Argument

A/N

Just for fun, I made a copy of the drawing done by Nerdy_Lilac and coloured it using an app I found on my phone. I'm not good at this sort of thing, don't judge. Not to mention it was no professional paint app.

Almost everyone at the hideout was out doing something, and those who weren't were plugging their ears. Why? Himika and Kaneki were currently in a heated argument, the calm and collected half-ghouls were now screaming at each other as they argued.

"You need to go back to Antieku!" Kaneki yelled. "It isn't safe here! Your just a kid!"

"I may be a kid techniqually but I'm stronger than most of the lower ghouls here!" Himika retorted.

"Everyone at Antieku is worried about you! I can only imagine how Hinami feels!" Kaneki said, glaring at her.

"Everyone at Antieku is worried about you too! Touka's depressed and so is everyone else!" Himika replied. "Even Hinami is missing you! She thinks of you like a brother!"

Kaneki stopped, suddenly looking saddended.

"Look, Himika," He started, lowering his voice. "The only reason I don't want you here is because you and Hinami are like my little sisters, I don't know what I'd do if either of you died because of me."

"Then why don't you save us by coming back." Himika replied angrily, rushing to the door and storming out.

"Himika wait!" Kaneki called after her, sighing when the door slammed shut.

Himika stormed out of the hideout, flipping up her hood and settling for taking a walk around Tokyo.

'I can see why he want's to send me to Antieku, afterall I totally lost control at Cochlea.' Himika thought. 'Not to mention I've missed school for these last three days.'

Himika continued walking down the afternoon streets of Tokyo, not really knowing where she should go.

'I have some spare change... Maybe stop at a coffee shop?' She thought. 'As long as it isn't Antieku.'

Himika trudged down the streets, looking around for a coffee shop, one far away from Antieku. She passed a few clothing stores and various other shops until she eventually found a bakery and coffee shop, she walked inside, not bothering to read the name of the shop. She sauntered inside, finding a table in the corner.

"Hello, what can I get you?" An overly cheerful girl asked.

"One coffee, black." Himika ordered, not bothering with being polite.

"Would you like to try a slice of our delicious strawberry cake?" She asked.

Himika almost gagged. "No."

The woman walked behind the counter and got to work, turning on the machine they used to make coffee. Himika rolled her eyes, knowing that Antieku wouldn't use a machine.

The lady come back from behind the counter, holding a mug in her hand. "Here's your order."

Himika took the cup as the lady walked off, not bothering with thanking her, finding she really wasn't in the mood.

She took a sip of the scalding liquid and frowned slightly, noting that it didn't taste as good as the coffee from Antieku. Himika sat in silence, thinking about what to say to Kaneki when she returned. She did miss everyone at Antieku, but at the same time she was worried about what would happen to Kaneki, especially if she isn't around.

She appreciated Kaneki's concern, but she was more worried about him. The reason he wanted to send her back to Antieku was because he lost control at Cochlea. Little did he know, Himika had lost control as well, having no memory of her fight with Amon, Shin had also been eerily quiet. It bothered her that she couldn't remember what she did, and what's worse is that she wasn't remembering any more about her old life.

Himika sighed in self defeat as she placed her empty cup down, not really knowing what to do. Eventually the woman came back with the bill placing it on the table. Himika emptied her pockets onto the table, using some money she had gotten from Kaneki, she placed the money on the table before walking out.

"What a disappointment." Himika sighed once she had left the building.

She wondered silently through the bustling streets, not really knowing where to go or what to do. She wanted to go to the library, but decided against it, not wanting to have a run-in with any Doves. Himika shoved her hands into her hoodie pocket, sighing in slight boredom as she wondered the streets, clueless as to where she was headed.

The sound of boxes toppling over brought her attention in front of her. A boy around Kaneki's age with orange hair and deep honey like eyes was sitting on the ground before a pile of three large boxes.

"Just great..." He sighed to himself.

Himika couldn't help but stare. She had the strange urge to talk to him, but didn't know why. She watched as people paid him no mind, not bothering to help him. Her feet seemed to move on their own, bringing her closer and closer to the mystery boy.

"Do you need assistance?" Himika asked, almost robotically, offering him a hand to get up.

The boy looked up at her outstretched hand, tilting his head in confusion.

"You're a strange one." He mumbled, still staring at her hand.

Himika stood there awkwardly with her still outstretched hand. The boy seemed to get out of his daze and he finally gripped her hand, hoisting himself up, and giving her a surprised look.

"Stronger then you look..." He muttered, dusting himself off.

"Do you need help?" Himika asked, refraining her previous question.

"Yeah actually!" He exclaimed. "That would be awesome!"

"What do you need help with?" Himika asked.

"I'm delivering these boxes." He replied, gesturing to the three boxes sprawled across the pavement. "If you could carry one I'll get there a lot faster."

Himika didn't know what got into her,  but she decided to help.

"Alright, lead the way." Himika agreed, picking up a box.

"Right! Follow me!" He exclaimed, grabbing the other two boxes.

You're a genius... Following a stranger. I can't believe it. Why me? Why am I stuck with you?

Shin continued complaining to himself as Himika scolded herself, wondering why she feels so strangely around him. He has an air of trust and happiness surrounding him, and he seems like an idiot but is smarter than he let's on.

Himika followed him blindly through the streets, dodging people left and right, and keeping the mysterious package safe. She eventually came to a tall skyscraper, the only unsettling thing about it were the letters in gold on the building.

CCG.

Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit. We need to get out of here. Like, yesterday.

Himika controlled her urge to shake in fear and followed him inside the building, using the box to hide her face from sight, making sure no one saw her fear.

The boy stopped at a desk and a black haired woman stopped him.

"Please state your name and reason for visiting." The woman ordered, getting ready to type on her computer.

"Hideyoshi Nagachika!" He replied. "Here to deliver stuff to some of the investigators!" He replied.

"I remember you now," The woman smiled. "But who is the girl with you?"

Hideyoshi slapped his forehead in a comical way before shaking his head.

"I didn't even bother to ask..." He sighed.

"My name's Himika Kirishima." Himika said, using her fake last name. "I'm helping Hideyoshi just for today."

"Yeah, Himika here is helping me!" Hideyoshi said, placing his hand on her head.

"Alright," The woman replied, typing away on her keyboard. "Here are your visitor passes."

The lady handed them each a red laminated card with a yellow string to hang around their necks. In black letters the pass had their names and the word visitor printed in bold.

"I'm sure you know where to go Hide." The woman said.

"Sure do!" He replied. "See you later!"

Hideyoshi lead the way to what Himika could only assume was some kind of scanner. She started to panick when Shin began voicing his worries.

Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit. We are so fucked. I'm going to die. Again.

'What the hell is that machine?' Himika asked.

Let's just say that it's what is going to indefinitely kill us.

'Boy aren't you just a ray of sunshine.' Himika thought sarcastically.

"Himika? Fancy seeing you here." A new voice said, making Himika freeze.

'Shit...'

A/N

And done! Sorry if you don't like any of the language used, but Himika is slowly getting more and more vulger, thanks to what's going on in her life and Shin. Hope you found this chapter at least a little intresting. Also, more of Shin will be coming in future chapter's, I'm still deciding what I want him to look like...
