Rainbow's POV

I was so mad, things were really looking rough for me, I blew it in the big soccer match and we lost, I flunked my science test, I got in detention for bringing my skateboard even though I wasn't riding it, and I was late to school today because I ran into Dumbbell. I sat with my friends at lunch covered in bruises.

Applejack: Sugar, what happened?

Me: Oh nothing, just got punched in the face again.

Rarity: Darling, you can't keep living like this.

Me: And what makes you say that, Miss Pretty face?

I had no emotions, none left, I basically lost them all because of what I've been going through for the whole school year.

Applejack: Rainbow, you're the toughest girl we know, you can totally stand up to Dumbbell!

Me: Yeah, but being tough doesn't solve my other problems, it just lands me in detention
