(Y/n)'s POV

We were at the entrance of school.

"Just wait, I'll call a taxi-"
"No, I'll get us a ride." Both their eyes sparkled.
"That limo?"
"No, a Ferrari." Their mouths fell open.
"How many cars do you have?!"
"Just those two, hold on." I called Albert and asked him if he could drive us. He said yes and that he'd be here shortly.
"Our ride's coming." A few minutes later, it arrived.
"Please, milady." Lucy flashed him a smile. I stayed silent. We all got on.
"To this address."

I handed him the note. Albert nodded and drove us there. There were a few people waiting to go in. For some reason, there was a red carpet.

"Omg! Who are they?! Look at their ride!" I stepped out, followed by Lucy and Levy.
"I-isn't that (Y/n) (L/n)?!"
"It is!" I kept on moving as if this was normal.
"Those two with her must be her friends!"
"Lucy, Levy, come on." They quickly hurried over. We went inside.
"Whoa, this is fancy," Levy commented.
"How did Natsu even find such a place?" Lucy asked.
"Who knows?" We were just wandering around. Where were they?!
"Hey (Y/n), we're just going to get some drinks."
"Oh okay." Someone rushed past me. I tripped but someone caught me.
"Are you okay?" Gray asked. I nodded.
"You look beautiful."
"T-thanks."
"Where are they?"
"Getting drinks."
"Natsu and the others left without me. I've looked everywhere."
"How did you guys even afford this?"
"We were saving up for a long time. Natsu and Gajeel had a big crush on Lucy and Levy. I just decided to help them."
"Who's your crush?"
"*blush* W-what?"
"I mean, you must have one, right? You went along with their plan."
"I didn't have one back then but I think I might like someone."
"Who?"
"Not telling." He smiled at me. He looked good in his tux. Wait what?
"Where's our table?"
"Over there." He pointed to a far corner.
"Come on." He grabbed my hand. *blush* Gray led me to the table. Lucy and Levy came as well.
"Have you guys seen Natsu or Gajeel anywhere?"
"No, sorry."
"But why?" Gray asked, smirking.
"N-no reason!" Levy answered quickly.
"Hey guys!" Natsu said out of nowhere.
"Eek!" Lucy shouted.
"Where were you guys?!" she asked.
"Just walking around." Seriously?
"Your food, ladies and gentlemen," the waiter said. He handed us the dishes.
"Wow, this looks amazing," Lucy commented.
"You really think so? I ordered it," Natsu said.
"No, it was me that ordered it, you goofball!" Gajeel argued.
"Calm down, I was the one that ordered it," Gray said.
"Do you have proof?!" they both asked at the same time.

Gray held up a receipt. Lucy and Levy sweatdropped. We started eating but Natsu had already finished. Some people around us were staring at him.

"Um Natsu? You might want to eat more...appropriately," Lucy said.
"Sorry." When we finished, the dessert came. It was (favourite dessert). After eating, an announcer came out on stage.
"Alright gentlemen, grab your girlfriend and start dancing!" G-girlfriend? Guess I'd sit this one out.
"May I have this dance?" Gray asked. He held his hand out.
"Sure." I took his hand. He led me to the dance floor.
"Why are we in the middle?" I whispered to Gray.
"I honestly don't know." Lucy was dancing with Natsu and Gajeel was with Levy. *sigh*
"What's wrong?" Gray asked.
"Nothing." He smiled gently at me.
"You can tell me." I looked away from his gaze.

Lucy and Natsu looked like they were having a lot of fun. Levy and Gajeel were a bit awkward together but they were still having fun. I looked into Gray's eyes. My heart fluttered for some reason. He spun me but suddenly lost his grip. I felt someone else take his place.

"Hey, I'm Lyon."
"(Y/n). Where's Gray?"
"Dancing with Juvia."
"Why?"
"I just wanted to introduce myself."

I saw Gray with Juvia. She had a dreamy look in her eyes. Gray made eye contact with me. He mouthed 'get him to swap back'. I looked at Lyon.

"Can I get Gray back now?"
"Why? Aren't I good enough for you?"
"It's not that." He leaned down to kiss me, I pushed him away.
"How could you?!" Everyone stopped and stared at us. I ran outside.

Gray's POV

Lyon leaned down to kiss (Y/n). A wave of jealousy went through me. She pushed him away and looked upset.

"How could you?!" She ran outside.
"Lyon, why did you do that?!"
"Gray-sama! You only care for Juvia, right? Right?"
"Lyon cares about you more than I do." I glared at him and ran after (Y/n).
"Lyon, why did you do that to (Y/n)?"
"Just wanted to see Gray's reaction."

(Y/n)'s POV

I was standing in the garden, looking at the stars. Tears brimmed my eyes. How could he try to play with my feelings? We just met.

"Hey (Y/n)!" Gray ran up to me. He was panting.
"What?" I asked coldly.
"What Lyon did was just a misunderstanding. He only wanted to see my reaction."
"Why didn't he do that to Juvia? Since that's who you like, right?"
"No, what makes you think that?"
"She's so obsessed with you. Sometimes, if someone's like that, you'll feel sympathy for them and spend more time with them, then fall in love."
"That's not what it is with Juvia. I just find her annoying. I mean, sure she's a friend but nothing more."
"Why do you care about me so much? You could've just left me here." He lifted my chin up.
"I can't leave a friend like that." I hugged him.
"Thank you for thinking me as a friend." He pat my head.
"You'll always be my friend." We headed back.
"(Y/n), are you alright?!" Lucy asked, rushing over to me.
"I'm fine."
"Don't worry, we punished Lyon for you." Lyon had a red bump on his head.
"Sorry about that, I just wanted to see Gray's reaction."
"But why Gray of all people?"
"He'll tell you soon."
