¤Day 5¤

~Third Person~

Lucy sprung up from bed, she was way to excited. She was dreading this place since she heard the name. But she met him... He looked exactly like Kai. The same pink hair, a lovely pair of onyx eyes even though Kai had green. However Natsu was so much more, upbeat.

"Stop that." A voice from behind her scolded her, much to her surpise it was Kai.

"Stop what, Kai?" The blonde puffed out her cheeks as she turned pink.

"Stop thinking about that Pyro like that! He's isane for god sakes Lucy! And like hell I'm giving my property to him!" Kai grits his teeth.

The blonde glared at Kai, cross her arms. "I'm not your property, Kai!"

"Say that again!" The pinkette growled standing up as he raised her hand.

Fear filled the blondes eyes, she was sent here for a reason, right? Kai isn't real. None of them are real. It won't hurt... I hope.. Lucy opened her eyes as she gave Kai a growl. "You aren't real! You couldn't hurt me even if you tried!" The blonde stood up staring him down.

And just like that he brought his hand down. And Lucy was right, she felt no physical pain what-so-ever. But the moment the impact would of happened, she felt pain surge through her head. Grabbing onto her blonde locks to try and conceal the pain, the blonde ended up passing out as she fainted on the floor. The last thing she saw before she was consumed by darkness was nothing infront of her at all...

Waking up to a knock on the door, Lucy sat up slowly. She felt dizzy, her brain felt like it was pounding against her skull. She stood up and opened the door, seeing Nurse Lisanna with her pills.

The whitettes once cheery face was now painted with worry. "M-Ms. H-Heartfilia are you okay?!" Lisanna panicked.

Lucy mentally cursed, she was going to punish Kai for this. "I-I just. Had some nightmares, that's all.." The blonde lied talking the little cup.

"Oh. Also hospital rules, apparently you guys have been flushing your pills. So I have to watch you take it. Here." She handed Lucy an unopened water bottle smiling.

Lucy took the little cup and stared at them with a blank face. Remebering the first day she got these....

"Hime. If you take these. You'll slowly start to loose us." Virgo said as she held out her arm hitting Loke in the face with her chains.

"Watch it Virgo! However she is right Lucy. We'll become more distance and hurtful till we dissapear. Now you don't want that, right my love?" Loke smirked leaning on her.

Lucy nodded happily. "I don't wanna loose you guys. You're my best friends! I don't care if you guys mess with my brain. You're the only friends I ever had!" She smiled happily, making everyone start to get emotional.

So...I'm going to loose...my friends...? Lucy thought as she looked down. However, she has Natsu now. And Kai hurt her... She opened the bottle and tossed them on her mouth. Pouring some water in as she swallowed them all.

"You shouldn't have done that.." A voice in her head laughs.

"Thanks for taking them, Ms. Heartfilia! Have a wonderful day!" The whitette bows and walks off.

Lucy rubbed her head. It seemed like it was calming down but she wasn't sure. All of a sudden she over heard Levy and Erza talking.

"Yeah! Apperantly we get to meet councilors today!" The bluenette smiles. Counclers....?

"H-Human ones?" Erza studdered. It was quiet for a second till she heard a deep breath in. "I-I guess I can do this."

"That's the spirit Scarlet! If anything happens though I will kick their ass." Levy laughed.

Making Erza giggle, "Okay! If they hurt you I'll stab them in the eye!" Erza cheered.

"Uh, okay!" Levy giggled with Erza.

"Counclers? Oh...fun..." Lucy sighs. Just as she was about to frown she shook her head wildly. The moment her smile fades is the moment she breaks a promise to her Mother!

Lucy had her day infront of her, and first things first she wanted to see Natsu. Knowing her pink haired friend he was probably scarfing down food, a smile painted Lucy's face, as her faced turned pink picturing Natsu.

"Do you seriously have a crush on that Pyro?" Capricorn scoffed, appearing behind Lucy.

"He isn't a Pyro..." Lucy sighed looking down at her feet.

"He's got problems none the less. Or else you would have never met him." Leo laughed.

"I wouldn't have even met him if I didn't have problems anyways!" Lucy stomped her foot, causing the three spirits around her to smirk.

"Then Looocy, what's your problem?" Taurus laughed, knowing she'd say nothing.

And he was almost right. She considered these none aging people her friends. Only time they ever acted mean was when she was forced here. The blonde bit her lip, were they showing their true colors, or trying to force her out of here? Breaking the silence Lucy looked up, "You're my problem! You're all acting so cruel!" Lucy screamed as she darted away, behind her the illusions disspaearig into black smoke, smug grins on their faces.

She didn't look where she was going, she forgot where she even was going, as she immediately ran into the little bluenette, sending both the blonde and the shrimp flying. "KYAAAAAA!"

"L-Levy are you okay?" The redhead panicked, wondering if she should help Levy or stay away from Lucy.

Levy felt squished under Lucy. In truth Levy wanted to say she felt like she was dying but she knew Scarlets past all too well. "I-I'm just d-dizzy...." The bluenette groaned.

Regaining self-control Lucy pulled herself of the bluenette. "I'm so sorry! I should have been looking where I was going."

"No no! It's fine." Levy chuckles as she sits up, "You probably ran this way for peace and quiet. We shouldn't even be here anyways."

Lucy looks around, realizing this was where the lounge was located, she eyes the bluenette and the redhead. "What are you doing here?"

"In all honesty. Levy was gonna break into the lounge for a book.." Erza sweatdrops, as Levy giggles.

"Why...?" Lucy's eyes widdened.

"I'm not suppose to read books!" Levy sighs, "So when it's open they have Nurses keeping me away from my precious!" She pouts.

"Oh! I brought the Harry Potter series along with me when I came if you want, I already read them all. I just brought them along cause I already know my dad's selling everything back all least home." The blonde sighs.

The bluenettes eyes light up, "Really?! Oh my god! Thank you...Uh...?" Levy pauses, not remebering this girls name.

"Oh yeah!" Lucy laughs. "My name is Lucy! And you two are?"

"I-I'm Erza, and she's Levy as I said already." The redhead smiles, softly yet weakly.

Lucy's face lights up with a smile as she pulls Levy up and grabs Erza's wrist, aswell with Levy's. Much to the redheads disgust, but if Levy trusted her she would too. Dragging them towards her door painted with ones she called her 'friends', seeing Natsu standing there about to knock.

Lucy's face lit up like a Christmas tree. "Natsu!" She smiled, pulling the girls faster.

The pinkette jumped slightly, turning towards Lucy with a, she wanted to say, slightly tinted pink face. "L-Luce! There you are!" He smiles.

"N-Natsu! Heh! Wait here I was gonna get Levy-chan a book!" Lucy takes off into her room leaving Natsu, Erza and Levy alone.

Looking at them Natsu's eyes widdened. They looked, crazy... Levy looked like she would kill for that book, and Erza looked like she needed fifthy cans of disinfectant. And Natsu? He just wanted to have a simple talk with Lucy.

Coming out in a flash Lucy handed Levy book one. "Here ya go! Have fun! Sorry. I'd stay but....I wanna talk to Natsu!" She smiles.

"Thanks! Levy let's go!" Erza growls grabbing the bluenette and pulling her away.

"They're intresting..."

"Yeah. I guess." Lucy smiled, grabbing Natsu's hands right after. "So! What do you wanna do before art?"

Natsu didn't even hear the question though. Her hands were warm. Like a fire. It was very, soothing.... "Natsu?! Earth to Natsu?!" Her soft voice snapped him back to reality.

"Ah! S-Sorry Luce. What did you say?" Natsu smiled sheepishly. Giving off a nervous laugh.

"I asked, what do you wanna do before art?" Lucy smiled.

"Oh! Shit. Actually right now I'm meeting with my Councler, Gildarts. I wanted to come say hi before I go incase he does something too me!" Natsu laughs.

Lucy's face dims, as she gives alittle pout. "When will you come out?!"

"They said around thirty minutes! I'd say atleast fifteen though since he has too met with one more person before Art!" Natsu smiles.

"O-Okay! I'll wait outside. If anything happens, scream! I'll bust in!" Lucy smiles as they walk down towards the office. Enjoying eachothers company. Stopping infront of the office Lucy waved as Natsu entered. "See you on the other side." Were her last words before the door closed and infront of him sat a brown haired man.

"Ah, you're Natsu, I presmuse?" The man smiles. Sitting down infront of him, Natsu gave a slight nod. "And. You're a pyromaniac I see?" Hit a nerve.

"No. I just trust the fire. That it'll protect me and the ones I love." The pinkette growled.

"How so?" Gildarts smiled.

Natsu began to explain, and as he did Lucy tried to listen in. Not hearing a thing. She gave up and sat regularly waiting. And Natsu was right. At fifteen minutes Natsu walked out, something seemed different about Natsu. He seemed...darker. Nothing happened though, right?! He would of screamed, right?! "How'd it go, Natsu?" Lucy smiled.

"Good, infact. Great! I get to leave! And never see you again!" Natsu laughed.

Bang.

Lucy felt like she had been shot in the heart. Then had it stepped on a million times. "Will..you visit atleast?" The blonde looked at him.

"Why would I visit a psychopath?! Ha! You really are a dumb blonde!"

"Looks like your boyfriend dumped you." Loke's voice taunted her from behind.

"Who's the stupid one? Trading us from him! Us for him! Piri-piri!" Gemini said in usion. Snickering at her stupidity.

"You got a boyfriend and he turned out to be fake! Priceless!" Aquarius hasn't even changed. She was still heartless.

"You fell for his moooves!" Taurus laughed.

"B-But you know I'm not crazy!" Lucy teared up. As her sanity and heart crumbled, they could feel it too.

"Stop lying! You're such a liar, you might as well drop dead!" The pinkette chuckled.

"Drop dead! Piri-piri! Drop dead!" Gemini laughed.

Taurus smirked. "Miss Lucy is such a loooser! She might aswell save us all!"

"Might aswell do it now before you're old and alone!" Aquarius laughed.

"Drop dead Lucy." Loke sounded far away from her, which only made her head swirl as he whispered into hear ears. "Do it."

Snap!

The shot was nothing anymore, the small twig that kept Lucy sane snapped, as her heart had already fallen into a million pieces. She ran again, expect this time she knew what she was doing. She didn't even realize she ran through Natsu. If she did, she'd realize Kai was helping her frenemies break her. Not to shortly after that they dissapeared into the black smoke, as Natsu came out, a giant grin on his face.

"Luce! I'm ba- ...Lucy...?" Natsu looked around. He couldn't see her, nor smell her star fruit and vanilla fragrance. It puzzled him to see her gone. She wasn't here. She said she'd be here...! Something happened...! The pinkette stood there puzzled as Gildarts noticed him still holding the door open dumfounded.

"Is everything okay, Natsu?" Gildarts said, looking up from his paper work.

"Y-Yeah! Sorry!" Natsu sprints off, looking around for the blonde.

After two minutes of looking, Juvia Gray sprinted towards him. "Natsu! Are you looking for Lucy?!" Gray panted.

The pinkette nodded, then Juvia spoke up. "J-JUVIA SAW L-LUCY-SAN GO TOO THE SECOND FLOOR! AND A N-NURSE SAID THEY WERE MISSING THEIR ROOF CARD. A-AND A CONCLER CONTACTED THEM A BLONDE WAS ON TH-"

"LUCY!" Natsu screamed darting off. Juvia and Gray running after him.

They ran up the stairs as fast as they could too see the opened roof door. Running up they saw Nurses everywhere. With Levy, Erza and Gajeel looking at something. "LEAVE ME ALONE!" A voice screamed.

It was almost unrecognizable, the voice was filled with sadness, fear, hatred and disgust. But Natsu knew. It was Lucy. "LUCY!" The pinkette screamed, the ran towards her voice before Nurses stopped him, close enough to see her blonde hair flowing in the wind, puffy brown eyes looking at him with tear streak down her pale face, which turned from cream to pale.

"H-How could you say those things? Natsu...how.....could....you....?" Lucy sniffed.

"What things?! Bad things?! How could I say bad things about you when you're perfect?!" Natsu said, very confused.

"A-are you serious?! Look at where we are?! I-I'm crazy!" Lucy laughed as the nurses holding Natsu realized he was getting somewhere with her.

"Do a black flip, Hime!" Virgo laughed

"Once you remove the building your balance will be normal once more!" Libra smiled.

"The end will be beautiful with your last breathing moments!" Capricorn smiled.

"But you're not crazy! Who would even have the nerve to say that!" Natsu screamed, looking furious.

Newly formed tears flowed from her eyes. From both sadness and happiness she spoke up with a crack in her voice. "YOU!"

"BUT LUCY I WOULD NEVER EVEN SAY THAT! YOUR SUCH AN AMAZING GIRL! IT MUST OF BEEN SOME ONE WHO LOOKS LIKE ME WHO HAS NO BRAIN CAUSE YOU ARE THE MOST WONDERFUL PERSON I EVER MET! AND I DONT WANNA LOOSE YOU!" Natsu was fighting back tears. He was not gonna let these people see his tears. And not Lucy either. He needed to stay strong for her.

Look alike? More salty tears spilled as she realized. Kai tricked her. And she believed that Natsu could be that cold towards her. The pain in her chest hurt more as she gripped onto the railing, her legs feeling weak. "N-Natsu...It hurts..." The blonde choked out through her sobs, gasping for air.

"Lucy...Just...come over the railing. Please...? Its all fine.." He was too forgiving for Lucy. She didn't deserve this. But she didn't want to hurt him anymore. She climbed over as Natsu rushed over.

She collapsed into his arms. Sobbing. "T-The darkness took over Natsu...It's s-scary...."

Natsu gave Lucy a determined looked and a warm hearted smile. "Don't worry Luce! I'll be your flame, in the darkness." He said squeezing her tight. She felt safe in his arms, inhailing his soothing scent, her heavy arms and his dreamy voice sent Lucy to sleep. Picking her up he carried her bridal style back downstairs, earning praise from his friends.

"T-That was amazing Natsu!" Erza smiled.

"Agreed! You saved her life!" Levy cheered. Although know one really knew technically he endangered it.

"I-It was nothing really..." Natsu blushed slightly, as they walked towards her room.

"You. Saved. Her. Life!" Juvia squeals. If Juvia was Lucy and Natsu Gray-sama Juvia would have fallen deeper inlove!~ The bust bluenette fangirls.

"Hey. You all do your things. I-I'm going too stay with Lucy for awhile. I'll see you all later!" Natsu says opening her door and quickly closing it.

"Wait, are we actually gonna let them be in there alone....?" Erza mumbled as she got pulled away by Juvia and Levy.

Natsu gently placed Lucy's unconscious body onto her bed, putting the thin blanket over her to keep her warm. He looked at her sleeping. They wouldn't mind....right? He smiled as he jumped on Lucy's bed, moving towards her and wrapping an warm around her. Falling asleep not to shortly after.

Three hours later Lucy woke up, turning her head beside her expecting to see nurses she saw an empty bed. What happened...? I remeber I was crying in Natsu's- NATSU! Lucy shot awake as a knock at her door rang from the other side. "C-Come in..." Lucy said, her throat hurt. It felt like a cat scratched her vocal cords.

"Hello? Ms. Heartfilia?" A green haired woman entered the room, holding a clipboard.

"Hello...? W-who are you...?" Lucy coughed. She looked at the lady as she sat on her dresser.

"I'm Councler Bisca. I'll be your Councler well you stay here.. I'll be your secret best friend." Bisca winks. "First thing...Are you okay? I heard about your. 'Incident'.." She gives the blonde a worried look.

"Uh...If you've ever felt like you've been betrayed by your closest family member I guess you could understand..." Lucy sighs.

Bisca could only give the girl a warm pity smile. "I'm sorry, I can't understand but I want to help...Tell me, Lucy. Do you want to get better...?"

Lucy looked up at the ceiling, closing her eyes as she gave a nod. "I want too get better. I'd appreciate it if you could help me..."

Bisca gives Lucy a warm smile. "I'll try my best!"

About five hours later. Lucy came out of her room to see Natsu sitting there. "Hey Natsu!" She smiled.

"Lucy! You look better!" Natsu sprung from the ground and embraced Lucy in a tight hug. "Hey..." He pushed her away showing a frown. "Don't ever do that again, okay?"

Lucy sniffled and smiled, "Hey! I'd never leave you behind! I was just being stupid!" she laughed fighting back her happiness tears.

"Good Luce! That scared me...Let's go! The others want to see you aswell!"

"Okay!"
