(Soren POV)

A couple of days have passed since the Lullaby incident as I return to my Dungeons to level up more to become stronger. Leveling up and earning rewards helps keep me motivated. Busted my ass taken strong fighters and monsters. Thankfully my skills come in handy to somewhat even the playing field. Currently fighting against funking Dante himself from the Devil May Cry series. Right now wearing my black coat too.

Dungeon-Devil May Cry V

Vergil:.......

Soren lvl.54: Damn it. It's gonna be he-oh shit!

Vergil didn't waste any time already in front of me for a slash attack. I summon Dante's main sword called "Rebellion" to block then push him away. Both of us get in a fighting position.... Next we cross swords multiple times moving around fast speeds trying to keep up with him. The battle is intense! This dude is no joke! No wonder Dante's fight against his twin brother was never easy. Vergil can kill a normal man in seconds turning into mince meat. I tried my best to deliver a couple of strikes and dodging his attacks.

Soren: K-krgh.

Parry each other's swords until Vergil swung hard that knocks me off balance as he landed powerful strikes and signature finishers exactly like in the game.

Soren: Aaaghn!!

I lost a lot of my HP! Literally! Quickly grab a Hi-Potion to restore some of my health. Switch Rebellion with Kirito dual wield swords from Sword Art Online. Use the Speed Force to move super speed with yellow and orangish color lightning emanating for my body like the Flash. But Vergil seems to anticipate my movements to block each attack. Decided to move faster so Vergil wouldn't be able to see my sword strikes. End up dealing good damage. Went for a Starburst Stream that dealt major damage. Glance my MP to see it's still good just went down some. Vergil shot Judgment Cuts at me as I use Full Counter to send it right back at him! He ends up dodging it and gets behind me and slashes me on my back before I have time to react. I've stumbled a few feet away. I'm getting annoyed by this dude! Vergil activated his Devil Trigger/Sin Devil Trigger that not only change his appearance, it also increases his status immensely with Yamato.

Vergil: Your nightmare begins here!

Soren (0_0): Oh, give me a break!

At an instant he knocks me onto a wall with follow up of dozens of astral swords it totally hit me hard! Faceplant onto the ground with my black coat all tattered.

Soren: Y-yep. I hate him. I hate him with passion.

Slowly gotten back up seeing Vergil create an astral duplicate of himself! Not to mention I'm his current form and it heals his HP!

Soren: Well......shit.

Multiple astral swords appear around me. Vergil commands his astral blades to fire.

(3rd POV)

The powerful burst of demonic energy destroyed astral swords from The Gamer Devil Trigger transformation. Devil Trigger change his appearance and boost status dramatically!

Soren: Bring it on!

They dash towards each other in fast speeds. Soren went for a slash attack at the actual Vergil, Soren blocks Astral Vergil strike by materializing Shield Heroe Shield and kicked on his gut to knock him away. The Gamer Spider-Sense was tingling that is telling him to dodge! Instead of dodging he simply use Full Counter send it right back at Vergil dealing some damage. Soren glance at Devil Trigger points going down, has to act fast before it's timed up. He fought hard against both Vergil's at the same time. He used both astral hands covering both arms grabbing them and slamming each other that staggered Vergil and tossed him away.

They reverted back to normal after their transformation time out. The Gamer use Shield Prison to trap Vergil in it except he sliced into many pieces without any effort. The two cross blades once more. Soren duck to sweep kick Vergil off the ground except he jump then deliver a few Judgment Cuts which damage Soren. Vergil spin slash at Soren who activated one of The Flash skills, it is Flash Time to dodge Vergil blade even unleash Chidori stab into the Son of Sparda chest. Time reverted back to normal, but it didn't stop Vergil slashes at Soren in fast speeds. Stab into Soren despite the Gamer Body should've protected him from all injuries. And yet; the dungeon of Devil May Cry V plays it's own rules. Soren did what Nero would do.

Soren: Right back at ya!

Soren pant a bit.

Soren: 'Gotta end this soon as possible'!

After a couple of minutes Vergil is on his final HP.

Soren: Time to end this!

Summons his shield from Shield Hero once more to activate one of the Naofumi skills.

Soren (😮‍💨): Finally it's over. I swear every dungeon keeps getting harder and harder.

With that he exited out of his dungeon back into the real world within his apartment and took a shower to wash off the sweat from his fight against Vergil. Switches into casual clothes and flop onto the bed feeling tired despite having Gamer Mind and Body that keeps him from feeling exhausted.

Evening

Soren: Welp. At least I'm not Sung Jinwoo because he doesn't have Gamer Mind nor Gamer Body. Despite having a leveling system by that mess up God statue or the God that created the Leveling System. I wonder if there's a world where I'd have that particular leveling system? Meh.... Think about it later. No quest. No Guild. No women. Just some peace and qu-

Soren (😑): I spoke to soon. I'm coming!

He got off the bed walking toward the door to opened it to see.....Greed himself!

Greed: Yo!

Slam!

Slams the door close about to leave until Greed reappear in front of Soren who back away from The God of Greed.

Greed: Well that wasn't nice.

Soren: What the fuck do you want, Greed? I thought seeing each other was a one time thing.

Greed: Just here to see how you are doing. Hmmm....it seems you've been getting stronger in a quick paste. Although it is not enough to defeat Achnologia.

Soren: I know. My guess is he has to be in the upper hundreds. I mean it took seven Dragon Slayers to defeat him.

Greed: Now then.....shall we catch up? I'll have my maid make us some tea.

Soren: Your maid?

A woman came out of the portal to reveal none other than Belfast from Azure Lane. Soren jaws drop and blush heavily to see beautiful silver hair and a busty maid standing next to her.

Greed: Can you make tea for us, sweetheart.

Belfast (smile): Very well, Master Greed.

Greed: Oh, just so you know.... She's mine. There's plenty of Belfast in the multiverse.

Soren: Dude! I am not trying to steal her from you! I'm not that kind of guy!

Greed: Right. I forgot you're still a pansy that hasn't got laid ever nor gained a single woman since you arrived in this world.

Soren: Hey! Shut up! I'm just waiting for the right time, okay! Plus.... Just not used to having one.

Greed: Grow some balls, kid.

Soren: Fuck you!

Belfast pulls her master right ear while smiling at Greed with an intense aura.

Belfast: My love. Please behave or.... you'll be sleeping on the couch again for another week.

Greed (💦): S-sorry.

Soren snicker.
