"Lucy..." I can't manage to get out any other words

"Huh?" Lucy turns her head

"Are you gonna be ok?" I worry about Lucy

"Yeah the doctor says that I'll just need some time to rest." Lucy says

"Well that's certainly a relief." Erza adds

Almost as soon as Erza's done talking we hear an announcement.

"Let the Grand Magic Games commence! The next match is Kaiya from Fairy Tail Team A vs Rai from Lamia Scale!" The announcer says

"Well..." I say "Looks like its my turn...I'm gonna show em who's boss!"

"Yeah!" They all yell

We say bye to Lucy and tell her that we hope she'll get better soon. The rest of Fairy Tail Team A and I head out. I set foot into the arena and just before the fighting match starts I look behind me so I can look at my guild mates sitting in the audience. 

"They're all cheering for me! I can't let them down!" I think to myself

"Yo!" Rai yells

"Huh? Oh! Um what is it?" I ask

"You're hot." Rai says

"Uh...thanks I guess..." I say while feeling really awkward

"Hey you wanna go out sometime?" Rai asks as if he already knows the answer

"I'm too old for you kid." I laugh

"What?!?!? I'm freakin 17!" Rai yells

"Oh...I'm 16... Wait just wait a sec! Your tryin to tell me that YOU are 17 years old? You sure don't look like it." I say

"Hey watch it you!" He shouts "Height doesn't matter..." 

"I'm sorry. You just don't look like a 17 year old. I would've guessed that you were 12 or something." I tell him the truth

"Well...your not too tall yourself!" Rai replies

"I'm taller than you." I say

"Ugh..." He makes a face

"Hahaha." I laugh 

"Whats so funny?" Rai asks curiously

"You." I reply

He doesn't look mad anymore. He's smiling

"Your totally into me." Rai says as he crosses his arms "You know you want to go out with me."

"Are you serious? As if I'd do any such thing!" I say

He scoffs and avoids my gaze. 

"The match will now begin!" The announcer yells
