Nastu's POV

I wake up to my father saying close to my ear,"it's time to get up Nastu." I groan and sit up to see my father sitting on the edge of the bed. My father's name is Ingeel. He is real a dragon but he can transform into any and all creatures. I think he is pretty cool. I get up and out of bed, throwing my covers at my father's face. I put on my vest, since I sleep with my pants on, and the scarf I got from my father soon after I met him.

He meets me down stairs with breakfast on the table. I sit down, give thanks, and start wolfing down the food. It's 6:45 and I have to be at the academy in the middle of town at seven. I grab my pack and say,"I'm heading out dad. I'll see you later!" He says,"all right. Be careful!" While I run out the door. I am about 10 minutes walking from the academy but I can halve it by running. I need to find my locker and homeroom once there.

I run in the doors and stop to catch my breath. Today in the first day of school. I look around and walk down the hall of lockers. I see my name in the area of the second years beside the name 'Gray Fullbuster'. I open my locker with the key I was given and place my books in there. I look at the paper I was given with my classes on it to see which one I have first. I grab my red note book and my yellow one. The red for reading and yellow for writing. I also take three pencils and two pens with me.

I run into a person while going to leave my locker. He says in a sour voice, "watch it!" I look down and says under my voice,"I'm so sorry." I look at him and he is in front of the locker with the name 'Gray Fullbuster'. I walk off before he can say anything else that's harsh to me. I'm not in the mood to fight. Especially on the first day of school.

I end up going around in circles, getting lost. He walks up and asks me, "are you lost?" I hate to admit it, but yes I am. I respond with, "yes." The boy sighs and says, "then I'll show you around if you don't mind." I shake my head in a way so he knows I don't mind. He smiles and I try to hide the blush I feel coming on.

Grays POV

Great. I'm showing someone around the school who pretty much just ran into me. Even though it was an accident, I can help but remember the feelings I have rarely ever felt before. The pink-haired kid try's to hide the blush that is on his cheeks. He must've had no one help him out like this before. I ask him, "what's your name?" He says looking directly into my eyes,"Nastu Dragneel." I nod and say, "my name is Gray Fullbuster."

Nastu's POV

I can't believe this. I wish this hadn't happened so suddenly. Gray looks at me and I ask, "what?" He says, "come on Pinky." I frown and say, "my hair isn't pink. It's salmon colored!" He laughs and that causes me to frown even more. He looks behind me and pulls me to the side."wha..." As a herd of first years come rushing past. Then the third years and walking past. Finally it's the second years and we join them. I look around trying to see everything in it because this place is so huge.
