"Achoo!" Raiden sneezed loudly as he prepared himself a cup of hot tea.

He woke up feeling terrible. which he isn't too surprised since it was freezing last night and his stupid brain decided it would be fun to go out for a night stroll, now his main concern is, he is sick on Christmas of all days.

"Are feeling alright?" Luke asked, quick to check his temperature with his hands.

"Not really." Raiden groaned, taking a sip from his tea.

"I don't think I can come to the guild today." He said, slowly walking towards the couch.

"But it's Christmas, there's gonna be a party and Gramps is gonna be there," Luke whined.

"I'm sorry." Raiden groaned out in an apology. "A party would be too much for me."

"If you're not going, then I'll stay here with you." Luke pouted.

"No, you go, I'll be fine. I can take care of myself." Raiden replied.

"Are you sure?"

Raiden nodded. "I'll drop by the guild if I can."

"What do you mean he's sick!! He can't be sick on Christmas!!" Nova shouted.

"Poor guy, he loves Christmas," Lissanna added.

"If Raiden's not here then who is gonna make all the Christmas-themed drinks," Cana said.

"Really mom? That's your take on this." Caleb raised a brow.

"What are we going to do? He can't miss Christmas." Evergreen said.

"I have an idea." Sylvia smiled.

Fairy Tail went on with their party just as usual however, Elwin took it upon himself to film the entire thing.

Raiden is watching a movie under four layers of blankets while drinking the tea he made.

He heard the door open which is odd because it was still rather early and he expected Luke to come home much later.

To his surprise, it was not just Luke who entered the apartment.

"Merry Christmas!!!" The crowd cheered, and they brought food and presents with them.

"Since you can't come to the party, we brought the party to you." Luke cheered placing down bottles of beer.

"Luke, what's with, "I am sick" do you not understand?" Raiden raised a brow looking at the bottles on the table.

"It's not beer, it's apple juice," Sylvia added.

"So, you put apple juice in bottles of beer."

"Yeah, it's not beer but it sure does look like one." Caleb smiled.

"You guys are so weird." Raiden chuckled.

"We brought gifts as well," Rosemary added.

"Reiki's also here." Justin pointed at the redhead beside him.

"Wow, it's a Christmas miracle." Raiden smiled, but his tone was extremely monotone.

"At least try to sound a bit grateful you bastard!!" Reiki shouted.

"What movie are you watching?" Caleb asked.

"A Nightmare on Elm Street," Raiden replied casually.

"It's Christmas and you're watching a horror film. What the hell is wrong with you!!" Damon shouted.

"He simply has taste." Rin sneaked in and sat beside Raiden and started watching what was left of the film.

"Seriously, you guys don't have to do this," Raiden said.

"But we want to," Luke said, Elwin filmed the party as well so we can watch it together.

"We can't let our sweet little Ray Ray not celebrate Christmas."

Raiden got a bit teary-eyed by the gesture. "Thanks, this is the best Christmas gift ever."

Raiden expected to simply lie down on the couch and watch movies all day. But to his surprise, he ended up spending Christmas with his friends. They watched the party that Elwin filmed as the others shared their own stories of what happened, they watched movies, played games, and gave gifts.

Being sick on Christmas doesn't seem to sound so bad anymore.
