Hailey:

"I'm so bored." I say to myself as I gaze idly at the glow in the dark stars on my ceiling.

I look around my room for something fun to do that won't require too much effort.

Guitar, Records, sketchbook, books, notebooks... God I really don't know when I became so much like Vic.

Looking down at my Hello Kitty pajamas, I decide that I look presentable enough to leave my comfortable bed.

I might as well go see what my brothers are doing. They should be up by now, considering the time is 12:30.

I walk out of my room to see Mike slouched on our sofa, starring at the door intently.

"Mike? Is Everything okay?"

He looks up and right as he's about to respond, the door bell rings.

"PIZZA!" He jells excitedly, launching himself towards the door.

I sigh and make my way down the hall.

I stop outside of the black and lime green door that belongs to Vic and nock.

"Vic?"

I get

no response.

Hm, we never close our doors unless were in our room, so I know he's in there.

"Vic!" I knock louder, hoping that he was just asleep. Alarms are going off in my head but I try to suppress them.

"He's better now, remember? He's better." I tell myself.

"Vic please open the door!"

I rush into Mikes room and grab the key to Vic's.

We each have a key to the others door but Mike's room is closer.

I unlock the door and push it open quickly and let out the breathe I had been holding.

There sits Vic on his bed, with his beats over his head and a comic book in his lap, twirling a strand of his brown hair around his index finger.

I walk over and wrench the headphones from his ears.

"VICTOR!" I say strongly.

He looks up from me to the door and back.

"YOU SCARED THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF ME."

He just stares at me and holds up his comic.

"Sorry?" He says shyly.

I lunge into a hug and he hesitantly hugs me back.

"Listen to your music out loud bro. You know we don't mind. That way you can hear us."

He smiles a guilty smile.

"Okay. I'm sorry Hailey."

I nod and the smile returns to my face.

"So I came to see if you guys are doing anything fun today because I am SO bored and Mike bought pizza."

"Pizza!?", Vic's eyes light up.

"Yes Vicccccc, pizza."

He stands to leave, but turns around.

"Oh yeah, today we're hanging out with Jalex and Tony." I grin at the thought of seeing my best friend.

"I'M COMING TOO!" I yell as he walks out in search of pizza.

The things these boys will eat for breakfast.
