Sorry if it's inaccurate...
Sorry if it sucks...

On that day, humanity remember...
The dread that was a life under their rule...
The humiliation of being caged like birds.
On that day, we learned what real fear of the titans felt like.

"Bring it to her," the man - with head short brown hair, with circles around his eyes - said. He couldn't look directly at the poor woman's eyes.
"Don't look away," Caleb deadpanned.
The woman was on her knees, still asking for her long gone child. Another member of the Survey Corps, went to get something from a bag, hanging on a horse.
It was a piece of cloth covering something. The woman slowly takes it, and she opens it with trembling fingers.
"What the..." Caleb holds on to your shoulder tightly.
You couldn't see what was the cloth hiding, but the way the woman wailed was enough to inform you. She raised her gaze, firmly hugging "it."
"That's it," the sad man said, crouched down, leveling with the sad woman. "That's all we were able to recover."
"But... But... my son has been useful, hasn't he?" She asked, puddles of tears, streaming down her cheeks.
Her voice was shaky, sending more knives to stab your sympathetic heart. You were sure that Caleb was screaming and crying inside, but he kept a blank expression.
The man was too much at awe to speak, when...
"I had enough." Caleb roughly pulled your arm, pulling you away from the scene.
You closed your eyes, and let the droplets of liquid roll down your face.
"IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE OUTSTANDING! HE CONTRIBUTED! HIS DEATH CONTRIBUTED TOWARDS HUMANKIND'S RETALIATION, DID IT NOT?!" The woman's sharp voice entered your ears.
Silence followed.
.
.
.
"H-He was brave... of course..." the man stopped before he finally broke and cried. "BUT IT WAS ALL FOR NOTHIN-"
You couldn't hear the last part, Caleb already shoved you away from the scene. No one was there in the alley, but you and Caleb.
The alley was silent, leaving the sounds of birds chirping and the sound of the wind whooshing over you two.
Caleb was a childish thirteen-year-old boy, but what hides under his mask... is a boy with seriousness and intelligence flooding over his brain. Like you, he was sympathetic; always trying to save people in little ways. But, when you look into his eyes long enough, you could see blankness and somehow bleakness.
"You were the one who said, 'Don't look away,' you imitate his voice in a mocking tone.
He forcefully pulled his hand away from your arm. "I only did that to let you see what could happen if you joined the scouting legion!"
"You always pull my arm. It might break or something," you murmur under your breath.
"I'm your brother, listen to me dammit! I need you to stay alive!" His voice echoed through the empty alley.
"I need you to believe in me!"
"No!"
"Leave me alone!" You shouted, clenched fists by your sides.
"I'm gonna tell Mom!"
"Don't you dare..." you threw a death glare at him.
"Oh, I'll do it. I'll do anything to prevent your demise."
You couldn't take it anymore. Your legs automatically moved. You ran away from your over-protective brother. Caleb was just a headache.
You went to flower field you two, Caleb and You, always played in, when you were little. You sat down under a tree, in the middle of the field and made yourself into a ball. You hug your knees and started to sulk.
"Stupid Caleb. STUPID CALEB! DUMMY! I just want him to see me help save the world... er... humanity. I just want him to be proud along with mother," you grumbled.
Suddenly, yellow lightning strikes outside the wall. Followed by an earthquake-like shake from the ground.
You looked around in confusion. "W-what is this?!"
You glance at the wall, where a large hand was gripping on it, crushing the top with ease. Your eyes widen in realization - it was a titan. But, the wall was 50-meters high! What kind of Titan is that?!
A head slowly popped out. It really was a Titan! It stared at everyone with dull eyes. It's face looked human... only without their skin.
You stood there, paralyzed in fear for just a moment, when somebody suddenly tap you on the shoulder gently. You turn around to see who it was.
"C-Caleb!" You shout.
"We're dead." he smiled.
"W-What are you-"
A strong wind gushed through everything. Caleb held onto the tree, holding onto your arm as well to prevent you from being blown away.
You screamed, but it came out muffled. After what seemed like forever, everything stopped. You cock your head to see what was happening.
People were dead. Rocks crushed some, their blood stained everywhere. The ground shook again. A large figure walked closer and closer in a slow pace. Both of your (e/c) eyes widened.
"Let's go get mom," Caleb deadpanned as he stood in front of you.
You nod. The two of you ran towards the direction of your house, passing numerous corpses, injured civilians and running people from the grotesque titans.
You mangaged to avoid the titans, but other's were just unlucky and got eaten. You and your beloved family, got to the evacuation boats. You even got to see a glimpse of the menacing armored Titan. Your father and baby sister were too unfortunate.
"Now I'll definitely exterminate them! I'll destroy them all..." you silently promise to yourself.
"I'll join you..." He puts a hand on your shoulder comfortably. "To protect you..."
You both threw determined smiles at each other. You stared at Eren Jaeger, who was making the same promise, but with more rage into it.
