face."Of couse, it's the least I can do." Replied The girl.

The girl looked over at her hammer, levitating it over to her side. Grabbing it, with a firm grip. Angie noticed it and glanced at the girl.'she can use telekinesis.' She thought.

"Where is your village anyway." Said The iron mage, with a suspicious expression on his face."And who are you?" Asked Sakura.

The purple-haired girl turned to all of them, with a smug look glued on her face."My village is Almead. And my name-" She paused for a moment, and beamed a smile at them.

"My name is Hayden. And I'm the one the few Guardians who protect this forest and one out three other mages of my village."
