Dahlia POV

Nico, Titania and I were back to the guild head quarters at the fountain. Well I should really call it a kingdom now. It's no longer the way it use to be. All of the fae creatures live here and have gained their own consciousness after the game came to life. Ainz went back to the tomb after the fiasco at Carne village happened. He said he'd report to us after they've come up with what to do next. The men brought back by Nico are currently in white rooms. I haven't decided what to do with them yet. I've never really been a leader but now I'm in a position where I have to adapt into the role because I'm not the only one being affected by my decisions now.

Signing I lean back onto the lounge chair an close my eyes wondering what the next step to do is. So far all I've done is play a role that supports Ainz. I'm brought out of my thoughts when I felt the lounge chair dip down next to me and a pair of arms warp around my shoulders. Opening my eyes and looking up a bit I see Titania smiling down at me . Before I could ask anything she rubbed between my brows and said, "don't frown you'll get wrinkles.". Seeing that she was trying to lighten the mood I gave a small smile. Crossing my eyes a see a hand coming from behind to dangle a piece of fruit in front of both Titania and I. Nico was offering both of us some of the fruit that was found around the fountain. Smiling we both took the fruit that resembled a cherry the size of a nectarine. In the game the fruit was a good source of being able to get more stamina if we were injured. Bitting into it amazing. The fruit was so sweet. And to this point I realized that I've only been eating what was here at the castle. Turning to face Nico I offered him some of the fruit. He gladly took it and began to eat it. He made a weird face and his face blushed. Realizing that he could have gotten one of his own I remember his programming and mentally hit myself. Titania just giggles at Nico's actions.

Being struck with a thought I asked, "could humans eat this fruit?". Both looked at me before Titania answered , "they can't because then they wouldn't be able to eat anything else." . Looking to the side I thought about this. In the game we weren't really eating the food, but now I guess I understand. Everything is also physically affecting us unlike before. Sitting up I summoned a book that I found when my guild first got here. Appearing in my hand was a book that I found once, I tried to read it but I couldn't understand the language, so I forgot about it. Holding it I used a spell to remember all of the information in the book to see if I could obtain the information from it with out having to read it. The book begins to have a faint golden glow while I'm flipping through all of the pages. Once I finished I smirked a bit, it actually worked. The book described the the affects the fruits had on at her species. Everyone here was already immune to the harms of the fruit since almost all are fruits for fae creatures. Yet it mentioned how the fruits affected humans and the cures and antidotes to the ones that are considered harmful. Using magic I flip to a page that has a drawing of berries that looked like a grape bunch but smaller and blue.

"Let's give these to the humans a release them. It'll be interesting to see how the others will react at seeing them under its affects." Both looking at the image and chuckled. Nico kneeling next to us now said, "Does your majesty wants to see how they'll react to seeing a human in a condition that they've never seen before?" Nodding to Nico I told him to call the pixies from the fourth faction to come since they're the ones in charge of over seeing the humans. I decided to move to the side a bit so that Nico could sit between Titania and I because she's been cuddling me. Yet he just sat between us and put his arms around our shoulders. This man and his fairy kink. Sigh.

I decided to ask Nico to give a report on the guardians. All they had to report was that everything was still the same but that Ivan had found some people in the woods surrounding the borders that got a bit lost. The wood spirits would help them by clearing paths to lead them away and back onto the main roads. Nodding I noticed Titania leaning on Nico watching us interact. Leaning back on Nico's arm I looked at both of them. Before coming here I never met anyone who looked at me the way they both did. I thought they'd at least fight with one another, but I guess that fae creatures aren't problematic with one another. I don't have to be romantically attracted to them to be able to at least care for them the same way they both do for me. Smiling to them I said, "Thank you both for caring for me." . They both seemed a bit shocked at the sudden thanks, but before they could reply the pixies arrived. They looked like fairies but their features were sharper and they couldn't grow in size after reaching a certain level like fairies.

       Standing up I walked to them and held up the book to show them what I showed Nico. After explaining  they nodded and asked, "what do we do after they've consumed the fruit?". Lifting my arm I put it under the main pixie to have them standing in my palm and said, "see what they'll say after questioning them about the human customs.". Smiling the pixie exclaims, "YOUR MAJESTY IS SO SMART! You want to know how they live to be able to hide in plain sight!". I just nodded and went along with that, I just wanted to know about the culture but that's also a bonus. I dismiss the pixies and go back to sit by Nico and Titania.

       The moment I sit back down Nico hugs me bringing me to his chest. Titania also joins the hug and Nico wraps her in his arms to. This bug felt different from the previous ones. It was tighter and felt secure, it was also wam. Nico then said, "I don't know what made you feel as if no one cares for you queen Dahlia, but know that every one here cares for you. Even though the others left a Diablo was the original leader, they left you in charge. And everyone here still cares for you because you stayed here for us. So we'll all be there for you to the best of our abilities.". Reaching up I returned the hug to both Trying not to cry. Titania then continued by saying, " I may have not known you long darling but I care for you. Us fairies have good judgment of character and I know you are good. So I'll care for you as you have for me. You could have casted me out for being a queen yet you let me stay. Thank you.". I gave them both a squeeze.

Time skip

       All three of us were currently walking through E-Rantel. Ainz has informed us of him and Narbel we're going to try to join a guild? I wasn't quite sure but I just wanted to explore the town. I wanted to try the food I was curious to see if my taste would change and the food would taste like nothing. Nico was walking behind me and Titania . All of us having a glamour to hide our inhuman looks. Titania was dressed in a simple dress maroon dress with a leather corset and a brown hooded cloak. Nico was in black armor with dark leather accents to take attention away from all of the black and an off white hood. I was wearing an outfit similar to Titania's but I had shin and arm guards on and held a staff because I'm not sure how common tool-less magic is here. Titania held my free hand and was swinging it a bit. Looking at both they seemed as if they were on a field trip. Deciding to remind them of the meeting with Ainz and Narbel I said , "remember, when we meet up with Ainz and Narbel, we'll have to use our aliases and call Ainz Momon.". Both just nodded . Titania gasped and pulled both Nico and I to a stall selling pastries.

     Once we reached the stall Titania smiled and the elderly vender lady working and a younger woman working with her. "Hello man is like one of those little fruit tarts please! And could we also have a price of the cake? Oo, and a cookie please.". The elderly lady nodded she gave us the price and Nico just gave her a silver coin from a pouch he swiped from a fancy home we came across from. He told her to keep the change. It seemed to be enough because she didn't say that it wasn't enough. The younger woman handed us the deserts and we walked away. We shared the pastries in our way to the guild building to find Ainz to join with him.

      Good news, the food still taste the same. At least now I know this. We each shared the pastries with one another. I still don't like berries apparently. Both Titania and Nico laughed at the face I made. By the time we arrived walking in we saw a woman yelling at Ainz seemed to have just thrown a man. Sighing I walk up to them with Nico and Titania following. "You still can't stay out of trouble can you Momon?" Both juman and skeleton looked over. Narbel bowed her head to us in acknowledgment and we returned the gesture. Walking up to Ainz I reached into his hidden pocket and took out a red healing potion and handed it to the woman after picking up what she was mad about. "There this should be enough to replace the potion, lead the way Momon you have to catch us up to what we missed." Nodding Ainz and Narbel lead us to a corridor to a room where we could discuss in private.

Aaahhh I did a thing. With school coming around the corner I went from always sad to anxiety is bad :D. Oof feel free to comment. I'll edit the story once it's finished or randomly while writing a chapter. I know I'm writing this but I want to start another story.
