"Thank you guys for joining me on my first mission." Alice smiled as they took a train ride.

"No problem, I'm curious about your magic, I heard it's similar to Master Hades," Nasha said.

"Who?" Alice tilted her head.

"The guild's second guild master, Master Hades also uses chain magic," Reiki said. "He used a couple of different magic as well but I heard it's the first magic he learned."

"Oh well, the pressure is on." Alice nervously chuckled.

"Don't worry about it too much, just focus on you." Greige comforted the lilac-haired woman.

"Master instructed us to keep our involvement to a minimum, this is your first job after all," Reiki said, and Alice nodded.

The group arrived at their destination. Alice's job is really simple. The client asked Alice to gather a good amount of white Wyvern scales. This means the group is currently hiking through the cold winds of Mt. Hakobe.

"Are you alright Alice?" Nasha asked.

Alice nodded. "I'm fine. My father and I gather white Wyvern scales from time to time so this job is right up my alley." Alice chuckled.

A monstrous roar is heard from afar. "Seems like we don't have to look for too long," Nasha commented.

Alice nodded and lead her way towards the beast. The group quietly approached the Blizzardvern that was currently eating its meal. Wyverns may look dragon-like, but they're herbivores.

"There's only one, but I can gather a good amount of scales outta him," Alice said, and sneaked towards the animal.

"Be careful."

"We'll be here if you need any assistance."

Alice nodded and gave the group a thumbs up.

"Let's do this nice and steady," Alice told herself. She used her magic to erupt chains from the ground to tie up the Blizzardvern. She has to work fast as the Blizzardvern can break the chains in a matter of minutes.

Alice leaped close to the beast and pulled some sort of handle out of her belt.

"Whip Sword!" Alice exclaimed. Multiple segments of blades attached by chains erupted from the handle. Alice used this to chip out as many scales as she could while keeping her guard up as the Blizzardvern can break the chains that are suspending it at any given moment.

"You can really tell she already did this before," Reiki commented.

"Yeah, she's a natural." Nasha smiled.

The beast struggled but eventually broke free, but Alice expected as much. Her chains aren't that durable. They can easily be broken.

The Blizzardvern flew up in the air and prepared for its attack. The creature tried to grab Alice using its black talons, but the young lady isn't gonna let that happen.

She grabbed the talons and with all her might prevented herself from being captured by the creature.

A chain erupted from the ground and wrapped around the beast's neck, knocking it down enough so that its talons were nowhere near the chain mage.

"I gotta knock this thing out if I want to retrieve those scales. But my chains are short if I attach them to weapons." Alice said to herself. "What am I gonna do? Think Alice, think."

Alice is used to her father's assistance during these kinds of things. This is her first time dealing with a Blizzardvern on her own. The logical side of her wants to seek help from others, but another part of her wants to accomplish this on her own, as this is her first mission as a member of Fairy Tail.

"Should we help her, she looks like she's having trouble," Nasha said.

"Master said we should keep our involvement to a minimum, we'll help her if she calls for it," Reiki replied. "Besides, she seems smart enough to get her way through this dilemma."

Alice took a deep breath and wrapped the chains in her hands a few more times just to get a tight grip. With all her might she swung the chain towards the beast. A huge boulder that was tied using the chains hit the creature, knocking it down.

"She did it!! She knocked it down!!" Nasha exclaimed with joy.

"Told you she can figure out a way," Reiki said.

Alice smiled as she overcame the obstacle. She noticed movement through the snow where the beast was. She used her magic to bind the beast, restricting its movements completely.

"You did it!!" Nasha shouted in joy as she ran over to Alice and gave her a hug. Reiki and Greige followed suit.

Alice giggled and hugged Nasha back, spinning her around.

"I did." Alice smiled. "But it won't be long until the Blizzardvern breaks my chains, can you guys help me collect the scales I chipped off earlier," Alice asked.

"Sure thing!!" Nasha giggled and the group got to work.

"You did a good job handling that job on your own." Greige completed Alice during their train ride back to the guild.

"I have previous experience, that's the main reason I did so well. I still have a lot to learn." Alice said.

The group immersed themselves in conversation until the group arrived at Hargeon.

"We're back!!" Nasha greeted everyone at the guild as she opened the double doors.

"How did the job go?" Yaje asked.

"It went great." Alice smiled.

"Yeah, Alice is amazing, she is able to completely annihilate that Blizzardvern." Nasha said with a wide smile.

"That's a complete over-exaggeration of what happened." Alice sweatdropped.

"You know what, why don't join our team." Nasha turned over to Alice. "It'll be nice to have a girl around."

"I don't think that's necessary." Alice shook her head, a tint of red on her cheeks.

"C'mon, it'll be fun." Nasha slung her arm over Alice's shoulder.

Greige nodded. "It'll also boost our team's power." By the mention of this, Reiki perked up.

"I agree, based on your performance, you'd be a great addition to the team." Reiki nodded.

Greige chuckled at the redhead's reaction.

"This is great!!" Nasha slung her arm around Alice's shoulder. With a loud cackle, she screamed.

"We are one unstoppable team!"

That night, Alice walked the long path to Fairy Hills. The cold night breeze flew through her skin. Her communication lacrima rang. She picked up the device and answered the call.

"Hello, How are you, sweetie?" A soft gentle voice asked through the communication lacrima.

"I'm alright Ma, the guild is incredible, they're very kind and welcoming, very rambunctious but that is to be expected." Alice giggled.

"That's good to hear."

"Also, I joined a team," Alice added as she continued walking forward, as she told her mother stories of her experiences in the guild.
