|Author's POV|
As the group of potential S-Class wizards reached the island of Tenrou, disaster was about to strike.
It was something that their master had been warned of, but because of his pride and ignorance, he completely dismissed it. However, who could blame him? It was someone who he hadn't talked to, much less trusted, in the last 10 years of his life. But at the moment, none of the Fairy Tail members knew that encounter he had with his sister. He distrusted her so much that he had brought her along on the trip to keep an eye on her. He thought it was just going to be hard working S-Class trials, but that was not all that was to come. No, not at all.
It had stopped raining, which was both loved and hated. Storm and Sylvia were the ones that hated it, they both absolutely loved the rain ever since they were little. Meanwhile everyone else loved that it had stopped. They didn't have to worry about another 30% chance of the ship going up in flames. Nashi was already a 50% chance of that happening.
Speaking of Nashi, she was currently laying on the wooden deck with her back to the wood, face up, having just woken up from a nap (surprisingly). She was out of it, still tired from running around all this morning.
The deck was still soaked from the rain, but Nashi didn't mind it. She needed to cool off anyway.
Storm was actually right next to her, he had fallen asleep not long before Nashi woke up. He was nearly as tired as her.
She was thinking about pulling a prank on him, like she did every time she caught him sleeping. But she let him be.
In fact, she rolled over in her side and just stared at him. It was crazy, she rarely got to see him this calm before. He was usually spitting out retorts or just getting plain mad at her, but when he was sleeping it was like... it was as if he was longing for rest.
His mouth was partly open as he snored lightly. His hair was messily over his closed eyes and lashes. Storm's elbow was underneath his head, as a pillow of sort.
"Pretty ain't he?" Someone asked from above her.
She wasn't thinking when she said, "Yeah..."
Nashi widened her eyes and looked above to see Kyra towering over her.
She suddenly got motion sickness. Nashi got up and ran to the side of the ship and started throwing up. Oh Mavis help me.
Kyra followed her, she rested her arms on the wooden ledge, "Do you like him?" She asked straight up.
Nashi was holding her hair up in one hand and holding the edge with the other, "No of course-" She threw up, "not."
"So I can ask anyone and they would tell me the same thing?" Kyra taunted.
She wiped her mouth with her arm before saying, "Yes." Matter of factly.
"Okay then," Kyra immediately turned around and yelled, "Rosema-"
Nashi covered up her mouth with her hand with her eyes widened, "anyone but her!" She removed her hand.
Kyra rose an eyebrow, "alright then. Ga-"
Her mouth got covered up again, "or him!" Nashi didn't know if Storm liked her or not, but if Gale knew the answer then she wasn't going to chance it.
"Syl-"
"NO." The same thing had just happened to Kyra when she was about to call a couple more names too.
"Well then who do you want me to-"
She got cut off again, but this time it wasn't by Nashi.
The ship had been attacked. The wood splintered and the ship had shaken, knocking everyone off of their feet. The side of the ship had an almost unbelievable hole. Luckily, everybody was on deck when it happened so no one got obliterated.
But that didn't exactly mean that everyone was alright.
It was chaotic, Gale had fallen but rushed over to where Sylvia was to see if she was alright. She was sitting down and had gotten knocked over on her side by the blow, "Yeah, yeah I'm fine." she reassured.
Lily fell down on a hard impact, she went face first into the ground. When Ro went to help, her nose and head was bloody and her eyes closed. Lily had passed out. He himself was not alright, he was leaning against the rail of the ship and fell forward. When he tried to catch himself with his arms, it hurt horribly and might've fractured a bone.
The one who was the most alright was Asuka, Myko had went underneath her in time and caught her before anything horrible could've happened.
"Kyra I can't hold you much longer!" Nashi yelled from below her. She was currently holding on to the rail of the ship with one hand, attempting to keep her and Kyra from falling into the ocean. They were close to the edge of the ship while they were talking, causing them to almost fall overboard.
Kyra swallowed and yelled, "just hold on until someone can get us!" She took a glance below her, there was the water crashing into each other. It was something she didn't want to get mixed up in.
Nashi just stared at her hand and yelled, "One of you help us!" despite the number of people on the ship, everyone was injured one way or another, not only that but everyone was screaming and yelling. No one was really able to hear her, even if Nashi has an extremely loud voice. She turned her head down to Kyra with a face of panic, "be prepared." her fingers were slowly coming off of the ledge, she wasn't going to be able to hold on for long.
Her hand finally gave in, and it came off the wooden rail. They were freefalling for about a half a second before someone came and grabbed Nashi's hand.
They looked up and saw that it was Storm.
He grunted as he pulled up Nashi, she got a hold of the ship for good this time and pulled herself up as Storm helped Kyra get back on deck.
"Are you two alright?" he asked with sincerity.
Kyra nodded and said, "yes."
But oh no, Nashi was just not going to give him a hard time about it, "Oh yeah I'm fine, but you could've came just a couple seconds earlier?! A second too late and we could've been sea food!"
Storm's right eye twitched, "well sorry for saving your life you ungrateful brat." he retorted back.
"Guys!" Hal yelled, he pointed to another ship, "What the heck is that?"
Kazi, who's been quiet the whole time, was suddenly taken back by the gigantic ship in front of them. It was unbelievable. She had't ever seen anything like it, ever. Standing next to her was Miza, who knew exactly what was going on.
A/N: I don't think I ever explained this, but Laxus allowed Kazi to go solo. Sorry for the complication!
Miza turned her head and glared at Laxus, who himself was in shock.
I told you this would happen, she thought.
