So today's rant is going to be very, very short.

Firstly, it's about people instantly hating and showing it publicly. I'm am evidently angry about this and don't start with the, "I say what I want, I am entitled to my own opinion." spaz because what I am about to say is something probably EVERYONE can relate with.

Okay, so I'm going to take an example of something I've been trying to ignore for quite some time now. It's about One Direction.

ALL BECAUSE I MENTIONED FREAKING ONE DIRECTION

Nevermind, I'm carrying on. That was a pretty on-point introduction there, so I'm going ahead with my rant.

On one or two of my chapters on my book Percy Jackson/Heroes Of Olympus Headcanons & One-Shots, I mention One Direction and everybody goes ballistic! I just say, "Oh there's a song by them that really goes well with this!" and someone's like, "EWW I HATE ONE DIRECTION THEY'RE SO GAY OMG!"

I just say, listen to this song, it's only 3 minutes. Instead of saying something based on that, like "You're right. It does match up." or "To me, I didn't really think it fit that well with this."

Some people say, "I HATE 1D LIKE THEIR SONGS ARE ALL ABOUT THE ILLUMINATI."

Not that they actually say that, but you get the picture. Like, before they listen to the song, which I doubt they will, they already start hating.

Why?

Because, they're insolent, inconsiderate, snobbish dip-schists who think that it's fine to hate on things openly and publicly just because they do, and they expect everybody to agree with them.

Just because you hate them, does NOT mean you can say that when the FREAKING AUTHOR ACTUALLY DOES BECAUSE THAT'S JUST DISRESPECTFUL. YOU DON'T LIKE THEM? YOU WANT TO GET THAT ACROSS TO ME AND OTHER PEOPLE ON THE WEB? SAY IT IN A GOOD MANNERED WAY. WHAT WAS THAT? YOU BELIEVE EVERY ONE ELSE WHO SEES YOUR COMMENT WILL IMMEDIATELY AGREE WITH YOU?

I'M SORRY, NEWS FLASH: ONE DIRECTION HAS A VERY LARGE FANBASE, YOU CAN'T DENY THAT, SO IF YOU SEE SOMEONE LIKE ME WHO IS A DIRECTIONER, YOU EXPECT THINGS LIKE THIS.

OKAY FROM NOW ONWARDS I'M USING ALL CAPS BECAUSE I'M SO FREAKING PISSED

I AM HONESTLY SPEAKING, VERY MUCH AGAINST OPENLY HATING.

I SEE SOMETHING, I HATE IT, BUT I DON'T SAY, "OMG I HATE THIS EW EW EW I'M GETTING CANCER!"
BECAUSE I ACTUALLY RESPECT THE PEOPLE WHO DO LIKE THAT CERTAIN THING, AND IT'S FINE BY ME.

I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST PEOPLE WHO HATE THEM, MY RESPECT FOR THEM HAS NOT CHANGED, IT'S THOSE WHO JUST OPENLY SAY THEY HATE THEM IN A DISGUSTED WAY THAT MAKES MY RESPECT FOR THEM GO DOWN THE DRAIN.

I'M OKAY WITH PEOPLE SAYING THEY STRONGLY DISLIKE THEM AS LONG AS THEY SAY IT IN A PROFESSIONAL WAY, BUT NOT THOSE JUST GO LIKE, "I HATE THEM I HATE THEM I HATE THEM EWWWWWWWW!!!1!1!1!1!!1!"

AND IT'S NOT JUST FOR ONE DIRECTION. THERE ARE MILLIONS OF THINGS I COULD USE ALSO USE AN EXAMPLE, BUT I THINK SOMEONE WOULD DIE AT ALL THE 'INSULTS' AND 'OFFENSE' THROWN AT THEM.

LIKE JEYNA OR JIPER, PERCABETH OR PERACHEL, CALEO OR LEYNA, PERCICO OR LEICO!

^THEY OPENLY HATE ON THINGS LIKE THESE. I GET IT IF YOU DON'T LIKE THEM, BUT UNLESS YOU'RE GOING TO DIE UNLESS YOU SAY YOU HATE ONE DIRECTION, THEN SHUT YOUR TRAP.
