(Y/n)'s POV

"Oi Natsu? Want some help?" It was Sting.
"Nah, we're good," Natsu replied.
"Alright, listen up! The match point won't be in the next match," Laxus said.
"What do you mean?"
"It will be a race, sorta like a relay. The first person runs around the school then tags the second person. The second person grabs a bike and rides around the school and tags the last person. The last person will swim 26 laps of the pool."
"Who made that change?"
"I did."
"Who said you could?"
"I did."
"But-"
"Shut it. Decide who the three people in your team will be."
"I'll be in your team," we all said at the same time. Everyone sweatdropped.
"Hey Laxus, are subs allowed?"
"Yeah, if you want but just means we can have them as well."
"...deal." He smirked and called three people. Evergreen?! There was also a girl with green hair and a boy with black hair.
"Sorry Natsu but we promised Laxus," the girl exclaimed.
"It's alright, Bisca." Who was on our team? Natsu, Gray, Gajeel, Sting, Rogue and myself. I was the only girl?!
"Alright, who's the fastest runner here?"
"Don't know. Natsu, how about you go first?" Sting suggested.
"Sure."

He was up against Bickslow. Gajeel was gonna switch on for him in the middle. The whistle blew. Natsu and Bickslow took off. Gajeel and Freed were making their way to midway. Gray and I were doing the cycling. I was going first. Sting and Rogue were going to the pool. I was up against Evergreen.

"Sorry (Y/n) but I have to win this."
"I won't go so easy on you just because you're my teacher."
"I don't expect you to."

Natsu, Gajeel, come on! I put on my helmet and got on. Now time to wait. Gajeel was coming and he was in front! He tagged me.

"Go (Y/n)!" I took off. Evergreen was right behind me. *gulp* I had to win this...for myself and for my friends!
"Quite a lot of determination you have there," Evergreen commented. I ignored her.
"Don't ignore me."

I kept cycling. I needed to get further ahead. She cycled close to me. Was she planning on knocking me over?! Not a chance. I cycled harder and almost made it to midway until Evergreen grabbed my shirt. No, I was gonna fall. I saw Natsu on the pathway.

"Natsu!" He flicked something at her. She immediately let go. I reached where Gray was.

"Go now!" He took off.
"What did you shoot at her?"
"Bubblegum."

Bisca was gonna catch up to Gray. I hoped she wouldn't cheat. Natsu and I ran to the pool. We waited until they got here. Sting was going first. Gray's in front! Come on, just a little bit more. He tagged Sting and he immediately jumped in the pool. Laxus jumped in straight after. Laxus caught up to him and went past.

"Come on Sting! We're all counting on you! (Y/n) needs you to win this! She might even go out with you!" Natsu shouted.
"What?!"
"I'm just kidding," he said with a cheeky grin.

Gray looked like he was...jealous? But it was almost immediately replaced with a smile when he noticed that I was looking at him. Laxus was still a little in front.

"Go Alzack!"

Alzack? So that was his name. He jumped in. Rogue jumped in a few seconds later. It's up to you now, Rogue.

"What was that about going out with me?" Sting asked.
"No."
"Why?"
"I can't-..."
"Why not?"
"Sorry but I can't." He sighed and smiled.
"Don't worry about it." We waited until the race was over. Rogue won! Everyone cheered.
"Thank you...everyone."
"We'd do anything for a friend," Gray said.

For some reason, I didn't really like to be 'friend-zoned' by him. But whatever. Laxus grunted and left. Freed, Bickslow and Evergreen followed him.

"Hey, I didn't get to introduce myself. I'm Bisca, that's Alzack."
"(Y/n)." She smiled and left. Alzack went back wit her. They looked like they were dating.
"Want to go back?" Gajeel asked.

I nodded. I started walking back. I was glad I had friends like them. But what did I do to deserve them?

"Hey (Y/n), wait up!" Everyone caught up to me.
"Do you need to go anywhere after?" Natsu asked. I shook my head.
"Great, we'll meet you here." He gave me an address.
"Thanks."
"Make yourself look pretty, I think Gray wants you to," Sting exclaimed, smirking.
"What?! I never said that. *blush*" Gray argued. I went to my dorm.
"Did Natsu or Gray or someone give you an address?" Lucy asked. I nodded. She smiled.
"Great. I'll help you if you want."
"I'm fine, I don't want to trouble you."
"You won't be troubling me at all. I find it quite enjoyable."
"Yeah, she goes crazy," Levy added.
"I do not!"
"Don't believe her."
"O-okay."
"Hey!" I had a quick shower and came out in a towel.
"I hope you don't mind but I went through your dresses and picked out two," Lucy said.

I looked at them. One was black and showed my curves. It was sparkly and off-shoulder. The other one was white and kinda swayed while I walked. It had diamonds sewed into the dress. The bottom kinda looked like a flower.

"Um...how about the (black/white) one?"

They both nodded and pushed me into the bathroom with the dress. I finished changing. Levy did my hair while Lucy helped with my makeup. I lent Lucy one of my dresses. It was a red, velvety dress that showed her curves. One shoulder was uncovered while the other had an embroidered sleeve.

I did her hair and Levy helped with her makeup. Levy wore her own dress, which was a light orange one that had flower-like sleeves. The bottom had flower designs. She did her own hair. Lucy and I helped with her makeup. We were all ready to go.
