Okay:

Why do some of you hate Jason and Piper the most out of the Seven?

Normally, I would see things like: "Jason always gets knocked out." or "Piper is always useless."

But tell me really: In the final battle, how many times exactly did Jason get knocked out? And how many times exactly was Piper being 'useless?'

I just don't get it.

Out of all the times they did something awesomely amazing, you count in the parts where they weren't being so heroic?

When Jason got knocked out with the brick in MoA, you DO realize he was only doing that because 1) he was trying to protect Piper and 2) HE WAS USING HIS BODY AS A SHIELD

And you're gonna say, "Well he shouldn't have used his body!"

Dude.

It wasn't like he was expecting a battle of some sort to happen at that moment. All he had was his sword. Oh yeah, and he could have totally sliced that brick apart because it wouldn't seem like he was trying to calm down his fellow Romans down as a peacemaker like a praetor should. And please. Remember when he and Percy were underwater in BoO? To think, if Jason hadn't acted, who knows what would've happened to Percy.

As for Piper. Please, count how many times has she been 'useless' and count how many times the rest of the Seven would be dead without her? And in her final gesture, thousands of demigods would've been killed without her, no?

And hmm... I really wonder what would've happened to the rest of the Seven excluding Percabeth if she didn't use quick wits to stall Khione and use Festus. Oh, and not forgetting the time when they were in, I think as I have forgotten a bit, the Temple Of Fear or something.

As much as I love Annabeth, Piper was leading them both out of the crumbling structure that was caving in. She was firm with Annabeth yet consoled her at the same time. Being a child of Athena, your fatal flaws are usually things that involve yourself; arrogance, selfishness and in this case, Annabeth's is her pride. She doesn't nor did she ever want to show weakness or fear. Piper helped her with that, and who knows what would've happened if she didn't.

So there you have it.

Tell me, after reading the above, why do you hate Jason and Piper so much?
