(Y/n)'s POV

We had just got back to our dorms. I had changed into my pj's, which were black leggings and a loose grey shirt with hello kitty on it. I brushed my teeth and combed my hair.

"Hey (Y/n), are you alright?" Lucy asked.
"Yeah..."
"Well, let me know if anything troubles you."
"Okay, thanks." She smiled then muttered something to herself something about Lyon. I went to bed.

~In the middle of the night~

I woke up and couldn't fall asleep. *sigh* I wish I could just tell someone about my secret...but I was afraid I'd be punished if I told. What would I do? I got up and went to the music room. I hope I didn't wake anyone up.

"Can't you sleep, child?" I jumped. It was the principal.
"N-no, sir."
"That was a beautiful song. Come with me for a walk." I nodded and followed him to the garden. I looked at the stars.
"Fairy Tail is family. Don't isolate yourself from others. Family help each other, that's just what we do," he exclaimed.
"I don't isolate myself."
"You don't, do you?" he asked then added, "Think about it. How long are you gonna keep your secrets inside? Aren't you suffering enough?"
"I'm fine-"
"Are you?"
"I...don't know." I looked at him.
"We cry together, laugh together, endure everything together. You'll learn soon enough." What if I...couldn't learn before because I never had a real family?
"Go to bed." I sighed and went back to my dorm.

~The next morning~

I got up and changed into my uniform. I brushed my hair and teeth. I did a few more things before going outside. Lucy and Levy left me a note saying that they were in the cafeteria. I got an apple and two slices of toast.

"Hey, did you hear that singing last night?" Lucy asked.
"I heard that too. Was it a dream?" Gray exclaimed.
"It felt like a dream yet like the real thing," Levy added.
"(Y/n), did you hear it?" Natsu asked.
"I heard it very clearly because..." Should I tell?
"It was you, wasn't it?" Gray asked. I nodded hesitantly.
"Were you purposely trying to wake us up? But it was amazing...as usual," Erza complimented.
"Thank you, I wasn't trying to wake you guys up. I just...couldn't sleep."
"Oh, really?" Lucy asked. I nodded. I finished my breakfast.
