(Y/n)'s POV

"(Y/n), Gray, Lyon, Juvia and Hibiki are Group 1," Gildarts said then told everyone else's groups.
"The first competition will be a relay. Egg and spoon races...but instead of having one spoon and egg, you'll have 4," Erza said.
"What?!" everyone yelled at almost the same time.
"Get to the starting line."
"Who's going first?" Gray asked.
"I'll go," Hibiki volunteered. He took the four spoons with eggs carefully.
"Oh, forgot to mention one thing. If you drop the egg, the person going has to start again." That just made it harder.
"Go!" Hibiki went down the 50m lane carefully. Natsu was ahead of him. At least he wasn't last...but he was second last.
"Come on, Hibiki!"

He came back without dropping any eggs. Lyon went. There were about 10 groups in total. Even the teachers were competing. They must be groups 9 and 10.

We were catching up very slowly. Lyon came back, Juvia's turn. Why was I last?! Come on, Juvia, don't drop the eggs. She came back safely. Gray went.

"Juvia was really scared that she would drop the eggs."
"Well, you did a good job because you didn't." She smiled.
"Thank you, (Y/n)."

Gray had managed to catch up, we were now 5th place. He came back and passed it to me. I took it carefully and quickly went. I looked at my opponents.

Mystogan smiled, determined that he would win. I gave him a look that said 'Oh you're on!'. I sped up and made it back at the same time he did.

"Okay, the first challenge is complete. Here are the points/ranks:
1st place: Group 9
2nd place: Group 2
3rd place: Group 10
4th place: Group 3
5th place: Group 1
6th place: Group 7
7th place: Group 8
8th place: Group 5
9th place: Group 4
Group 6 got eliminated for coming last. The next competition will be finding an object on horseback. You will each be given a piece of paper and that will be the object you'll need to find. There are 9 horses. The team that gets there first will choose first and so on. Go!" Erza said.

I ran to a horse with big black eyes and smooth brown fur. Her name was Snow. I smiled at her. There was a pouch on her saddle. I took her reins and led her to my group. I opened the pouch. Inside, there were five pieces of paper. Apparently, there were only eight of each object.

We all got a piece of paper. I had to find a rose quartz. Gray got amenthyst, Lyon got diamond, Juvia got jade and Hibiki got topaz. Why were these objects all gem stones? I got on Snow.

"Good luck, (Y/n)," Gray said.

I smiled at him but before I could say anything, the whistle blew. We also had to always be in contact with our horse... Great *sarcasm*.

Where did I find a rose quartz? I needed to find one quick before the others did. Snow seemed to notice me thinking.

"What is it, girl?" She looked at me with knowledgeable eyes.
"Do you know where they are? Show me."

I held onto her reins while she cantered to a waterfall. There was a rose quartz in the pond. How was I supposed to get it from up here? I made a small hook pouch thing with a piece of cloth from Snow's pouch and I got a stick to connect to the hook pouch thing.

I was just about to tear it out when I heard the hooves of another horse. I saw Rufus on a black horse. Damn it.

"I need that rose quartz," he said.
"Forgive me sir but as if I'll give it to you." After I said that, Snow galloped away. He chased after me. Oh, so it's like this now?
"Go find your own!"
"I'm afraid you took the last one." Grrrrr.
"Faster." She galloped as fast as light. I smiled to myself. Rufus's horse wasn't as fast. I made it back.
"Good girl, I'm glad I chose you." She neighed in response to my statement. I fed her a sugar cube. Gray got on.
"There could be competition out there, be careful."
"Gotcha." With that, he went off.
"Wanna play cards?" Hibiki asked. I nodded and took Gray's place.

~Some time later~

"Here are the rankings,
1st place: Group 9
2nd place: Group 2
3rd place: Group 10
4th place: Group 1
5th place: Group 3
6th place: Group 7
7th place: Group 4
8th place: Group 5
Group 8 got eliminated. The next competition is a team activity. Basketball in the ocean!" Makarov announced. Seriously?
"Group 1 is versing Group 10..." Gildarts announced who everyone was up against.

Group 10 had Orga, Rufus, Warrod, Freed and Laxus?! *gulp* I hoped we could win against the teachers...well, mostly teachers. The whistle blew to signal the start of the game.

We had the ball first. Juvia passed it to me. I swam towards the middle of the court. Orga came at me. I threw it to Gray. He caught it but it got snatched off by Laxus. The game continued like this for some time.

~At the end of the competitions (Sorry for the long timeskip)~

We had gotten ready for the Hawaiian themed dance tonight.

"Are you both ready?" Mystogan asked. We nodded. Mystogan opened the door and held it open for me.
"Ladies first," he said in a butler-like voice.

I laughed. They were both fighting over who was escorting me to the beach, which was where the dance was.

"Stop!" They stopped and looked at me.
"You can both escort me, that better?!"

They nodded. Gray was on my right while Mystogan was on my left. We went to the dance and some people, that were currently living here but got invited to the dance, fangirled.

"Omg! She's getting escorted by two cute boys! I wonder who they are!"

I quickly pulled them away. I didn't like it when things like this happened. Meldy looked like she was alone.

"Hey Mystogan, she looks lonely. Go talk to her."
"Okay." He went to her.

~After eating~

"It's time for the dance!" Makarov said into the speaker.
"May I have this dance?" Gray asked.
"Of course."

The music started. For some reason, our movements matched each other's perfectly. Soon, we were in the middle. I was sorta nervous. The dance ended and Gray took this moment for a surprise.

"(Y/n), I have loved you ever since the first second I met you. You are beyond beautiful, inside and out. I will be by your side forever, I will never leave you. I love you with all my heart." Tears filled my eyes. He kissed me. I heard clapping around us.
"*cheers* Go (ship name)!" Lucy and Mira shouted.
"I love you too."
