Adjusting
Once they were in Ixipa, Nikko had brought Midoriya to the clothing department, so that he could pick out a new outfit for himself. It hadn't taken to long before he found an outfit he liked. It had a white, long sleeved undershirt, with a dark green button up vest over it. He wore black slacks and bulky, red shoes aswell.
She had then brought him to his new house. It was a small cottage, vines trailing up the walls and colorful flowers towering over it. The walls were painted a washed out yellow, and seemed to be made of large stones. The roof had redish-brown tiles, all of them different from eachother. It only had two windows, which were circular, with white rims. The door was small, made of mahogany wood.
His wings fluttered in excitement, as he stared at the building in awe. Sure, it wasn't that big or impressive, but it was beautiful none-the-less. "I get to live here?" He questioned, and Nikko nodded, a grin on her face, "Yep!! It's all yours!! Well, why don't you get settled in, I've gotta go do some stuff!!" She then flew off, leaving Midoriya there.
After admiring the building for a little bit longer, he stepped forwards, approaching the door. After a moment of hesitation, he pushed the door open, stepping inside. The room he had walked into looked to be a living room of sorts. There was a decent sized couch, which was light grey in color. It had a blanket draped over the back of it, which looked like a large leaf. The windows had leaf themed curtains, which were curently pulled open. There was a small bookshelf on one wall, filled with what Midoriya assumed were novels. The walls were the same as the outside ones, and the floor was cobblestone. He noticed the shoe rack next to the door, and slipped off his red shoes, placing them down onto it.
He wandered throughout the room, wings fluttering behind him. He started hovering two or three centimeters off the ground without realizing it, as he continued looking about the house.
There was a decently sized kitchen, complete with an oven, sink and a refridgrator powered by magic. The countertops were granite, with wooden cupboards underneath. There was also a small, round table, with two chairs sat at it.
The bedroom was rather simple, honestly. There was a small, singular bed, with a large, red oak leaf as a blanket. (It actually made a pretty nice blanket, but maybe that was only because he was now a fairy rather than a human.) Besides the bed was a small, bedside table, made of walnut-tree wood. On top of it was a lamp, and an alarm clock.
But then there was his favorite room. He didn't actually know what it would be called, but that didn't really matter. The walls were coated in bookshelfs, some of them containing spellbooks, empty notebooks, and various other educational articles and books, while others contained magical items, most just being supplies to make potions. In the middle of the room was a sturdy desk, accompanied by a cushioned chair. The desk had a few pens and pencils laid out on it, along with a few erasers and a pencil sharpener. Magical lanterns floated in the air, glowing a soft, gentle blue. Actually, they looked something like will-o-wisps.
Yeah, he was a nerd, so what?
It felt amazing, honestly. This was all his.
He felt unworthy of all of it, really. After all, he was just a useless, quirkless Deku, wasn't he?
No, he wasn't a Deku anymore. He was a fairy now. And that's how he'd be from now on.
It would take awhile to get used to the idea of it, huh.
He was in the kitchen, attempting to make some food for himself, when he heard a knock on the door. Curious, he walked over to the door, and opened it, finding a beaming face behind it.
"Nikko-san?" He questioned, and the girl nodded, "Yeah, who else would I be? So, what do ya think? Do you like it?"
Midoriya nodded, grinning from ear-to-ear, "Yeah!Thisisallsuperamazing!!ThishouseisbetterthananythingIcould'veaskedforandmywingsaresuperawsomeandthisisevenbetterthanIthoughtitwouldbeandholycowamIactuallyafairynowisthissomesortofdreamitfeelskindalikeadream-"
Nikko cut off his ramblings, "Nope!! This is all completely real! No dreaming involved! I'm glad you like it so far!!"
Midoriya found himself tearing up, and launched himself at her, engulfing her in a hug, "Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!!!"
Nikko chuckled, patting his back, "No need to thank me, really..."
Eventually, Midoriya backed up, and asked, "So um... i-is there any p-particular reason you came..? I-I mean, n-not that I-I don't l-like your company o-or anything, I j-just-"
Nikko cut him off once again, "Oh!! Right!! Since you're a fairy now, and we don't use surnames, you need to choose a name to use! It can be anything you want!!"
Midoriya looked at her in surprise, "Oh u-uh... O-okay? D-Do I-I have to ch-choose one n-now?"
She shrugged, "I mean, if you already have a name in mind."
"Erm... C-can I just use I-Izuku?"

Hi Mom!! By the time you're reading this, I'll probably already be gone. I'm a fairy now. It's permanent, so I'm gonna be stuck as a fairy forever. Well, not really stuck, that suggests that I don't want to be this way.
I'm sorry if this makes you sad, but please, don't be!! It's not your fault or anything like that, really. I chose this because I wanted to, nothing else.
Now that I'm gone, you can live without worrying and stressing out about me! So don't be sad that I'm gone, it's for the best, really.
-Izuku
