Yujin impatiently tapped his foot on the smooth, tile floor of his history class, having lost the plot of the video his teacher put on a long time ago. He glanced over at his friend, who sat next to him, snorting quietly at how he was fast asleep amidst the darkness of the room.

Checking the time on his phone, Yujin suddenly felt nervous. He'd been in the group chat for about a week by then, and while he felt at ease with everyone via text, it didn't reflect his true personality. He was a self-proclaimed extravert, but it took a while for Yujin to truly come out of his shell. From his understanding, Gyuvin was easy to get along with in person, so he took a deep, relaxed breath as he stepped outside his classroom, tuning out the loud, ringing bell that indicated school was over.

He hurriedly texted the playdate group chat, informing Jiwoong that he'd be leaving the school through the front. Yujin's heart was pounding so loudly that he could nearly hear it in his ears. Subconsciously, he did things that would delay him—he held the door for people, went to his locker, tied his shoes, but in the end, he knew he had to cut it out.

Leaving through the front door, Yujin took a deep breath of the fresh air that he never really knew he missed. He walked slowly, trying to make out the drivers in each car in hopes to find Jiwoong in one of them.

"Han Yujin!" shouted a voice from a black minivan. Jumping at the sudden calling of his name, he met eyes with Gyuvin, wore a bright smile as he popped his head out the passenger side window. Yujin couldn't help but have a wide grin himself, lightly jogging towards Jiwoong's car.

"Oh, Han Yujin," Gyuvin cooed, reaching out to pinch the younger's cheek in the backseat. "You're so much cuter in real life."

Yujin's cheeks suddenly reddened as he put his seatbelt on. "Shut up," he said, sticking his tongue out at Gyuvin. "You sound like my mom."

"How was school?" asked Jiwoong through the silence that took over once he began driving. He glanced at Yujin through the rearview mirror, but it was hard for the younger to tell due to Jiwoong wearing sunglasses that blocked his eyes completely.

Yujin made a face as he recalled his day at school. "It was really boring, honestly," he complained. "Like, whatever happened to being a fun teacher, you know? They only have those in elementary school now."

Jiwoong couldn't help but laugh. The younger only had simple things to complain about, which he thought was endearing. "Is that why you've skipped three days in one week?"

"Yes!" Yujin exasperated. "My history teacher has been playing videos all week, like, come on!"

"Look at you!" Gyuvin reached out to Yujin in the backseat once more, gently poking the latter's belly with his index finger. "Being a little rebel."

"Yeah, honestly," Jiwoong agreed. "The way you're wearing your uniform would've gotten me in trouble back in the day."

Gyuvin nudged the eldest in the arm, causing him to curse at the former. "Yujin was right when he called you five hundred years old."

"I'm never wrong!" Yujin declared with a confident smile. "And they don't really care about uniforms, anymore," he explained, looking down at the white hoodie he was wearing under his blazer. "You only need to have your blazer and nametag."

As Jiwoong drove, the three of them continued to converse, Yujin feeling considerably more comfortable than he had anticipated. Jiwoong and Gyuvin acted exactly as they typed in the group chat, which greatly eased the youngest; it didn't feel like they were meeting for the first time in person at all. Yujin stared in astonishment as they drove past the famous university he had heard so much about.

"That's your university?" he asked, gaining responses from the other two that confirmed his suspicions. "I don't think I wanna go here anymore," Yujin added, causing Jiwoong and Gyuvin to laugh.

To Yujin, the park was much more impressive than the university; he'd never seen anything like it—it almost looked like a castle. Immediately, he got out of Jiwoong's parked car and dashed for the swings, Gyuvin close behind. Yujin relived his childhood joys as the older pushed him on the swing, with him swinging higher and higher each time.

Just as Yujin assumed, Jiwoong watched the two from afar, a fond smile on his face as he occasionally took photos of the two playing in the park when they weren't looking. It was endearing to witness—watching how Gyuvin and Yujin laughed as they ran around, energy never seeming to run out.

The two managed to persuade Jiwoong to play hide and seek with them, but the rules seemed to be different from what he remembered. According to the youngest, the seeker had to keep his eyes closed on the playground, but he may keep his eyes open on the ground.

To say it was hell for Jiwoong was an understatement.
