Lucy's POV

A KARAOKE CONTEST IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ME GETTING RENT MONEY!?!? "Mira! Me and Natsu HAVE to go on a job TODAY!" I shouted emphasizing the words have and today. "Come on Mira! Please!" Me and Natsu begged. "No." Mira said. "Besides since it's a contest there's a prize!" Mira said in a song-songy voice. That peeked up my attention. "Prize?" I asked. "Yes. A prize! There's three categories that we have: Solos, Groups, and Duets. I'm the one signing everybody up, I already have you and Natsu down for a duet!" Mira said, being a little more happy with the last parts. "That's because they liiiike each other!" Happy said. I started blushing scarlet that would put Erza's hair to shame. I looked over at Natsu and I saw that he had a little blush on his cheeks as well, not as deep as mine. "You signed me and him? U-up for a d-d-duet?!?!?" I shouted. "Yep! I also signed up Happy and Carla for one as well!" She said looking evily at Happy. Happy started to fall down, like his wings weren't working. "Me and Carla?" He asked. "Yep!" Mira said cheerfully. "Yay." Happy said with hearts in his eyes. "Okay then." Mira said looking back at me and Natsu. "So you need anything else?" Mira asked sweetly. "No. No we don't." I said walking away slowly.

Natsu's POV
I can't do a duet with Lucy! She's my best friend it would be wrong! Lucy had already walked away and I started talking to Mira. "WHY WOULD YOU MAKE ME SING WITH HER?" I asked/ shouted. "Because," she started. "I need my ship to sail." "Ship? Please don't make me go on it!" I begged Mira. Even the thought of ships made me feel queasy. "Oh Natsu." Said Mira laughing at him. "It's NOT funny! I'm sorry for yelling at you! Just don't make me go on your ship!" I pleaded. I walked away from the bar hearing Mira chuckling. "HEY FLAME-BRAIN!" I heard Ice Stripper say. I wasn't really in the mood to fight him right now so I ignored him and walked out of the guild carrying Happy who still has hearts in his eyes.

Gray's POV
"HEY FLAME-BRAIN!" I shouted. He ignored me! Why would he ignore a perfectly good moment to get in a fight with me? I walked up to Mira and asked her what was wrong with him. "Hey Mira, what's wrong with Natsu?" I asked her. "I don't know." She said in her innocent voice which meant she was lying. "Okay." I said simply and walked away. "Hey Gray!" I heard Mira shout. "Yes?" I shouted back. "Come here! I don't like yelling." I jogged back to where the bar was and Mira handed me a bunch of papers. "I can't fill out the paperwork this time!" I shouted remembering the gigantic mess me and Natsu made. "That's not what this is. I just want you to hand out and pin up these flyer for me please." Oh. "Yeah. I'll do it Mira." "Really? Thank you!" Mira squealed. I rolled my eyes and started walking to hang up some of the flyers.
