I sat on a barrel in the Guild Hall as everyone around me started making battle plans. I stared my hands as I stroked Happy's fur. He thought cuddling with a cat would make me feel better, but really, I was only doing it to make him feel better. Natsu leaned against the wall next to me. And I could feel his eyes on me.

"Come on Lucy cheer up." Gray said to me. "It's not your fault that you're an Elf. The game chose for you."

"But I still made the decision to hit random." I told him. He didn't know the truth. "All I had to do was pick an option, any other option. And none of this would've happened."

"Now you don't know that." Happy said.

"But isn't it true?" I asked. "I've brought trouble to the Guild because I was to stupid and foolish to make a decision for myself."

"Now cut that out." Natsu demanded. I jumped as his sudden outburst. "Since you joined the game, you've done nothing but make decisions. Where to go and who to trust. You didn't have to thank me that day in Hargeon. You didn't have to come talk to me, you could have left the place you might have been discovered. You didn't have to run away with me to Fairy Tail, or off to save Macao. And you didn't have to trust us as a Guild. You made all those decisions that have led you right here. And I gotta say, I wouldn't want to have it any other way."

"Natsu." I said. I honestly didn't think he paid that much attention.

"You are Lucy of Fairy Tail! A powerful Elf and friend." Natsu told me as he placed his hands on my shoulders. "You're family Lucy, and we will go to hell and back for you." I looked over at Gray and Elfman stood behind him, I looked across the Guild at everyone around me. Everyone was smiling at me, and I knew they wouldn't want it any other way either.

But I'm not them.

Suddenly the ground shook, and dust fell from the raptors.

"Outside!" Alzack yelled dont the basement steps and everybody took off outside. When we stepped outside, we were met with the sight of a giant moving building, making its way toward the Guild in the middle of the bay.

"It's a giant Guild Hall!" Happy said.

"It's Phantom!" Loke said from somewhere in the crowd. I could feel my eyes widen as I took a breath in. It stopped moving in the water, and a giant cannon came out of the center of the building. A giant black mass started forming as it charged.

"Everyone get back!" Erza yelled as she ran forward, towards the edge of the cliff. "Requip."

"Erza what are you doing!" Natsu yelled and went to chase after her, but Gray stopped him. Erza slammed her shield in place right as the cannon fired and I watched as Erza's heels started digging up dirt. The attack created a large amount of wind and I had to hold onto my hood to make sure it didn't go anywhere. Once it stopped firing, Erza was thrown back and her armor was torn to shreds.

"Erza!" Natsu yelled and we ran to her. Her magic energy was depleted, there was no doubt about that.

"She's the manliest one in the Guild." Elfman said.

"Your strongest have fallen." Jose's voice could be heard over a sound system. "Hand over Lucy Heartfilia or all of you will suffer the consequences."

"Lucy's not going anywhere with a monster like you!" Bisca yelled out and everyone around me started cheering and yelling back at Jose.

"I won't ask again." Jose said, and I knew he wasn't talking to the Guild. He was talking to me.

"We will never betray her like that!" Erza yelled as she stood up, shaking like crazy clinging onto Natsu and Gray just to be able to stand. "You'll have to kill us first!" My breath hitched when she said that, and I could feel tears running down my face. I slammed my hands to my mouth to keep me from crying out.

"You have fifteen minutes to hand her over!" Jose's voice echoed. "And when the time runs out, all of you and that precious Guild Hall of yours will be completely wiped from the game!" After he said that there were black looking ghosts racing towards us.

"Lucy. Come with me." Mira said and grabbed my wrist, before dragging me away and around the back of the Guild hall. "There's a hide out that Reedus is going to take you to. You'll be safe there."

"What no!" I said and ripped my hand away from her. "This is my fight, and I'm going to stay!"

"Lucy this isn't just your fight, you're part of our Guild and family." She told me. "We're honored to be able to be a part of this." She then waved her hand in front of my face, and I started to feel drowsy. "Reedus, keep her safe." Mira said as she laid me down in a carriage and I fell asleep.

"Lucy. Lucy! Lucy!" I shot my eyes open, and someone was leaning over me.

"Ahh!" I screamed and threw my fist at them.

"Lucy calm down, it's just me." I looked to see Reedus holding his nose.

"Reedus?" I yelled. "Oh God I'm sorry."

"It's okay, I guess I kind of deserved that." He said and sat on a box. I looked around me and saw that we were in a warehouse.

"So this is the super-secret, safe house huh?" I asked and there was a sudden knock on the door. It was that dumb "secret knock" that everyone uses, but on the last knock there was a loud slam on the door, and it put a huge dent in the door.

"Lucy get out of here!" Reedus told me and started painting a picture on his stomach.

"But-." I started to say, but he cut me off.

"Get out! Now!" He yelled and the door got busted down. I took off towards the other end of the warehouse. But before I could get halfway there someone came crashing through the roof. He was tall with dark hair and a lot, and I mean a lot, of facial piercings. I knew him.

"Gajeel?" I asked.

"Oh, so you know me?" He asked me.

"We, we go to high school together." I told him.

'Why are there so many people that go to my school in the game?'

"Does it look like I care?" He snarled at me. And with that his arm turned into metal and he punched me in the face. I fell to the floor, and I tried to get up only to fall onto my face again. Gajeel picked me up by my waist and jumped up through the hole he made in the roof.

"Let her go!" A voice said and I looked up to see Loke on the roof.

"Loke." I whispered. This whole time after I joined Fairy Tail, he had been completely scared of me. I was told that he had a bad run in with another Celestial Mage right before he had joined Fairy Tail. So, he always kept his distance from me. I thought it also explained the weird connection feeling I got from him.

Gajeel dropped me on the roof, and I started to try and drag myself towards the edge of the roof.

"What the hell are you?" Gajeel asked him. "Why do you smell so weird?"

'What? Natsu's never said anything about Loke smelling different.'

I turned and saw Loke attacking Gajeel with speed I've never seen before. But suddenly Loke just stopped, and something happened.

'Did he just glitch?'

Gajeel then sent him through the roof. I grabbed a hold of the edge of the roof and was about to throw myself over the side, but Gajeel grabbed me again.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked and I tried my best to hold onto the roof, but I was too tired and drained to hold on for more than a moment. He then started jumping roof to roof in the direction of the giant Phantom Lord Guild hall.
