Gyuvin, beaming, walked to the beach with Ricky since it was the closest place to the campsite, bouncing with each step which indicated his excitement. He held Ricky's hand, basically dragging him along due to their walking paces not matching.

"Aren't you excited?" he asked, giving Ricky's hand a squeeze.

Ricky smiled, humming in response, the hand that held Gyuvin's swaying gently. It felt as if he was taking an excited puppy on a walk—although Gyuvin seemed to be walking him with how fast he was going.

Arriving at the beach, Ricky blushed furiously as Gyuvin helped him with his life jacket. No matter how long they'd been together, Ricky still found that those small gestures still caused butterflies in his stomach; it felt like he was an excited child with a crush.

"Gyuvin," Ricky said as he boarded the kayak. "Small pranks are okay, but big pranks are a no."

The younger, obviously without a care in the world, used his legs to rock the kayak from side to side. "But this is fine, right?" he asked, his bright smile clearly heard through his words.

"Hey!" Ricky shouted playfully, causing Gyuvin to laugh as he could picture the kind of expression his boyfriend was making. "Small pranks yes, but big pranks—"

The cold feeling of water suddenly splashing onto his legs caused Ricky to turn his head, a frown on his face as he looked at Gyuvin. His annoyance didn't last long, though, as Ricky took that opportunity to send small waves onto Gyuvin with his paddle, a grin on his face.

They began a playful water battle, splashing each other with water and trying to steer the kayak in circles to create mini whirlpools. Their laughter echoed across the tranquil lake as they engaged in their watery escapade. Gyuvin would lean over and pretend to tip the kayak, causing Ricky to scream playfully and cling to the sides for dear life, but Gyuvin was quick to stabilize the kayak, ensuring they wouldn't actually capsize.

As they glided through the water, Ricky and Gyuvin spotted a school of fish swimming beneath them. The sight was so captivating that their water fight momentarily turned into a peaceful observance. They marvelled at the beauty of nature and the wonders hidden beneath the water's surface.

"That one looks like you," Gyuvin said, pointing to a shiny silver fish, his wide eyes glistening under the sun.

Ricky pursed his lips to contain his smile, searching for another fish that resembled Gyuvin. "And that one looks like you." He pointed to a bright orange fish. "It's ugly," he added, causing Gyuvin to frown (cutely, though).

After their brief moment of tranquillity, the mischievous spirit returned to the duo. They resumed their rivalry, seeing who could create the biggest splash. Gyuvin was winning in that department, but Ricky was the master of surprise attacks, launching sneak attacks while Gyuvin was distracted. Despite feeling rather immature, Ricky was happy; he liked letting loose with Gyuvin.

After dropping Matthew and Jiwoong off, Hanbin drove him and Hao to the petting zoo that was just nearby. The place was almost exclusively populated by children, so they did seem out of place, but then again, there wasn't an age limit for people visiting.

"I like this shirt," Hao said as they waited in line, tracing the exposed tattoo on Hanbin's chest with his finger.

Hanbin chuckled, his ears quickly turning a bright crimson shade. "Yeah, I wonder why."

After paying for a bucket of vegetables to feed the animals, Hanbin took Hao by the hand. As they entered the petting zoo, they were greeted by the delightful sounds of various animals. There were goats playfully jumping around, fluffy bunnies nibbling on fresh greens, and gentle horses enjoying the attention of visitors. Hao and Hanbin smiled at the heartwarming scene.

Their first stop was at the alpaca enclosure, where they happily fed them some crunchy vegetables and petted their soft fur. The alpacas seemed grateful for the treats, and a few even nudged their heads against Hao and Hanbin's hands, seeking more affection.

Coming face to face with one, Hao couldn't help but laugh. "It looks like Ricky," he exclaimed, happily feeding it lettuce from the bucket Hanbin was holding.

"He would curse us out if he heard that," Hanbin laughed, feeding another alpaca a handful of lettuce, and patting it on the head.

They strolled further into the petting zoo, noticing a young child standing beside the majestic horse enclosure. The child's eyes were filled with wonder and eagerness, but he seemed too timid to approach the horse on his own.

Hao, who had a natural way with animals, approached the child with a warm smile. "Hi there, are you enjoying your time at the petting zoo?" he asked kindly.

The child shyly nodded. "Yes, but can you help me feed the horsies?" he admitted.

Hao understood the feeling well. Horses could be big and intimidating to a young child. "Don't worry," Hao reassured him, "horses are gentle creatures, and they love treats like hay."

With that, Hao gently lifted the child onto his shoulders. The little boy clung to Hao's shirt with excitement, feeling safe and thrilled at the same time. They approached the horse, who looked curiously at the new visitors.

Hanbin, taking notice of this, grabbed some fresh hay from his bucket and handed it to the child. "Here you go," Hanbin said cheerfully. "Just hold the hay in your hand and offer it to the horse."

The child's face lit up with joy as he held the hay in his tiny hand, slightly trembling with anticipation. The horse took a step closer, sensing the kindness in the child's heart. With a soft nudge, the horse gently took the hay from the child's hand, savouring the treat.

The child burst into laughter, overwhelmed with delight at the interaction. "I did it! I fed the horsie!" he exclaimed, and Hao and Hanbin applauded his bravery.

The horse seemed to enjoy the attention and affection, so Hao and Hanbin spent some time petting the horse's velvety nose while the child looked on in awe.

With his gaze landing on Hao's face, Hanbin's heart fluttered; the way he always treated those around him with the utmost love and care always got to Hanbin. He brought a hand up to Hao's head, running a hand through his hair,

"Hey," Hao said with a frown. "You pet the animals here, not me!" He playfully pushed Hanbin with one of his hands, a bright smile on his face.

Jiwoong, at the beach with Matthew, stood dumbfounded on the jet ski dock. He had no clue how to ride one, and truthfully, everything that came out of the instructor's mouth made no sense to him. An anxious glance at Matthew made Jiwoong realize that maybe it was only him who didn't understand, which made his stomach churn in embarrassment.

"So, did you get all that?" the instructor asked, to which Matthew nodded. To not seem ridiculous to the instructor, Jiwoong, too, nodded.

As the instructor walked away, Matthew turned to him. "You didn't understand anything he said, did you?"

Shamefully, Jiwoong shook his head. "He was complicating things," he said, rubbing the nape of his neck.

Matthew laughed—not just a giggle, but a full-on hearty one, which only embarrassed Jiwoong even more. He held the older's hands once his laughter died down, a smile remaining. "Looks like I'll be the one driving it, then."

Jiwoong only scoffed. "Lame," he mumbled.

As the engine roared to life, they took off, gliding over the waves, feeling the refreshing sea spray on their faces. The wind whipped through their hair, and their laughter mingled with the sound of the surf. The freedom of the open water enveloped them, and they couldn't help but feel a sense of liberation and joy.

The ocean was a mesmerizing blend of deep blues and greens, dotted with foam-capped waves that rolled gently beneath them. Seagulls soared overhead, adding to the picturesque scene. Matthew and Jiwoong marvelled at the vastness of the sea, its beauty stretching out as far as the eye could see.

After some time of high-speed thrills, Matthew steered the jet ski to a more serene part of the ocean. They slowed down, allowing the waves to gently rock the watercraft. They found themselves in awe of the peacefulness that surrounded them. The only sounds were the soft lapping of waves against the jet ski and the distant calls of seagulls.

"I think meeting you was the best thing that ever happened to me," Jiwoong admitted with a gentle smile.

Matthew, feeling rather shy at the statement, giggled, playfully pushing Jiwoong's shoulder. "Shut up. I feel the same, obviously."

As the two sat momentarily in silence, they exchanged glances that lingered a bit longer than usual. In that moment, time seemed to slow down, and they felt an unspoken understanding pass between them. Without a word, they both leaned in, their lips meeting in a tender and heartfelt kiss.

Under the bright rays of the sun, Gunwook, Taerae, and Yujin gathered at the bike renting rack, with Taerae generously offering to pay, as he wanted to be a "reliable hyung".

"Yujin knows how to ride a bike, right?" asked Taerae jokingly, causing the youngest to frown and stick his tongue out at him.

Gunwook laughed after being unable to keep it in, turning away for a brief moment to compose himself. "Maybe we should get him both knee and elbow pads."

"Come on, guys," Yujin whined, stomping his foot on the ground as if he was a toddler throwing a tantrum. "I'm sixteen now, not five."

Despite the statement being a joke, it turned out that it was required for anyone under eighteen to be equipped with a helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads. Yujin was far from thrilled, but the two he was with reassured him by calling him cute.

The beach was bustling with people enjoying the sun and surf. As they cycled, Taerae couldn't help but feel the stress of daily life wash away, replaced by a sense of freedom and joy. Gunwook, always enthusiastic, cheered and laughed, his infectious energy spreading among them. Yujin, rather silent and composed, relished the tranquillity of the moment, taking in the breathtaking view of the sparkling ocean.

Soon, they came upon a small mountain that stood majestically at the end of the beach. Eager for a challenge, they decided to tackle the ascent.

"Push, Taerae!" Gunwook called out from behind as he noticed that the eldest had slowed down quite significantly. "I know you're skinny, but you can do it!"

Turning his head to look at Gunwook, Taerae made a playful face. "Shut up! It's Yujin who's slow."

"No!" Yujin denied, disregarding the fact that he was holding up the line, his legs burning as if they were going to fall off if he pushed any harder.

The mountain trail was steep, but the trio was determined. They pushed themselves, conquering the winding path one pedal at a time. It was not without effort, but the rewarding feeling of accomplishment filled their hearts as they reached the summit. At the top, they were rewarded with a panoramic view of the ocean stretching out before them, seemingly endless.

As they caught their breath, they noticed a gondola station nearby, perched on the mountain's edge. Curiosity piqued, they wheeled their bikes towards it, discovering that it offered a unique experience—a gondola ride that would take them over the ocean and back to the other side of the mountain.

Without hesitation, they decided to give it a try. They secured their bicycles to the gondola and stepped inside, taking in the stunning view below as they soared above the glistening waters. Seagulls flew alongside them, and the rhythmic sound of the waves below added to the magical atmosphere.

"If only Junhyeon were here," Taerae dejectedly said under his breath with a sigh.

Gunwook grimaced at the sudden romantic turn their ride took. "Bro, just call him."

Taerae, within seconds, fished his phone out of his pocket, dialling Junhyeon on FaceTime. The call was answered almost immediately, with Taerae's face lighting up at the sight of his partner.

"Why are you in the sky?" was the first thing Junhyeon asked.

Flipping the camera, Taerae showcased the view to Junhyeon, who marvelled at the sight, his oohs and ahhs making it evident. "It's pretty," he said, followed by a beat of silence. "But you look prettier, obviously!"

Sharing a glance with each other, Gunwook and Yujin burst into laughter, causing Taerae to blush in embarrassment.

"Is that Gunwook?" Junhyeon suddenly frowned, but it was so cute to Taerae that it caused his heart to pound.

"Hi Junhyeon~~" Gunwook said cutely between laughs.

"Gunwook, I swear to God, the second I see you again—"

Taerae hung up, clearly embarrassed, but then laughing it off once he realized that Yujin and Gunwook were still in hysterics. "I'll call him back later." He smiled.

After a tranquil and awe-inspiring ride, the gondola brought them back to the starting point on the other side of the mountain. They disembarked, their spirits lifted and hearts full of gratitude for the unforgettable experience they had just shared.

The day was far from over, and with their adventurous spirits still burning bright, the trio decided to explore further. They biked along hidden paths, discovered secret coves, and dipped their toes into the refreshing ocean waters. Along the way, they made new friends, shared stories, and laughed until their stomachs hurt.
