We're all at Honey Bone Lodge. Everything is quiet...it's not usually like this. Its almost eerie how silent things are. I look around the room. Everyone has this serious look on their faces.  Then I notice that Gray isn't here. Is he still mad about the event? 

"Come on Gray..." I think

I need to see him. Its not in the relationship type way though. Heck no! Gray has Juvia. She might go all yandere on me. I just really want to see him. I have to talk to him about something.

Suddenly Gray just wanders in here as if he had heard my thoughts. He looks up at us and then continues to head to his room door.

I quickly think about what I'm going to do next. After I gather my thoughts I walk over to Gray's room door and catch it before it can close. I let myself in and gently close the door.

Gray looks a bit surprised. I somehow just notice that Gray is sitting on his bed...with no shirt on...not that this is new or anything. He always wears his shirt off.

"Um..." I start to speak

"What is it?" Gray asks

"Well..." I turn my head to look at his room and find that it is kinda junky

"Come on. Spit it out." Gray says

"I just wanted to say thank you." I finally get out my words

"Thank you? For what?" Gray asks

"You know back when we reached the end of the Labyrinth and found out that-" Gray interrupts me

"Oh you mean that little fall you almost had? Its nothing." Gray assures me with a smile

"I just wanted to tell you thanks since...I was too embarrassed to tell you before... " I laugh

"Again its nothing!" He gets off his bed and smiles

He smiled again too. I can see right through it. That smile looks forced. 

"Aw man...I knew it. He's still upset about the event..." I think to myself

"Gray... you gotta stop beatin your self up." I say bluntly 

"What?" Gray's surprised

He turns his back to me. I put my hands on his shoulders and forcefully turn him around. Gray again has that surprised look on his face.

"Don't you get it?!?! You have to fall sometimes! It makes you stronger and more powerful than ever! It gives you a chance to defeat them the next time! So stop beatin yourself up about a small failure! Its only the beginning!" I yell as I shake Gray

His head is down looking at the floor with my hands still on his shoulders. His hair covers his eyes so I can hardly see them. He still looks like he's in his little mood from what I can see.

"Only one thing to do..." I choose to use my last resort

I raise my hand. I then swing it towards Gray's face. Gray then quickly grabs my hand to prevent it from slapping him.

Gray starts to raise his head and his hair no longer covers his eyes. I see that he's smiling.

"Thank you." Gray says

"Uh... Don't mention it." I smile genuinely "Don't you even think about sulking on us again. Got it?" I say

"Got it." Gray laughs

I open the door and slowly walk out of his room. Natsu and the others stare at me in confusion.

"So what was that all about?" Natsu asks

"Oh nothing..." I reply happily

They all look at each other in a "whats going on" type of way.

I disregard that though. It was really bothering me to see Gray down like that... It would bother me if any of them were down matter of fact. I'm really happy...happy that I got a chance a help a friend.
