Nasha's fist clenched, how can someone be so cruel to their own flesh and blood.

"Stop it Nasha, I don't want to talk about it."

A voice rang in her ear. There's a reason for everything, she's grown to use those words to convince herself that everything is alright. But that's influenced by her own biases.

The man before her chuckled. "That useless runt deserved it, she had one job and she screwed it up!"

He lifted his hand and looked at Greige. "Now, young man, if you know what's good for you give me Dearo."

"Not happening!" Nasha shouted.

Greige's grip on the drum tightened as the man walked closer to them.

"Who are you? And what do you want with the drum?" Nasha asked, her stance unwavering.

"Right, how rude of me." The man chuckled. "My name is Leonard Vargas and I'm the master of Crimson Death." He introduced himself as he shot his attack towards Greige's arm.

Greige screamed in pain, dropping the drum in the process, as it rolled towards the man, who picked it up immediately.

"Greige!" Nasha rushed towards the raven-haired teen who clutched his arm in pain.

"What did you do to him?!"

"It's steam," Reiki spoke. "You knew about Greige's water body and used the element's weakness against him."

"I saw his fight against Lilith and his annoying little trick," Leonard said. "But, now that you're facing me, you brats won't stand a chance!" He cackled and banged his hand against the drum to make a sound, but the drum broke into shards of ice.

"What the-"

Greige chuckled. "I'm not letting you anywhere near this drum." He lifted his other hand, revealing the drum encased in a protective sphere of water.

Leonard gritted his teeth and prepared another steam attack on the raven-haired teen, but before he could do so, Reiki and Alice lunged in and attacked the man.

Alice grabbed a hold of the man, using her chains with hooks at the end that dug through his skin. Reiki with his sword placed directly on his neck.

"What's your goal? What's Dearo's involvement with this?" Reiki interrogated the man.

"I thought you already knew." Leonard raised a brow. "Oh well, our goal is relatively simple, we want to strike fear in everyone, we'll show what Crimson Death is capable of doing. As for Dearo..." He trailed off and chuckled.

"What?" Reiki pressed the blade closer to his neck.

Leonard smirked and the chains that held him snapped. The blade that was pressed against his neck melted. He then lunged in and slammed Reiki and Alice to the ground.

"Dearo, we'll use Dearo to kill everyone on this train." Leonard grinned as he pins the two mages down on the floor.

Reiki and Alice struggled to break free from his grasp.

"I won't let that happen!" Nasha shouted and attacked Leonard with her fiery fist, but was knocked out by a water attack.

"How in the-" Nasha gritted her teeth, her hair, and clothes soaked in water. "I thought he has steam magic."

"My magic is much more complex than that." Leonard chuckled, his grip tightening in Reiki and Alice.

Alice slowly raised two fingers and two chains erupted from the ground, wrapping around Leonard's shoulder, pulling him backward this gave Reiki the opportunity to attack, but just like last time, his weapon melted the moment it contacted the man. Alice then rushed over to Greige.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah," Greige nodded. "That stings way more than Nasha's fire, but I'm good." He got up, his right arm slightly bruised.

Reiki distanced himself from Leonard as his attacks did no damage to him.

"'You use matter manipulation magic. Don't you?" Reiki stated.

"Matter manipulation." Greige breathed out, thinking of all the times Leonard cast a spell, something seemed to click in his head.

Leonard nodded. "Figuring out my magic won't help you, I'm here for the drum, and finish our goal." He pointed a finger towards Greige. "I'll be taking care of the water wizard first." Another wave of steam flew towards Greige.

"ICE GEYSER!"

Leonard was taken aback by the sudden defensive attack.

"Matter manipulation magic is incredibly powerful, but you have your limitations," Greige spoke. "Your attacks are solely based on your surroundings, we're on a train, so of course, you have access to steam, you got access to water because of me and you used that against Nasha, and you can only bend the things that made contact with you, Reiki's swords and Alice's chains. Though that is just based on what I saw, I could be wrong."

Greige's analysis of their opponent's magic, gave Reiki the idea of the perfect weapon to use against the man that might work if the raven-haired mage's observation was correct.

"Let's test that theory shall we," Reiki smirked, requiping a large black sword with silver trimming and a gold design in the middle.

"That sword." Nasha is rather shocked that the redhead even has that in his arsenal.

Reiki lunges toward Leonard and used the sword to attack.

"I'll just melt that thing out of your hands." Leonard snickered.

"We'll see about that." Reiki simply pointed the blade at Leonard. The tip of the blade wasn't even close to the man's chest, and yet Leonard is knocked back out.

"That's one of the wing blades from Auntie Erza's Ataraxia armor," Nasha spoke.

"Oooh... Someone's a thief~." Greige teased the redhead.

"I didn't steal it, I borrowed it!" Reiki retorted. "If it wasn't for this blade, we would have lost."

"Actually, if Greige didn't figure out Leonard's weakness, we would've lost," Alice stated.

"True." Nasha nodded in acknowledgment.

Greige simply giggled at his teammate's antics.

"If you think that I'll be defeated that easily you're highly mistaken." Leonard slowly got back up. "I won't lose to a bunch of fairies."

"We know the limitations of your magic old man, you can't surprise us anymore!" Nasha declared.

"Don't get cocky kid!" Leonard retorted back, he then grabbed onto a metal bar sticking out of the cabin's wall, and he used his magic to twist the metal around and direct an attack toward Nasha, which she dodged. Using the said metal, she boosted herself up and leaped toward Leonard and gave him a fiery punch in the face. Reiki then swooped in with the sword he had used earlier.

Leonard growled and grabbed both Reiki and Nasha by the arm and threw them out. Alice saved their fall by holding onto them using her chains. Greige went in and used a water attack.

"Didn't you learn anything! I can evaporate your water attacks!" Leonard cackled and released steam out of his palm and directed it towards the water attack.

Greige smiled at that very moment. Leonard was taken aback by the teen's reaction. Shards of ice hit him afterward.

"How in the-" Leonard groaned as the attack hit him in full force.

"You do know you can freeze water right?" Greige smirked.

"Damn you," Leonard growled as he stood back on his feet. Eyeing the floating water sphere in front of him where Dearo is encased in. He needs that drum back to finish what they started.

"I could only assume that you used Dearo to control the passengers of this train and made them kill each other," Reiki said. "How despicable." He gritted his teeth and tightened the hold of the sword in his hand.

Leonard laughed. "I watched it all happen and hearing their cries as they tear each other apart is music to my ears."

"You make me sick." Nasha scowled.

Leonard tapped his foot on the wooden floor. The cabin's floor started shifting and molding.

The floor beneath them molded into a cocoon-like structure that trapped the Fairy Tail wizards. Alice however, reacted fast enough to avoid being trapped.

Chains erupted from the floor, this time. However, the chains looked different; they looked exactly like Alice's whip sword she used on her first job. The chains moved with speed, breaking apart the cocoon that the group was trapped in. While this was happening Alice manifested a pair of chains out of her palms that launched, and hooked themselves to the ceiling, lifting her up. She then kicked Leonard in the face and with a backflip, she landed on both of her feet gracefully.

"Damn." Reiki and Greige breathed out as they watched the scene before them.

Reiki then requipped back the Ataraxia sword, moved to the side to get a decent view of his enemy, and from his distance slashed Leonard with it, ending the match for good.

"You're amazing back there Alice!" Nasha gleamed with joy as she gave the lilac-haired teen a big warm hug.

"So, is it over?" Alice couldn't help but ask.

"I think so." Nasha smiled.

Leonard is lying on the floor, unable to move, but even in his defeated state, he laughs.

"What are you laughing at." Nasha looked down at the man. "You lost."

"Not quite yet." Leonard's hoarse voice spoke. "Everyone in this train will still die. Even if I go along with it."

"What are you-" Nasha proceeded to interrogate the man, but Greige interrupted her.

"Guys, we have a problem."

"What is it?" Reiki asked.

"The train driver is dead," Greige spoke, and Leonard laughed at this.

"I might have lost this battle but Crimson Death won the war." The man cackled.

"What are we gonna do?" Nasha started to panic. "There are still passengers on this train, we have to save them. Does anyone of you know how to operate a train?"

"Why would anyone of us know how to operate a train?" Greige raised a brow.

"I dunno, it's the only solution I could think of." Nasha retorted.

"There has to be an emergency brake in there somewhere." Alice prompted.

"That's it!" Nasha snapped her fingers in delight. "Where's the emergency brakes?" Nasha glanced over to Greige.

"How should I know!"

The fight is over, but now they have to stop the train from crashing and killing everyone on it.
