The ball! Graylu!

An: Dedicated to @SkyTheDerp. So sorry it took me so long. Also, sorry for the horribleness.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   "Ah. I'm so dead." Lucy sat forlornly at the bar, laying her down. As a dark gloomy shadow fell over her.
  "Ne ne, Lu-chan, what's wrong?" Levy questioned, very concerned for her fellow bookworm.
  "I have no rent. I had to use all my money to buy more food because Natsu and Happy eat all of it." Lucy glared at the childish duo.
  "I wish I could help you, unfortunately, I spent all my money on books." Levy sheepishly raised her book.
  "I'm so dead!" Lucy wailed as she clutched her head in misery.
  "Why don't you pick a job, Lucy?" Mira asked politely as she brought over a drink.
   "The rent is due tonight at midnight. There isn't enough time to do one." Lucy took a gulp and immediately spit it out. "What is this?"
   "Hmm. I might have one for you though. Its for a ball. Oh, and that was for Author-chan." Mira pulled out a piece of paper and handed it to Lucy as she poured the drink out.
  "NO! My shake!!" I wailed pitifully as the girls looked at me weirdly. "Oh, right. I'm not allowed to put myself in the stories anymore. Stupid restraining order." I go off to sob in a depressed mushroom corner.
   "Mira, I would love to do this, but I would need a partner. And Natsu is out on a mission with Happy." Lucy sighed sadly. "Ne, Levy, do me a favor and put pictures of my favorite books on my coffin."
   "Well, now Lucy. Natsu isn't the only partner you could have. What about Elfman?" Mira pulled her younger brother out of a random closet.
   "Dancing is MANLY!"
   "Shut up, you big goon! Dancing is nowhere near manly. It is a delicate procedure. You ould just clomp your way through the floor." Evergreen threw her fan at him. And Mira threw him back in a closet.
   "Hmm. Freed could work. He has manners." Levy added.
   "No, he's on a mission. Hmm. What about Loke?" Mira added with hearts in her eyes as she pulled out her drawing board.
  "No, he would probably flirt with all the girls there. Max?"
  "No, I can't see them as a couple. Gajeel? No, wait. He wouldn't work either."
  "You're right. Laxus?"
  "No. Hey, who said it has to be a guy from Fairy Tail? What about Hibiki?"
  "You're right, Mira. But I don't think that would work." Both Levy and Mira stared at the board, thinking very hard on who to set Lucy up with.
  "Hey, guys. What are you doing?" Gray came along and sat beside Lucy. The pair of matchmakers faces lit up as they both simultaneously pointed at the ice make stripper.
  "Gray! We choose you!"
 "Choose me? For what?" Gray looked at them, completely baffled and a little scared. After all, you never know what Fairy Tail girls can do. And also the fact that he hasn't told anyone he was secretly a pokemon. That too.
 "Well, first to put clothes on..." Levy motioned at his, ahem, natural state.
 "Crap!" The stripping Jack Frost raced around trying to find his pants.
  "And second, to go to the ball with Lucy. It will be just like Cinderella!" Mira clapped her hands in satisfaction as she and Levy got to work on the duos wedding.
 "What about Juvia? I'd rather enjoy living." Lucy pointed out.
 "Don't worry about her. We got this." The matchmaking duo threw on matching trench coats and sunglasses, then disappeared in a poof of mist.
"Umm... I guess we're going together?" Lucy looked at Gray questioningly.
"Guess so. I'll pick you up at 8." Gray then disappeared in a poof of mist. Well tried too. He couldn't quite manage to succeed like Mira and Levy. Poor Gray did it wrong and got stuck on the chandelier that gramps put in the guild. Don't ask why. He just did. Unfortunately, nobody saw him until he crashed on the table. Two hours later.
~~~~~~Time skip brought to you by a lazy author~~~~~~~~~~

  Lucy was just finishing up her make up when a knock came from her bedroom door.

"Be there in a minute!" Lucy yelled as she straightened her blue dress and grabbed her keys. She opened the door and sighed, irritated.

 "Wow. Lucy. You look amazing." Gray held out a a white rose corsage thingy.

"Gray. Clothes."

"Crap! Why does this keep happening!" Gray proceeded to find his clothes and put them on as Lucy giggled. Classic Gray. Once he got them all on, he held out his arm, like the gentleman he is. "Come, Miss Lucy, our carriage awaits." They then proceeded to head out the door. And faced a giant ice carriage pulled by white horses.

 "Wow. Did you do this?" Lucy looked up at Gray, amazed.

 "Gray did the carriage, we did the rest." Mira stepped out from behind the giant ice car, decked out in the full fairy Godmother outfit, accompanied by Levy in a coach man outfit.

 "I lost the bet. Don't want to talk about it." Levy grumpily opened the door and ushered the two inside.

  "Now, remember. Be back by midnight." Mira waved them off with an authentic looking fairy wand that even sparkled.

 ~~~~~~~~~~~Another time skip~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  Levy opened the door and helped Lucy down, followed by Gray. "Thanks again for coming with me, Gray. And also for not barfing." Lucy shuddered, grateful that she didn't go with Natsu.
  "No problem, Lucy. Shall we dance?" Gray took her by her hand and spun her around.
  "Be sure to be on the lookout for a short man with red hair and a mask. Its our job to protect the rare perfumes." Lucy reminded him as she looked around. (Wonder who it could be?)
  "Of course, don't worry. And I promise not to destroy the ball room like flame brain would." Gray smiled humorously as he continued to spin his partner around.
  "Thank you. I really need all of the payment. And I need to cut Natsu off. He breaks into my apartment, eats all my food, breaks stuff, and sleeps in my bed. He's like Goldilocks." Lucy placed her hands on Grays shoulders as they continued to dance, getting lost in the soft music.
  "You should, he can eat at the guild. Maybe you should tell Erza."
  "I will." Soon the hours flew past, from their dancing. And a lazy author who doesn't know how to write dance scenes. Eventually the ball passed, without any trouble, as the couple danced.
   DING DONG DING!
   The clock tower rang, signaling that it was 11:30, and Lucy needed to head home soon, or else she would lose her house. Lucy's eyes widened and she looked at Gray, panicked. In unspoken collaboration, the duo raced out the door, to face a melting carriage.
   "Ice make: Carriage!" Gray helped Lucy into the carriage and climbed into the coach's seat, because Levy was in the bookstore and couldn't drive them. "Hyah!" And eventually they made it to her apartment, just as her evil landlady was doing the paperwork.
  "Wait! I have the money!" Lucy ran up to her, waving her arms frantically. She then paid and got to keep her apartment. After she paid, Gray escorted her to her apartment. "Thanks again, Gray."
  "No problem, Lucy. I had fun." Gray said as he smiled at her.
  "Me too." The two locked eyes and leaned in slightly, when.....
   "Oi! LUSHI! There's no food in the fridge!"
  "NATSU! GET OUT!" Unfortunately, the night ended, due to Natsu being an annoying brat. The end!
Me: And that is the tale of Lucyella. Sorry for the horribleness.
Natsu: Yeah, it sucked.
Me: Hey! Erza!
Erza: Natsu! -starts chasing him with a thousand swords-
Natsu: Lucy! Help me!
