Jackilynn's POV

I awoke lying on the grass. As I sat up I bumped my head into something. I looked up as I rubbed my head to find a boy, about the same age as me, looking down upon me.

"Um.... Bonjour?" I said unsure.

"Hello, my name is Rémé. yours?" He asked.

"Jackilynn."

I sat up and looked around, the trees seemed more vibrant and lively, and the animals scurried around, as if they were all friends.

"Where am I? All I remember was falling into a waterfall, after being chased by something"

"A wolf?"

"Hmm, I think it was a wolf. how'd you know?"

"Um, well, you see, I, I was the wolf."

I sat there mouth hanging open, and he reached his hand out and shut it.

"But-but your human."

"Haven't you ever heard of magic Jackie?"

"Jackie?"

"You really expect me to say your whole name every single time?" He chuckled.

"So, you can magically change into a wolf or something? Like the werewolves in stories?"

"I don't just change into wolves," he chuckles. "I can change into all creatures, even, mythical ones as you would say."

"What do you mean, as I would say?" I asked.

"Dragons, and unicorns, or trolls, and wizards are still alive. they just live here." He explains.

"So, where is here?"

"Your in Faelore Jackie."

"Faelore? How'd I get here?" I asked

"Why don't we go somewhere we won't be watched, you never know what might pop out of the bushes." he grabbed my hand unexpectedly and pulled me towards a lake.

"In there. swim to the bottom. don't worry it's safe." he then jumped into the lake and I saw him change in the air to a fish or sea animal. then swim to the bottom.

I stared at the water.

He expects me to just jump in and swim to the bottom?

He pops back up the the surface.

"You coming? Can't you swim?"

"Of course I can swim. I just don't feel comfortable jumping in a body of water and swimming to the bottom." I say truthfully.

"Just trust me." with that, he swims back down.

Okay Jackie, you can do this. 1...2.....3!

I jump into the cool water and swim to the bottom. I see a light of some sort and swim towards it. and as I reached it, I was immediately in a room, no water in sight.

I was completely dry. immaculately dry. and somehow, I still couldn't fit the pieces together.

I still couldn't believe me of all people, was in a a world like this. and I couldn't get his words out of my head,

"Your in Faelore Jackie."
