Jimin watched her going on endlessly about what she did the past year.
Fascinated, he watched her gesture enthusiastically, eyes wide open as she told him all these amazing things.
He knew he was smiling like a dumbass, but right now, he didn't really care. Or well, he never cared, not about shit like that.
Resting his chin in his hand, eyes sparkling like a teenage girl in love - that was what Jimin looked like while listening to his human.
"-and... well, you already know dad didn't take it all that well, and I understand him, really, but I just couldn't stand it anymore."
He was so proud of her. So, so proud.
"And well, Namjoon and I - we've been doing amazing ever since! Working at the shop is so much fun, I love helping out the customers and watching their awestruck expressions once they enter the place!"
She was so happy, like a blooming flower, showing off all the colors she got in all their glory.
"But..." She slowed down, looking sheepish all of a sudden as she stirred her ice coffee, Namjoon and Seokjin were sitting a few tables away so that they wouldn't disturb them (Namjoon's idea, obviously), "It wasn't really... I mean it was amazing, but without you..."
She looked like a pained puppy when her eyes met Jimin's, making his heart drop violently, "Without you it just never felt complete... I really missed you, Jimin."
Her voice sounded so genuine, so raw and honest, catching the fairy off guard for a moment.
"I-" He slowly lifted his hand, to put it on top of her's that was laying flat on the table, thumb stroking over the soft skin, "I missed you too, believe me. It hurt being apart from you for that long but..."
"...but you think we needed that?"
Jimin nodded, smiling softly, "Exactly."
"Well-" She looked away, cheeks tinting red slightly, "You're right, I guess."
He grinned cheekily, "Of course I am."

A few weeks later...
"Oh no, no, no, no, NO I am not going in there!" You tried to run past Jimin, who grabbed you by the sleeve and pulled you back towards him.
"Where do you think you're going?" The fairy said snickering, finding a little bit too much pleasure in your agony, "Of course you're going in there. Namjoon gave you a task and you should full fill it - he's your boss after all."
"Wha- first at all; We're partners." You clarified, trying to tangle free from the fairy's iron grip around you, "Secondly; I don't care what he told me I am not doing that."
"Coward." Your boyfriend deadpanned.
"Fuck you." You shot back.
"No, but I could fuck y-"
"Can I help you, ma'am?" An employee of the place you were trying not to enter asked with a blank expression, startling both of you.
Immediately, Jimin and you stopped fighting and you quickly managed to detangle yourself from his arms, "N-No- we-"
"Actually, yes." Jimin, the little traitor interrupted you, "We have an appointment with a Mr. Lee Taemin?"
The employee nodded, "Right, I'll bring you to him."
The fairy shot you a smug look when he walked past you, to follow the man.
It was supposed to be an easy task: Getting the interior plans for the building that would be the new Location of your Magic shop, something you'd been excited about for so long now.
But your excitement transformed into dread quickly when you found out that fucking Taemin would be the one handing you the papers.
And for some fucking reason Jimin wasn't even bothered about this.
"They are here, kiddo." The blank-faced employee announced when you reached the office and you were promptly faced with your gloomy looking ex.
"Hi, Y/N." He muttered.
Rude.
"Good morning Mr. Lee!" Jimin said cheerfully, taking off his blue tinted sunglasses and putting them on top of his head in a swift motion.
Taemin scowled at the cheerful fairy, and you only now realized that this bubbly expression on your boyfriend's face was nothing but pure spitefulness.
Evil little thing.
The other man looked pretty tired, over worked probably, and you almost felt bad for him when he slumped down into his seat. Almost. But not really.
"Looks like you did end up with that Twink."
"She did!" Jimin confirmed with a happy nod and you felt like banging your head against the oak wood desk.
"That's not what we're here for, Taemin." You reminded him and he sluggishly pulled out the papers.
"Well," He said with a tired voice, "There isn't much to add. Your partner - Mr. Kim - did the biggest part already. You just put your signature here and we're ready."
"Great." You said, signing where he pointed at.
This went surprisingly good, You thought when you stood up, bowing quickly before turning around, about to leave.
But you just couldn't have anything in your life.
"When he cheats on you with a boy, don't come back to me crying like a bitch, got it?"
You stopped abruptly, taking a deep breath, planning to just ignore this remark, but Jimin of course didn't.
"Poor, closeted baby." He chirped, ruffling through his freshly curled, pink locks before putting the sunglasses back on, "I don't care wether you feel better with lying to yourself or whatever, but no one likes assholes, know your place."
Your ex's expression was priceless and you couldn't hold yourself back from snorting, pressing your hand against your lips to muffle your laughter.
"I mean, did I lie?" Jimin said pouting, acting oblivious to the impact of his words.
"Get the fuck out, now!" Taemin growled, making the both you stumble outside laughing.
"Sheesh Jimin, it never get's boring with you," You said breathlessly, once you were back in the bright sunshine.
"Thats what I'm here for, baby." He winked, placing a quick kiss against your lips.
That he was, indeed. Jimin came crashing into your life like a bonfire and you couldn't be happier about this chaos of a person.
You leaned forward again, kissing him more deeply this time, "Thanks for everything, Chim."
