"Stop taking so long," Ricky complains, sitting on his bed as he watches Gyuvin scurry around the room and stuffing various things into his backpack.

It wasn't that Gyuvin was living in Ricky's dorm, but he had been over so many times that enough of his things migrated. He was able to pack his bag without having any problems, but he was stuck on finding his favourite shirt. "I'd be done if i could just find my fucking shirt!"

"And I'd be able to help you if you just told me what it looks like!" Ricky fired back, a sigh of annoyance leaving his lips.

"It's my favourite shirt," Gyuvin says, voice muffled as he rummages through Ricky's closet. "The Adventure Time one."

It takes one glance down at what he was wearing to irritate Ricky further. "I'm fucking wearing it, dumbass."

Gyuvin spins around only to be met with Ricky standing right behind him. "Oh," he says, staring at the very familiar print on the rather large shirt Ricky was wearing. "Found it!"

"You're so stupid," Ricky says with a laugh, pulling the younger into an embrace and pressing a chaste kiss to his head. "We're late now 'cause of you."

Gyuvin gave Ricky a cheeky smile as he grabbed both of their bags after pulling away from the hug. "Aren't you the one who always wants to be fashionably late?"

"Yeah, but not when I'm wearing your ridiculous shirt," Ricky argued, crossing his arms as he stared back at Gyuvin. "Now let's go."

Ricky and Gyuvin arrived at Hanbin's apartment last, causing them to be scolded by Hao but left off the hook since there wasn't necessarily a fixed meeting time. Everyone else was gathered around Hanbin's TV, watching some horror movie Gyuvin had vague memories of watching, but he can't remember what it's about. He found a spot on the floor next to Yujin and in between Ricky's legs as he sat behind Gyuvin on the couch. The only two missing from the group were Matthew and Jiwoong, who were said to be cooking in the kitchen.

It was a well-known fact that Gunwook liked to talk during movies, as it was originally brought up by Taerae, who had gone to see The Little Mermaid with him. This fact seemed to have been forgotten for a while, as Gunwook was being abnormally quiet.

"Is he dead?" Taerae asked, leaning over to look at Ricky, who was sitting at Gunwook's other side. "He hasn't been saying anything."

Ricky glanced at Taerae, then at Gunwook,
who's eyes were open, but not blinking. "Holy shit," he muttered under his breath. "Maybe he is."

Yujin caught wind of the commotion and looked up at those sitting on the couch. "Oh, don't worry," he said nonchalantly. "He sleeps with his eyes open sometimes."

"What?" Ricky used two fingers to check Gunwook's pulse, a sigh of relief following as he realized that the younger was actually perfectly fine. "That's weird as fuck."

"You tell me," Yujin laughs, turning back to the TV to continue watching the movie.

Time passes by and Gyuvin is suddenly feeling parched. He looks up at Hanbin with big, puppy eyes until he notices.

"Everything okay?" asks Hanbin, reaching out to ruffle Gyuvin's hair.

Gyuvin gives Hanbin a smile. "Yeah, but do you have water?"

"In the kitchen," the older replied, "do you want me to get some for you?"

"No, I'll get it," Gyuvin says, eyeing the way that Hanbin and Hao were cuddling on the couch, deciding not to disturb them. "Come, Yujin," he adds as he stands up, the look on the youngest's face telling Gyuvin that he wanted water too.

In the kitchen, Gyuvin freezes at the sight of his two friends eating each other's faces, slapping a hand over Yujin's eyes to cover them. "You guys," he nagged. "Seriously?"

Matthew basically leaps away from Jiwoong, staring at Gyuvin, his face extremely red. "Hey guys," he lets out dryly. "What are you up to?" He glances at Jiwoong, who already had his back facing the rest of them, frying meat on a pan.

"We came for water," Yujin says, prying Gyuvin's hand off his face. "What are you doing?"

"Cooking," Matthew says after blinking a few times. "Water's in the fridge."

Gyuvin nods. "Okay," he says suspiciously. "Thanks, man." He opens the fridge, grabbing a few water bottles and handing some to Yujin. He places two on the counter next to Matthew. "For you." Gyuvin gives the older a goofy smile as he pats his shoulder. "Stay hydrated, you know?"

The two were promptly kicked out of the kitchen by Jiwoong after that.

They did, however, bring water for everyone else, so despite the trauma, at least they got what they needed.

By the time the movie was over, dinner was ready, and nine boys were crowding the kitchen to grab their servings of food. The older guys sat at the table, while the younger ones got comfortable on the carpeted floor, since there wasn't enough space at the table.

There was a large difference in energy; Gyuvin and Gunwook were making the others giggle ever so often while the older ones of the group mostly sat in silence (like a bunch of old grandpas, as Yujin put it).

"I don't get how they stay so energetic so late at night even after practicing," Taerae commented,
taking a glance at those sitting on the floor across the room.

Hao laughed, taking a spoonful of rice into his mouth. "They're always like that," he says. "It's so cute how everything is exciting to them." He fondly takes a look at how Ricky was being teased by the other three he was with.

While Hanbin and Hao cleaned up after everyone, Gyuvin, Yujin, and Gunwook were very absorbed into their Pokémon game by that point. Jiwoong and Taerae, who were interested in the game, were subjected to Gyuvin's mouth running a thousand miles per minute as he told them everything he knew about the game.

Ricky and Matthew sat on the couch, having a conversation in mostly English. They got to know a lot about each other, such as how Ricky had lived in LA and how Matthew spent a majority of his life in Canada. They had a new understanding of each other due how many things they seemed to have in common.

"I never knew that!" Ricky exclaimed after Matthew had told him that he regularly dyes his hair a lighter shade of brown. "I would've just assumed that was your natural colour."

"Everyone always says that," Matthew says with a laugh. "Honestly, if I didn't know any better, I would've also assumed that you were just a natural blonde. "It suits you well."

Things began to die down as it got later into the night, with Hanbin suggesting that everyone should get to bed. Gyuvin and Gunwook were already knocked out on Hanbin's bed, laying on top of each other, which annoyed Ricky, as he wasn't able to cuddle up with Gyuvin. He and Matthew draped a blanket over the two and called it a night. Hao and Hanbin invited Ricky onto their air mattress, insisting he slept in between the two despite his refusal.

Taerae and Matthew took the couch that would extend into a bed, however, instead of sleeping,
they would talk nonstop. They were shushed by who they assumed was Ricky, but that only made Taerae and Matthew laugh even more.

Jiwoong was one of the last people to get into bed, as he was, in fact, reading a story to Yujin in Hanbin's guest bedroom. Even though it was only a joke, he did feel somewhat connected to Yujin. He always took it upon himself to make sure the youngest was properly looked after, especially since he was an only child living with just his mom. Jiwoong knew how it felt to be alone most of the time, and since Yujin was still young, he didn't want to let him end up with the same fate of being afraid of commitment.

It was probably three in the morning by the time all the giggling and hushed conversations died down, and eventually, there was peace.

The morning after, however, was incredibly chaotic; everyone and everything was everywhere. Ricky was basically hogging the bathroom, Jiwoong was in the kitchen almost burning that morning's breakfast, Gyuvin was massaging Gunwook's sore neck that came from how they were sleeping, Hao was fixing Yujin's hair, and Hanbin, Matthew, and Taerae had to go across the hall to use a trusted neighbour's bathroom.

"Okay," Hanbin says after everyone is fed and ready to leave. "Get out!" he jokingly shouts with a laugh, gesturing towards the door.

"Thanks for having us," Jiwoong said, patting Hanbin's shoulder before he and Matthew took their leave. "See you soon!"

Hanbin gets pulled into a group hug that Gyuvin and Gunwook initiated. "Love you, man!" they both take turns saying, leaving with Ricky soon after.

"Sorry for giggling all night," Taerae says with an apologetic smile, leaving with Junhyeon, who ever so kindly came to pick Taerae up.

Silence takes over once Hanbin, Hao, and Yujin are left in the apartment. However, one look at the living room was probably enough to give someone a heart attack at that point.
