"Why didn't you tell me you are dating a fairy?"
badump
"A fairy? Me?" You giggled, "Nooooo--"
"You're a bad liar." Seokjin said unfazed.
"Fairies don't exist, silly." You said, giggling in way that made you and everyone else who heard it cringe violently.
"Calm down, Namjoon told me." Your friend deadpanned and you shut your mouth, because Namjoon told him.
"Ugh... well?" You looked at him a bit unsure, "How do you feel about it?"
The older shrugged, "Joonie showed me a a bit of what he's doing - and I'd be lying if I said I understand it, but it looked pretty cool."
It made sense that Namjoon told him. The way you saw it, neither Namjoon nor Jimin were making an oh so big thing out of being literal fairytale characters and talked about it rather loosely - if they met people they trusted that is.
"Yeah," You agreed, knowing that your eyes probably started to sparkle when you said the next words, "What Namjoon does is really fascinating, I want to be like him one day."
Seokjin laughed whole heartedly, "Who of us two is the one with the crush on him?"
You just smiled at his words, knowing that Seokjin was just trying to overplay the fact that he was shocked at being introduced to such a strange, new world.
But as you two went on with analyzing every single second of the older's date, both of you realized that it didn't really matter.
It didn't matter what the boy you liked was. Human or Fairy. Pink haired or blond. You still wouldn't trait those chubby cheeks and cheeky remarks for anything.
"Joonie told me Jimin has a performance up coming..." Jin spoke up.
It was way past midnight already, a cheesy romance movie playing as a background sound to your conversation.
"Hm..." You hummed approving.
"Will you go?" he asked.
You smiled, "Of course."

The young fairy peaked down at the audience, exhaling shakily.
He was always excited before a performance, mainly for the thrill of dancing in front of others.
But today he had this feeling that he was completely unfamiliar with when it came to dancing: Jimin was nervous. So incredibly fucking nervous, because for the first time in years did what he was doing truly mattered.
For the first time in years he didn't just dance because he felt like it. He didn't dance to forget but to prove something.
Prove something to the first person he had really cared about.
The light, white material of his clothes rustled when he brushed one hand through his freshly styled hair nervously, naked feet tapping to the beat of the song playing in the background.
His eyes were hastily rushing over the crowd of people waiting for the dancers to start the show, not being able to stop searching for the only person he ever wanted to impress with his dancing.
His breath caught in his throat when he finally spotted her, awkwardly standing in the back of the room, silver hair sparkling underneath the artificial lights.
Hundreds of people in this room, yet you are the only one truly shining.
The fairy closed his eyes, inhaling deeply before setting one foot in front of the other. He wasn't used of dealing with nervousness.
"You ready, Park?"
"Always."

You were a bit surprised when you reached the destination Jimin had texted you earlier.
This place looked more like a hip-hop stage than anything else.
Cold stone walls, painted over with colorful graffiti, a stage that seemed a bit improvised and a small bar near the entrance.
You felt a bit uncomfortable in the large crowd, between people that seemed so different to those you were usually surrounded with.
You crossed your arms in front of your body, feeling lost between all those strangers, now highly regretting your choice of coming here without Jin.
He said he'd be first to perform.
You stubbornly stared at the stage, anticipating the show to finally start. You'd only come here for Jimin, not even paying mind to the other parts of the event, which you also came to regret now. You should've prepared yourself more before hand.
After what felt like an eternity, the light switched finally off, leaving only the bright spotlights on the stage on.
Excited whispering erupted around you, as if the audience knew exactly what was awaiting them.
When Park Jimin entered the stage, loud cheering erupted but you felt your mouth go dry at the sight of him.
Fuck fairies he's a god damn angel.
A white shirt and pants and a white, silky shawl were the only things the ange- pardon, fairy wore, naked feet tapping over the dark wood of the stage.
It seemed a bit ironic to you that angelic, ethereal, delicate Jimin performed in such a scene and got supported like a fucking super star, but it showed you even more how much of a moron you were for thinking that him dancing contemporary was weird.
Whatever, all your self hate, no, all your thoughts in general got silenced as soon as the music started, because that was when Jimin started moving.
Like a flowing river to liquid silver, you couldn't really decide.
Never in your live were you entranced by another person like this, never had you been so hypnotized by another's movements.
He floated over the stage, bringing the gentle song playing to life with his dance and looked so fucking sexy while doing so.
So that's what it looks like, you thought, that's what it looks like to do what you love, to pursue your passion.
A weird sense of longing bloomed in your chest, the want to do the same and to look as free as Jimin was right now.
The feeling grew inside of you like a seed evolving to a beautiful flower and just like that, your life as you've been living it til now wasn't enough anymore. You wanted what Jimin had.
The more time passed, the more you felt your heart thumping in your chest, the stronger was the infinite pull towards the pink haired angel serenading everyone with his movements.
When Jimin finished his performance with a sly smirk you almost wanted to punch him but the need to just jump into his arms and kiss the fuck out of him was definitely stronger.
He bowed slightly, smiling brightly at the overbearing cheers erupting around you.
Elegantly, he left the stage, your eyes following his figure until your decided that you fucking needed to see him right now, your feet following him backstage.
You searched for him for a while, almost expecting a bodyguard to appear from no where and throw you out like in all those movies, but soon got found by the one you were searching instead.
Like a very sweaty Koala, the fairy practically taped himself onto your back, arms slinging themselves around your tummy before Jimin rested his chin on your shoulder, smile apparent in his voice when he whispered, "Did you like it?"
After over coming the shock of almost getting tackled by the pink haired you answered with a breathless "yes" before turning around and reversing the roles by almost tackling Jimin with your kiss.
"Woah-" The fairy said with wide eyes after separating from you, "What was that for?"
"For being amazing," You promptly answered, smiling widely, "And for making me realize something."
You couldn't stop yourself from hugging him quickly, arms wrapping around his neck, burying your face on his shoulder.
The fairy clumsily lifted his arms, one wrapping around your waist, the other coming up to tangle in your hair.
"Thanks." You mumbled, voice muffled by the fabric of Jimin's shirt, "Thank you for dancing."
