Stupid
Fucking stupid
That's what I am
How could Jimin possibly let this happen? No other fairy had ever brought a human to their realm with the intention of brining them back alive and yet Jimin out of all had been stupid enough to let her in.
Sososo stupid.
It's not like he was especially popular amongst the other fairies anyways. Not after what happened 15 years ago. After he got fucking named.
The pink haired sighed deeply, hands brushing through his locks distressed, while he watched himself in the mirror, from where he just came from.
It used to be a big thing. When a fairy got named by a human. Today it was just... marking your beginning of a life as an outsider.
An outsider of both the fairy and the human realm.
Jimin couldn't life in his old home anymore, yet he never fully felt at home in the human world either, the fascination for these beings having faded a long time ago, as he was now faced with the raw truth of how cruel humanity truly was.
No, he didn't like it here.
Especially not scooped up in this shitty, tiny apartment with walls so thin he could regularly listen to the neighbors arguing.
If only he could turn back time and stop himself from getting named. Then he'd still life with the others, where he belonged and wouldn't need to life as an outcast in the human world, where he needed to deal with things like rents and taxes and stupid girls who followed him into the fairy realm.
It was truly tiring.
The Fairy sighed once more, a deep, frustrated sigh that sounded sad in itself. He leaned his forehead against the cold surface of the mirror, willing his thoughts to calm down.
Everything was going to be okay. That girl would probably just think she had a dream or something.
Yeah, that's it. Everything would settle by itself.

You gasped as soon as your eyes opened, looking around in wonder. You were torn between being still half asleep and confused as to how the fuck you ended up here, in your bed, sound and safe.
"Must've been a dream..." You mumbled sleepily, yawning while you stretched your arms over your head.
Lazily, you reached out to your night stand to check your phone, almost dropping it when you read the messages.
Jinnie: Y/N??
Jinnie: Where did you go???
Jinnie: Please don't tell me you murdered that guy
Jinnie: Hello???
Jinnie: Did he perhaps murder you?
Jinnie: Oh god I hope he didn't
Jinnie: Fuck you. Taemin just told me you're home, sleeping
Your fingers where shaking when you typed an apology before pressing send, mind hazy while you tried to work through the memories from the past day.
Pink clouds, purple willow trees and this beautiful, beautiful boy
Naturally, you were questioning whether this had all been real, but at the same time you questioned what you had been doing instead after leaving Seokjin. There was a huge gape in your memory, between you following that pink haired guy and you waking up in your bed, the only thing you could come up with being this strange, dreamy world behind the mirror.
You still vividly remembered the feverish feeling of lightness, or the way the slight breeze made your skin burn up and free at the same time.
A shudder ran down your spine.
Maybe the guy gave me some kinda drugs?
Highly unlikely but it was an explanation, at least.
Your thoughts ran haywire while you clumsily dressed yourself, brushing your teeth quickly. It was Saturday but you had a shift at the coffee shop today, which started in two hours, so you'd need to get up at some point anyways.
"Mornin' babe." Taemin greeted you, not even looking up when you entered the kitchen.
He was working a lot lately. Getting up early and getting to bed late. You couldn't even remember what it was like to be sleeping next to him.
He worked so much, yet he couldn't even afford the rent.
"I invited Mingyu over for tonight, if that's alright with you?"
Why are you even asking for my consent if you decided it already anyways?
"Sure." You answered shrugging. This meant yet another evening over at Seokjin's.
"M leaving for my shift now." You called, earning a hum from your boyfriend, who failed to realize that your shift only started in an hour.
You kicked away a stone while strolling down the street, mind wandering to this world of lilac grass and fairies, a fantasy that seemed a bit too pleasing than to just push it away. Although it had most likely been nothing but a dream, it still felt delightful to imagine that something like this could possibly exist.
It was a bit too well-timed to be a coincidence when you saw the pastel haired boy a few meters away from you, though you didn't want to make any assumptions.
You didn't think yet of what you'd do if you saw him again, but now that you did, seeing him there in broad sunlight your breath caught in your throat, the way his skin practically glowed under the rays of sunshine reminding you of your (supposedly) dream from last night. It was strange enough that he'd been a part of it, but the fact that he looked so much like his real self was truly freaking you out. Especially when you'd only seen him twice before.
You made up your mind quickly, walking towards him with a small smile, "Hey!"
The boy's eyes widened, his feet unintentionally making a step back wards as soon as he heard you.
"I'm sorry about what happened between us so far." You tried, not really happy about his defensive reaction, "I wasn't really nice and I was hoping for a new start?"
The guy's traits relaxed a bit and he nodded, lips tight.
"Okay, cool," You said awkwardly, "So... I'm Y/N." You forced yourself to smile, "What's your name?"
You really wanted to erase the irrational hate between you two, now realizing how childish both of you had been so far.
"I'm- Jimin." The boy - Jimin - answered.
You blinked smiling, "Huh? That's funny, I had a friend called Jimin when I was a kid-" You didn't tell him that it was a fantasy friend, because it would've been embarrassing to tell him about your lonely childhood just like that "- I bet you two would've gotten along perfectly."
Jimin's eyes widened comically, looking as if they'd pop out of their sockets soon, "W-What did you say was your name again?"
"Y/N." You provided irritated, though smiling still politely.
"Fuck." The boy cursed, making one, two steps backwards before fully turning around and leaving you there, utterly confused.
"What a weirdo." You decided, "Here I was, wanting to make up with him and he just runs away like that?"
You watched the pink head disappear, in complete wonder.
